We stayed for a night and this property exceeded expectations. It is spotless and you dont need to leave at all. It is so well run and the service is so personalized, from which bus you are taking back into town to what allergies you have, all staff members take note of your preferences. Especially want to thank ***** for making this stay so memorable! Food is also very wholesome and seasonal. Could not fault this place if you tried!

The most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hotel. We had some of the best sleep during our stay. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows and soft, high-quality linens. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and very well soundproofed, with lots of space to store luggage and personal items, plus many useful amenities. The entire hotel has a modern, clean design and is kept in excellent condition. The staff were very kind, professional, and spoke English, which made everything easy. They even provided umbrellas free of charge when it rained, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel bar also deserves a mention. The service was excellent, the drinks were very good, and the parfaits were delicious. Since parfaits are very popular locally in Sapporo, I definitely recommend trying one here. The location is convenient too: just a short walk from Susukino and the Sapporo city center, close to the station by a few metro stops, and easy to reach by taxi. Overall, this Marriott was a real gem. Because of such a pleasant experience here, I’ll definitely consider staying at other Marriott Courtyard hotels in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Portom International Hokkaido and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The hotel feels very new and modern, and everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The onsen was one of our favourite parts of the stay. It was beautifully designed, peaceful, and a great way to relax after a long day. We also appreciated having access to a well-equipped gym, which was spotless and had everything needed for a good workout. The room amenities were surprisingly comprehensive. It wasn’t just the usual toiletries—they even provided thoughtful extras like air freshener, onsen pj, actual pj, bedroom slippers which made the stay feel extra comfortable and convenient. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and quality of the facilities really stood out. Portom International Hokkaido made our trip even more enjoyable, and we’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and premium stay near the airport.

Exceptional Private Onsen & Hokkaido Flavors. Overall Impression: A perfect blend of convenience and cozy. Despite the bustling atmosphere and classic, dark decor, the private onsen and dining experience make this a standout choice in the area. Hightlights: The room: Spacious with beautiful wooden floors and a private outdoor onsen. Soaking in the heat while snow falls is pure magic. Features like the ”His&Her” sinks and an in-room massage chair make our stay more comfortable. All complimentary in the room adds a thoughful touch. Dining: The buffet offers and impressive variety of local dishes alongside beautifully plated mains. Even when busy, the staff sustematically managed the seating, ensuring we enjoyed the stunning winter views comfortably. The Hokkaido cheese pizza and dessert are absolute must-tries. Location and Service: Perfectly situated in the heart of the sightseeing district, with famous sweet shop right nearby. The complimentary valet parking and polight, perfessional staff made our stay seamless. Observations: Atmosphere: The common areas can feel a bit crowded due to its popularity. Design: The room interiors are a bit outdated and lean toward very dark tones, and notably, Netflix is not available on the in-room TV. Note: Windows are fixed; ventilation is managed via the onsen balcony door. Verdict: Highly recommended for foodies and onsen lovers who want to be the center of the action.

1. Hotel located near Odori Park metro station 2. Surrounded with many eating houses and the famous shopping street Tanukikojo Streets are also just few minutes walk from the hotel. 3. Hotel lobby and hotel restaurant are located in main building, and our room were in 2nd building. 4. There were coin-operated washer+dryer in some of the floors hence which is quite convenience for guests to use. 5. Breakfast were so so. 6. I have stayed in Holiday Inn hotel many times (1st time in Japan) and this is the 1st time i see Dove brand for shower and hair shampoo. Overall the hotel met my expectations.

A premium stay and an absolute haven for onsen lovers While this property comes at a premium price point, the quality of the amenities makes for a highly memorable stay. The room was generously spacious and comfortable, and the dining experience stood out with a truly impressive buffet offering. However, the absolute highlight of this hotel is the hot spring facilities. The onsen—particularly the one located on the 8th floor—is spectacular and I cannot praise it enough. If you are an onsen lover visiting the area, this is undoubtedly the hotel to choose.

Had great stay at this Hotel located across the train station. All the facilities and amenities were excellent , Breakfast at the top floor was excellent with so many options to choose . Staffs and everything was fantastic.

Las principales deficiencias son: 1. Servicio. El encargado de recepción del hotel era un extranjero bastante distante, rubio y de ojos azules. El personal japonés, en cambio, fue muy amable. 2. Las aguas termales. Está bastante lejos del edificio principal y abre parte de la mañana y parte de la tarde, cerrando solo a las 9:30. La prohibición de tatuajes es prácticamente absurda. Esa noche, un grupo de taiwaneses alborotadores, incluyendo uno con un tatuaje, estaba armando un alboroto en las aguas termales. 3. Está bastante lejos del pueblo termal principal y del muelle del lago Toya. Se encuentra en la cima de una colina cercana, a 10 minutos en coche. Esperábamos ver los fuegos artificiales del lago Toya desde nuestra habitación, pero era una vista lejana. 4. Las opciones gastronómicas del hotel son limitadas. Hay dos restaurantes japoneses y una pizzería. El bar suele cerrar a las 23:00 o 23:30. En general, es un buen lugar para una escapada de unos días, con opciones para jugar al golf y disfrutar de aguas termales, todo en la montaña. No es adecuado para una excursión al lago Toya con registro, principalmente por su incomodidad.

Nice Onsen resort and we like the private Onsen inside the room. The room is huge but it will be great if it has international channels or even Netflix or YouTube. It provides transport to Sapporo so that is great. Nice free drinks and snacks at night.
