Reseña del Astoria Resort Palawan: ¡Nuestra estancia en el Astoria Resort Palawan fue absolutamente inolvidable! Desde el momento en que aterrizamos, toda la experiencia fue fluida, relajante y memorable. Aquí les detallamos por qué nos encantó nuestra estancia en este maravilloso resort: 1. Recogida en el aeropuerto sin contratiempos: Nos recibieron en el aeropuerto con un traslado sin complicaciones al resort. La recogida fue rápida, eficiente y sin estrés, lo que facilitó enormemente el comienzo de nuestras vacaciones. 2. Cálida bienvenida: Al llegar al resort, el personal nos recibió con gran calidez y hospitalidad. El ambiente acogedor nos hizo sentir como en casa, y las sonrisas del equipo nos dejaron una huella imborrable. 3. Check-in temprano: Como viajábamos con un niño de un año, agradecimos mucho que el resort nos permitiera hacer el check-in temprano, alrededor de las 9:00. Fue un gesto muy considerado, ya que nos dio tiempo para acomodarnos y descansar después del vuelo. 4. Desayuno increíble y personal atento: El desayuno era lo mejor de cada mañana. La comida no solo estuvo deliciosa, sino que el personal se adaptó increíblemente a nuestras preferencias dietéticas. Somos vegetarianos y se aseguraron de ofrecer una variedad de opciones que se adaptaron a nuestras necesidades. ¡Muchas gracias por eso! 5. Servicio excepcional de Folyca: Un agradecimiento especial a Folyca, la recepcionista, quien se desvivió por ayudarnos con cualquier pregunta o necesidad que tuviéramos durante nuestra estancia. Su profesionalismo y actitud servicial marcaron una gran diferencia en nuestra experiencia. 6. Habitación espaciosa y hermosa: ¡Nuestra habitación era perfecta! Era espaciosa, estaba bellamente decorada y equipada con todo lo que pudiéramos necesitar. La limpieza y la atención al detalle fueron impecables, y realmente nos sentimos como en una escapada de lujo. 7. Servicios increíbles: ¡El resort ofrece muchísimas comodidades fantásticas! Tuvimos la opción de tres piscinas, incluyendo una impresionante piscina infinita con vistas espectaculares. El parque acuático fue todo un éxito para nuestro hijo, que se lo pasó genial. También hay un centro de masajes, que fue maravillosamente relajante, y una encantadora zona de canopy para solicitar información y reservar excursiones. Ya sea que te guste el golf, relajarte en la playa o disfrutar de una deliciosa cena junto al agua, aquí hay algo para todos los gustos. 8. Cena con Danza del Fuego: Cenar en el restaurante frente a la playa del resort fue una experiencia mágica. No solo disfrutamos de comidas fantásticas, sino que también disfrutamos de un fascinante espectáculo de danza del fuego mientras cenábamos. Le dio un toque especial a la velada. 9. Personal Fantástico: Durante toda nuestra estancia, el personal se esforzó al máximo para que nuestra experiencia fuera agradable. Kent, Arvin y Susan, en especial, siempre fueron muy amables, atentos y sonrientes, incluso cuando les pedimos cenar o tomar algo a altas horas de la noche. Su hospitalidad realmente nos hizo sentir como en familia. 10. Experiencia General: No podríamos haber pedido unas vacaciones mejores. El increíble servicio del resort, las hermosas instalaciones y la amabilidad del personal hicieron de este uno de los mejores viajes que hemos tenido. Nos fuimos con el corazón lleno y recuerdos inolvidables, y todo gracias a Astoria Resort Palawan. ¡Recomiendo ampliamente este lugar a quienes buscan una escapada tranquila y de lujo en Palawan! El servicio del hotel es excelente, el personal es muy intimidad a preguntar las necesidades, todo el mundo está muy entusiasta! Los puntos de comida son muy deliciosos, el menú tiene muchas opciones, la comida recomendada por el personal es también excelente, las instalaciones son muy cómodas, muy adecuadas para sumergirse, sin sumergirse también puede disfrutar de todos los servicios y playa en el pueblo de vacaciones, un buen lugar para las vacaciones 👍

