«La última vez que vine a Yunnan, me alojé en otros hoteles City Convenient. Tuve una buena impresión de esta marca de hotel. Esta vez lo elegí de nuevo. Está a menos de diez minutos a pie del metro de Jiaosanqiao. Estación y cerca del parque Cuihu y de la ciudad. El centro tampoco está lejos. El hotel está muy limpio ya que hace mucho que no está abierto, todas las instalaciones son muy nuevas. Lo único que no me gustó fue la puerta corredera del baño, que estaba muy tosca y propensa a atascarse. El desayuno que ofrecía el hotel era bastante bueno. La experiencia general es muy buena.»

UUsuario invitadoThis was my second stay at a Banyan Tree property, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable and pleasant experience.
Frank, our personal concierge, was exceptionally responsive and attentive throughout our stay. He was always quick to assist with our requests and even replied to messages after regular working hours. There was a minor housekeeping incident during our stay, but Frank handled the service recovery professionally and resolved the matter promptly. The thoughtful gesture of providing gifts and a cake was greatly appreciated, and my child absolutely loved the surprise. From start to finish, we felt genuinely well taken care of. Frank’s service was highly commendable, and he is definitely a valuable asset to the Banyan Tree Group.
Our dinner experience at Baiyun was also superb. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was excellent.
We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot session, which became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Our photographer was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us throughout the session and capturing many beautiful photos. In the end, I decided to purchase a photo package because the photos turned out so well and were truly worth it. The staff there were also warm, friendly, efficient, and highly responsive.
There are, however, a few areas that could be improved:
1. The menu and operating schedule for Mingyue were somewhat confusing. We had planned to have dinner there one evening, only to realize that Chinese cuisine was not served on certain days and during certain hours, which required us to make alternative arrangements.
2. The soundproofing in the room could be improved, as we were able to hear our neighboring guests quite clearly even when they were speaking at normal volume.
3. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Although we adjusted it to a comfortable level, the temperature would occasionally drop suddenly and become very cold.
4. Staff could perhaps be slightly more observant and proactive. On our first day, it was raining when we arrived at the room via buggy. There was no sheltered area where we alighted, so we had to stand briefly in the rain while moving our luggage.
5. The fruit platter in the room could be fresher. The apples and oranges did not seem as fresh compared to what we experienced at other hotels in Dali and Kunming.
6. Breakfast options could be expanded further. I was also hoping to find more fresh and exotic detox juices, especially ones prepared on the spot. (Similar to Bintan Banyan Tree)
Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still excellent. The scenery and views within the resort were absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed being able to feed the ducks and fishes. It created a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. We would definitely love to return again someday.

不过，酒店仍有几个方面可以进一步提升：
1. Mingyue 的菜单及营业安排稍微有些混乱。我们原本计划某晚在那里用餐，后来才发现中餐只在特定日期和时段供应，导致我们需要临时另作安排。
2. 房间的隔音效果可以再加强一些，因为即使隔壁房客只是正常音量交谈，我们也能听得相当清楚。
3. 淋浴的水温不太稳定。虽然我们已经调到舒适温度，但水温偶尔还是会突然下降，变得非常冷。
4. 员工或许可以更主动及细心一些。我们第一天抵达房间时正好下雨，而下车的位置并没有遮雨处，因此我们在搬运行李时需要短暂淋雨。
5. 房内水果盘的新鲜度可以再提升。苹果和橙子的状态，相较于我们之前在大理及昆明入住的其他酒店，感觉没有那么新鲜。
6. 早餐选择方面可以再更加丰富一些。我也特别期待能有更多现做的新鲜排毒果汁或特色果汁。（类似Banyan Tree Bintan的安排）
尽管存在这些小问题，但整体入住体验依然非常优秀。度假村内的景色和环境真的非常漂亮，我们尤其喜欢可以喂鸭子和鱼儿的体验，让整个氛围变得格外轻松惬意，也非常适合家庭度假。未来有机会的话，我们一定还会想再次回来入住。

UUsuario invitadoEn el casco antiguo de Lijiang encontré una excelente opción de alojamiento: este B&B. Tiene una ubicación estratégica, un diseño único y lleno de ingenio. Al entrar en la habitación, es espaciosa y luminosa, sencilla pero elegante, y el ambiente general es limpio y elegante. Las instalaciones de apoyo son completas y se tienen en cuenta en cada detalle las diversas necesidades. Lo que vale la pena mencionar es que la pequeña terraza adjunta al B&B ofrece una vista panorámica de las montañas cubiertas de nieve. Cuando la brisa de la mañana sopla en tus mejillas, te sientes renovado y cómodo. Tomamos té y charlamos aquí, con el magnífico paisaje de las montañas nevadas a la vista. Desde la bienvenida hasta el servicio diario, ya sea un saludo por la mañana o un servicio tranquilo por la noche, podrá sentir su atención y sinceridad hacia cada huésped. Este lugar no solo me permitió experimentar el entusiasmo y la vitalidad de Lijiang, sino que también me hizo sentir la calidez y la comodidad de un B&B. Fue una experiencia de alojamiento excelente y muy rentable.

We’ve just returned from Dali, and the place we keep thinking about most is this hidden gem at the foot of Cangshan Mountain — Mutian Time Designer Guesthouse.
Oriental aesthetics in every corner
The guesthouse is converted from a century-old traditional Bai courtyard house. With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere.
The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined.
Comfort with thoughtful details
Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay.
Warm and attentive service
From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore.
The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day.
A peaceful location near the old town
The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature.
More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. If you’re looking to experience the slower, more peaceful side of Dali, this is definitely a place worth staying.

La habitación era espaciosa, igual que las fotos de muestra, y la ventana ofrecía una vista directa del casco antiguo de Lijiang. ¡La vista era impresionante, tanto de día como de noche!

