Ventajas: el entorno está tranquilo y privado, el paisaje es muy bonito, la calidad de la comida en el desayuno y la habitación es buena, el servicio es bueno. Desventaja: llegó a las tres de la tarde, se hospedió y esperaba que se derrumbara una hora entera. La habitación no tiene aire acondicionado, las instalaciones son sencillas. La baño abierta, no se lava por la noche, se quedará frío.

Esta casa de huéspedes fue muy recomendada por algunos amigos, ¡y tenían razón! Llegamos en tren desde Kandy por la tarde, y aunque no habíamos informado al dueño de esto, estaba esperando en la estación de tren para recogernos. Fue un viaje corto hasta la casa de huéspedes, donde conocimos a su esposa e hija, nos dieron té e hicimos arreglos para un viaje a la mañana siguiente a Lipton's Peak (para ver el amanecer, ¡comienzo temprano pero increíble!) Le explicamos que somos veganos , pero esto no fue un problema, y la dueña de la casa nos preparó la cena más increíble, con varios curry, arroces, bebida y postre. Hubo un pequeño cargo adicional por la cena, y me refiero a pequeño, especialmente dada la cantidad y calidad de la comida. ¡Delicioso! Nuestra habitación era muy bonita y limpia, con una cama cómoda y un bonito balcón, donde nos sentamos afuera y escuchamos los sonidos de la naturaleza nocturna de Haputale. También teníamos un baño privado con ducha preciosa (trae tus propios artículos de aseo). Solo íbamos a pasar la noche para visitar Lipton's Seat, después de lo cual tomamos el desayuno más INCREÍBLE (¡la primera vez que probé el sambal de coco, tan bueno!) El propietario había organizado que el mismo conductor nos llevara a Udawalawa, que es de 3 horas de distancia, por un precio razonable. Si visita Haputale, le recomiendo encarecidamente esta casa de huéspedes: una familia encantadora, un alojamiento confortable y una comida fantástica. Gracias

Keeping in mind this is a 3 star hotel, the positives are the rooms are big with a balcony looking out at amazing views (ours anyway), and the pool is clean and quite big also with amazing views and a concrete elephant water feature!!! The location of the hotel is pretty good too - far enough from other properties to be quiet but close enough to Ella main drag that you can walk in 10-15 minutes or pay a tuk tuk driver double the rate of Colombo to get to and from. The big negative for us was that despite being told upon checking in that the room would be cleaned every day, it was not. And I was told the reason why was that we didn’t hand in our key for it to be done - which seems bizarre after staying in hotels for decades and not being told to or having to hand in a key in order to get a standard daily room clean. The insinuation that it was our fault for not handing in a key (not that we were told to do so on checking in) was extremely irritating. Food was ok but overpriced so we ate elsewhere (lots of options). There were lots of little things in the rooms that could be easily addressed to make them nicer - definitely not having ripped old bath towels, and removing an empty TV bracket from the wall (like a TV used to be there but not anymore - or was it just our room, who knows). All these little things add up to I really think the room rate is too high - but we are here in the high season so maybe that’s just the going rate.

La ventana de ventilación del baño está directamente fuera del cuarto de baño. Después de abrir la luz de la noche, hay un cojinete y un pequeño cojinete. La habitación puede ser porque es demasiado húmeda. Sin embargo, el servicio del hotel es muy bueno. La mañana siguiente fuimos a Safari porque la tarjeta de autobús de la selva tardó en llegar a la caja. El hotel también llamó para preguntarnos si no necesitamos dejar nuestro desayuno.

Had a very pleasant and affordable stay at this hotel during our visit to Ella. The location is very convenient, and the service from the staff was friendly and helpful. When checking out, they helped us to book a car to our next destination. After arriving we realized we left something in the car and the driver drove back to our hotel to deliver it to us.

Great place on top of the mountain. food is excellent, service is better

¡Qué sorprendente! La comida estaba fuera de este mundo. La piscina era grande y acabo de amar la sostenibilidad del lugar. Crecer todas las frutas y verduras sorprendente!

酒店在山林裏，環境很好，有很大的露台，老闆是一對很和善的夫妻，早餐也很豐盛，紅茶很好喝，可以在酒店附近各種拍照，在樓台拍到了星空，銀河和螢火蟲。性價比超級高，非常推薦