Era un hotel bastante agradable, pero el personal de recepción fue un poco impredecible: no fue tan amable a la llegada, pero fue agradable algunos días. El desayuno era fantástico, aunque el restaurante estaba demasiado frío para cenar cómodamente, pero el personal era muy agradable. La habitación era perfecta, excepto por los mosquitos. La sala recreativa era buena aquí, con mesa de billar, tenis de mesa, computadora, sala de estar, televisión y espacio de trabajo para negocios. Mientras estábamos allí, la piscina se puso verde y no estaba muy limpia. La otra cosa que no se mencionó ni se mostró en ninguna parte fue la vista al mar, una gran mancha de tierra desde el hotel hasta el mar. A la zona de la piscina le vendría bien un poco de sombra. Está en una buena ubicación para ir a la ciudad a comer, etc. Tuk Tuk es barato. Pero tiene un olor extraño/tipo agua estancada, probablemente porque estaba al lado de algún tipo de río.

Ventajas: Nuestra estancia en Piece Lio fue decente en general. La estética coincidía con las fotos en línea, y el estudio era espacioso, con un balcón con una hermosa vista a la selva tropical. Agradecí mucho el secador de pelo Dyson en la habitación, que facilitó mucho las cosas con el pelo largo. El personal fue amable, educado y atento, ¡muchas gracias! Desventajas: Había algunos pequeños detalles en la habitación, como manchas de pintura descascaradas y pequeños agujeros cerca de las persianas, que requieren atención, especialmente para un hotel relativamente nuevo. La mayor decepción fue descubrir que no hay gimnasio ni spa, a pesar de que ambos aparecen en la descripción del hotel. Puede que esto no sea un gran problema para todos, pero para nosotros sí lo fue, ya que habíamos planeado nuestro viaje para mantener nuestra rutina de ejercicio y relajación. En cambio, los huéspedes tienen acceso a las instalaciones del mismo grupo hotelero. El gimnasio y el spa se encuentran fuera del hotel, a unos 15 minutos en el pueblo. Si bien el hotel ofrece servicio de transporte gratuito desde y hacia ese lugar, el trayecto se hace mucho más largo de lo esperado debido a las carreteras de la isla. El gimnasio es pequeño, con equipo básico, y el spa, llamado Rituals Health and Spa, se sentía viejo y necesitaba una renovación. El desayuno era normalito y no nos gustó mucho. Además, fue un inconveniente porque la mayoría de los restaurantes en Lio Beach no abren hasta alrededor de las 10 a. m., lo que deja pocas opciones para madrugar. Terminamos comiendo en otro restaurante cercano del hotel, Molave, que era el único abierto a esa hora. Un miembro del personal nos dijo erróneamente que había otras opciones disponibles antes, lo que sugiere la necesidad de una mejor capacitación y comunicación. Otro problema fue con un viaje en camioneta reservado con antelación a una de las playas. Lo habíamos confirmado por WhatsApp, pero cuando bajamos, el personal no tenía constancia. Hay que reconocerles que gestionaron la situación con profesionalidad y nos ofrecieron un viaje de ida gratis para compensar las molestias. En general: El personal fue amable y servicial, pero la gerencia necesita mejorar la comunicación, la capacitación y, sobre todo, la precisión de las instalaciones que se anuncian en línea. Parece engañoso anunciar un gimnasio y un spa que no forman parte del hotel. La falta de restaurante también fue un inconveniente, sobre todo si quieres comer algo rápido sin salir del hotel. Si el hotel finalmente añadiera su propio spa y gimnasio, la experiencia sería mucho mejor. Se lo recomendamos a unos amigos para una estancia corta antes de su vuelo, pero no recomendaría reservarlo si tu prioridad es tener instalaciones de fitness y spa en un mismo lugar. En general, ¡lo devolvería si hubieran añadido las instalaciones! P. D.: ¡Hay gatos! No me gustan los gatos, así que fue un poco incómodo tenerlos abajo, en el vestíbulo.