El hotel es fácilmente accesible, justo en la intersección de la avenida Guannan y la calle Guangfu, junto al lago Dianchi y con impresionantes vistas. Además, está convenientemente ubicado cerca de atracciones como el Parque de los Humedales y la Aldea Étnica de Yunnan.
La arquitectura del hotel desprende un fuerte encanto del sudeste asiático. Nada más entrar, te sientes como si estuvieras de vacaciones en Tailandia. La vegetación tropical y la exquisita decoración crean un ambiente relajante y acogedor.
¡Las aguas termales y el spa del hotel son realmente un punto culminante! La piscina cubierta climatizada con atrio, de 1130 metros cuadrados, cuenta con aguas cristalinas, ideales para un refrescante baño. También hay una zona de juegos infantiles donde los niños no querrán irse. En el exterior, hay 18 piscinas termales, cada una con un hermoso diseño y privacidad. El baño de vapor de sal también merece una visita; te deja con una sensación de relajación total. También disfruté de un masaje de aromaterapia herbal. La técnica experta del masajista y su suave presión fueron perfectas, dejándome completamente renovado. Las opciones gastronómicas también son excelentes. El restaurante de mariscos Xilehui y el restaurante Yiduo Yuntai ofrecen un menú rico y variado, con cocina de Yunnan, Sichuan, cantonesa y tailandesa, para todos los gustos. Cada plato se prepara con ingredientes frescos y es increíblemente delicioso.

Va a pescar todas las mañanas y tardes. Agradezco el entusiasmo y la paciencia del personal (lamentablemente no recuerdo sus nombres). Bella, la recepcionista, también es muy amable. Nos ayudó a presentar a los pequeños animales del hotel, así como a indicarnos el horario y el lugar para interactuar con ellos. La señorita Vina también fue muy atenta al ayudarnos con el registro. 首先説服務，淡季入住，服務人員並不多，但是能感覺到從管家大山到餐廳、温泉、前台所有服務人員的熱情專業。前台服務人員一人身兼多職，幫我們泡茶、開車送我們去房間等。全程顯示出專業的培訓水準。
雖然是一家開業二十年的酒店了，但是處處不覺得老舊，酒店處處是風景、温泉也很不錯。房間的院子美到窒息。
驚喜的是餐廳的出品很好吃，雲南菜系做的很棒。
下次還會再來的。
酒店還贈送了免費的商務車機場接送機服務和消費券在酒店用餐或者spa使用。很不錯。

LliathanongA relatively new hotel. Perfect for a overnight stay for people rushing to the high speed the next morning. Room was big and comfortable.
We booked for the non smoking level but there is an ashtray on the living room table and u can smell cigarette smoke along corridor. Really wished this country makes more effort in advocating for non smoking despite signs beinf put up.
We managed to search for a little night market, Shilin night market about 10 mins taxi ride away from the hotel. Maybe hotel can provide more information about places around for tourists.
It is also a short walking distance to the metro which is linked to high speed as well.
Managed to book the free pick up from high speed to hotel however the next day's hotel to high speed is already fully booked. We also didn't managed to have breakfast due to timing of our high speed.

Ubicación: Excelente ubicación frente al puerto de Dali. La parada del autobús turístico de Erhai está a solo 3-5 minutos a pie, y la estación de tren de alta velocidad de Dali se encuentra a tan solo 5-10 minutos en coche, muy conveniente para viajar a Haidong.
Habitación e instalaciones: Nos alojamos en una habitación en una planta alta con vistas a Erhai y un fantástico paisaje del lago. La terraza de la azotea es el mayor atractivo para disfrutar de las vistas panorámicas de Erhai. Las habitaciones están bien amuebladas y los huéspedes pueden elegir almohadas de diferentes texturas según sus necesidades. El hotel está totalmente equipado con gimnasio, piscina y spa. El desayuno ofrece una gran variedad de opciones y deliciosos pasteles.
Servicio: Tuvimos algunos pequeños problemas de comunicación al principio, que se resolvieron perfectamente gracias a la ayuda de la mayordoma Mary (¡Gracias también a Soraya por su ayuda!). Ella nos ayudó con toda la coordinación, nos recomendó atracciones locales y se preocupó por nuestra experiencia durante toda la estancia. El hotel indica claramente los servicios gratuitos y de pago con total transparencia.

From the moment we planned our arrival, the staff’s proactive approach was evident. Even before we reached the hotel, they reached out to inquire if we needed assistance traveling from Dali, showcasing their commitment to guest comfort.
Upon arrival, we encountered an issue with paying our driver, but the hotel staff and manager stepped in personally to resolve it, ensuring the driver was paid and allowing us to settle with the hotel directly. This kind of hands-on, problem-solving service was truly remarkable and reflective of their par-excellence standards.
The hotel itself is a masterpiece of thoughtful design and customer care. The room amenities were top-notch, meticulously curated to enhance the guest experience, demonstrating the management’s attention to detail. The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room offered breathtaking views of Dragon Lake reflecting the majestic Snow Dragon Mountain, with the serene surrounding nature elevating the experience to another level. Even our bathtub provided a stunning view, adding a touch of luxury and tranquility to our stay. Every staff member was courteous, professional, and eager to assist, whether it was arranging local excursions, recommending dinners and restaurants, booking spa sessions, or scheduling a photoshoot. Their coordination and professionalism were next-level, making every moment of our stay seamless and enjoyable.
Despite the language barrier, as I don’t speak Chinese, the staff bridged this gap effortlessly, ensuring clear communication and making us feel completely at ease. This level of care and coordination is rare and deserves high praise.
Our time at Bantang·White House was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang. Kudos to the entire team for their outstanding work—thank you for making our stay unforgettable!