The resort is nestled in a quiet harbour within a small village just a short distance from Puerto Galera — you can reach the town in about 10 minutes by tricycle for 50 pesos. The property sits right on the waterfront, with its courtyard opening directly onto the bay. The setting is incredibly serene, cosy and picturesque. The grounds feature plenty of relaxing spots: comfortable chairs, sun loungers and hammocks where you can unwind. We especially loved the chair near the large tree — it was the perfect place to relax! The sea near the resort is a bit murky due to local currents, so not many people swim here. However, this isn’t an issue at all, as you can quickly and affordably reach the stunning beaches of Sabang (I highly recommend La Laguna) by tricycle — or even on foot if you’re up for a walk. During low tide, you can explore the seabed right near the hotel. The resort also has a small swimming pool, and despite other guests staying there, we never had any trouble finding space to take a dip. The rooms are clean and well‑maintained, featuring a small kitchenette, stylish bathrooms and even a bathtub. We stayed on the ground floor, so we occasionally noticed small ants and once spotted a gecko — but they never caused any inconvenience. Please note that the air conditioning is rather weak, so the room might feel a bit stuffy or not quite cool enough at times. There’s both a ceiling fan and a standing fan available, though, and overall the accommodation was comfortable. The on‑site restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes for breakfast and other meals, with prices typical for a resort area. We were very pleased with the food. The staff are attentive, always smiling and eager to help. During our week‑long stay, the resort wasn’t crowded, which made for a truly relaxing experience — you really get what you came for. Occasionally, local guests can be a bit noisy, laughing loudly or singing karaoke, which might disturb your sleep or meditation. However, this is not the resort’s fault, and it’s still relatively quiet compared to other spots around Puerto Galera, such as White Beach. What could be improved: 1) Flip‑flops. It’s odd that a seaside resort doesn’t offer free flip‑flops like most similar places do — they only rent them out here. Even budget hotels usually provide this small convenience. 2) Charge for outside food. Corkage fees are normal, but charging an extra 150 pesos for any outside food is too much. Even though we weren’t charged, the mere existence of such a rule makes the resort look stingy. This rule should be removed. 3) Wi-Fi was dead almost all of the time. Don’t rely on it. Thanks to the Blue Crystal Resort for a nice stay! I highly recommend it.

This resort is best resort where I have ever been to. Staffs were really nice and kind every time. They helped us to make good memories. Complementary activities were good. We really recommend island hopping. This resort is rich in nature beauty. I will absolutely come back in near future.

Honest Review Pros: - The lady who was in charge (We think she's the manager) is really nice and helpful. - Distance: THIS WAS THE ULTIMATE DEAL. Hotel is near the beach and most of the local restaurants so we didn't experience any problem. (I recommend the cafe and 'Terminal' near the beach 😊) - AC and the room was perfect. It was really hot outside and the temp plus the room felt really homey and comfy - The hotel was really pretty or what we call aesthetic. My baby really liked the designs - Free breakfast and coffee was a good deal, but don't expect too much. - How much we got the reservation for 3d2n. Great offer from this app :) - Staff are nice especially the ones in the restaurant. Wasn't able to ask her name but she was a waiter there and also served our food (afternoon) and the guy who was at the front desk when we checked out Cons: - Service fee. I do understand that this is necessary to support the staff, but if you are on a tight budget it might be better to eat outside (sorry...) - Food was too expensive for the quality and the quantity... I recommend the chicken inasal since it had a big portion. - Room service and cleanliness - Manager said we could ask for a room service and we could just call them of we need one. We called them on our second day and we waited until our stay ended but no onr came to clean 😅 The girl who answered the phone was kinda masungit or maybe it was the tone of her voice. She told me that they are quiet busy at the moment and told me to just wait - I do understand if they're short staffed or something? But the dirt was kinda bothering us already so we just tried to clean the room on our own - Cockroaches and ants. So in connection to my previous review... Yes, there are cockroaches in the room especially the bathroom. It doesn't help that they don't clean the rooms daily. - Breakfast is not a room service. You have to go down to the restaurant and eat it there. - Room view. Our room was in the corner of the hotel. Our view was okay because we are can view the pool... And our neighbors ac unit lmao. On the plus side since the units were emitting hot air, it was easier for us to dry our towels 😂 It was really different from the picture. - Pool was kinda dirty - Overpriced goods. They have a mini store in the hotel but it would be better to pack up snacks or drinks before coming here. - OUTSIDE FOOD ARE NOT ALLOWED. Better be careful when bringing meals in the hotel. Even after listing this, we would still love to come back and stay here. I do hope they give us a better room next time 😅

We stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort. The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

Ha sido todp el personal eficiente y amable Nos dejaron haver el check-in mucho antes Llevamos 35horas viajando y estábamos agotadas Soleil Garden y Soleil Express están unidos son dos edificios pero hemos usado la piscina y buffet de Garden Maravilloso, todo muy bueno y variado de calidad Gracias, volvería sin dudarlo.
