This is not my first time here.
And will repeat more.
I like the vibes there.
However during my stay recently, found that visitor park their car in front of the room and this is not practical here. Mayb because of the new management, no one there to advice the visitor..
Thanx langit marina
I recently stayed at Hotel Tanjong Vista in Kuala Terengganu and had a mixed experience. While the location was excellent—close to eateries, laundry services, seaview room and KTCC Mall—the overall stay left much to be desired.
Unfortunately, the room had a strong smell of cigar smoke, which was quite unpleasant. The cleanliness of the room also needs improvement, as it didn’t meet the standards I expected.
As for the breakfast, it was very basic and not up to standard. There was limited variety and the quality could definitely be improved.
That said, the hotel’s strategic location is a major plus, especially for those looking to explore the city or run errands nearby.
Stayed at Raia Hotel recently. The earliest check-in I was able to get was at 2:30 PM, which was a bit later than I expected. The room was generally clean and comfortable, but there was an air leak/dripping issue from the air conditioner, which was quite inconvenient. Staff were polite and helpful, though. With a bit of maintenance improvement, it could be a much better stay.
”Glory in the Past”
Strategic location (5-7 minutes to Kampung Cina), the staffs are friendly, the aircond is cold enough, basement parking is free & view of Jambatan Angkat. Other than that, wasn't that good staying experience.
- Room smells moldy (carpet & moisture)
- The bed sheet wasn't clean
- Breakfast was just so so
Back in the day, this hotel might be awesome but now I prefer staying in boutique hotel to be fair, at least it's new & fresh
Perfect for a private and privacy inclined person. Almost like soundproof with no unnecessary noise whatsoever, I felt as though I was in my own wonderland.
The hotel could be a bit more generous with drinking water. The 2 tiny bottles aren’t enough even for the evening. Each additional bottle requested is Rm2.
The air con outlet was so filthy and looks like moulds sitting on the surfaces. The level of maintenance is poor with dirty sofa chair and tilted lampshade.
The hotel could do away with plastic flowers in the toilet if it is unable to keep it clean.
No bathtub mats available for room with shower inside bathtubs. Luckily a room change on day 2 is possible.
The hotel’s close proximity to the beach and the mall is a plus. Nice sea view from our rooms too.
Its located just beside the Terengganu Airport, it's my second time checking in this place due to the quiet and peaceful surroundings at night! Its very convenient to catch a flight and the hotel provides airport shuttle which is a plus
I stayed here once with family. Previously in apartment with 3-4 rooms. Really spacious.
This time it is studio room so don't expect it to be glamorous or stylish. It is functional room. The only downside is lack of plug. Not even plug at the bedside table. But otherwise water pressure or aircond is good. Just the hot water does not really felt hot.
My room at the top most level 9. Previously has some problem with lift. It was slow. But not having those issue during this stay. Either because lack of guest or the lifts are upgraded.
Breakfast is good as always, the spread is not that much variety but enough to fulfill morning needs.
The ultimate plus is the location opposite pantai batu burok, walking distance to hospital sultanah zahirah, stadium, akuatik centre and shopping malls like KTCC and mayang.
Parking base gelap, bastante asustado para mí. Hotel lama tapi dah di relook. Bahagian corridor ke bilik amak suram tapi so far ok je nothing eeriee happen. Desayuno tak banyak variety tapi food sedap

KKekexiaojieCoco1.

NNurHanis MrAll staff were friendly and helpful. Checked-in around 3.30pm and took about 15mins. Need to wait for a while before got the room but it’s ok since they served welcome drinks and mini tower and got sofa as well. Stayed at Bumbung room but our room didnt have the beach bag, might be forgot to put? And telephone also not working. Informed the receptionist about this and they wanted to send someone to fix but since took some time so we told no need (my brother’s room was beside us so just used his haha). food 4/5 for me. For dinner we ordered room service. Restaurant sent the menu via whatsapp and can order from there. chicken roselle so good but fried squid with mango salad was a bit meh. Since we went there during low season, bfast was ala carte but of course with unlimited order. Their teh tarik and coffee really good. Love all the food except for laksam which quite bland. They got lots of activities that can try but since we just wanted to chill so didnt try any. Just stroll around the resort. swimming pool area sooo beautiful. The view there really amazing. We also got to see the infamous peacock of Tanjong Jara. Anyway, we had good time there. Would recommend the to people who want to relax and escape from city life.
AAinun QalbWe’ve truly enjoyed our stay at Peridot. The Long Beach Villa room is beautifully decorated. The view from the room is breathtaking & it's really nice to be waking up by the sound of sea waves. Love their L'Occitane toiletries as well.
However, as the hotel is still undergoing some renovations, there are not many amenities available around the hotel. Upon checking in, we were so hungry after a long drive from SG, but the restaurant was closed at 2pm. The only options we were offered were to go to the other hotels' restaurants along the beach. The à la carte menus provided did not have much variety either. To get halal food was quite a distance from Peridot. But no choice; after freshening up, we walked along the beach and just asked around if we could have our late lunch there. Breakfast varieties were limited. For the price we paid, it could have been better. I love their chicken nuggets, though!
At night, it can be quite quiet around the area, but it was not an issue for us, as we love the quiet vibes and enjoy our peaceful nights there. The WIFI connection was really bad. So we got to use our data most of the time.
Apart from the food issue, the rooms had power trips quite frequently on our 2nd & 3rd days of our stay there.
Overall it was a great experience for us. The room is clean, and basic amenities are fulfilled.
Please note they are still in their soft launch; expect to be fully operational by March 2026. I hope I can come back by then & the facilities will be fully functional and improved.

DDr WanSutra Beach Resort is the place to just rest and relax. Even though its quite old but the management still manage to maintain it at a surprisingly good condition. The beach was quite ok except fot the rubbish from the sea. We managed to collect some and turned them into something useful.
MMuhammad Zariffuddin ZaiharinIt was a fantastic staycation—there was a large swimming pool divided into sections. I stayed in a room that did not face the sea, but it had a bathtub, which was a unique feature. My impression is that the hotel staff creates a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel could improve further by offering an affordable meal package since the restaurant is quite a distance away. Perhaps they could consider adding a convenience store inside the hotel. I hope that one day, Awana Kijal will regain its former glory!
UUsuario invitadoThe resort facilities and service overall is quite good. I love the surroundings and view of this resort. The staffs is very helpful and welcoming. Room is okay. However, for the price that i paid i think it is not worthy enough. I mean you paid almost MYR 1k for 2 nights stay in Coastal Garden room, but the amenities is below expectations. They need to improve the room looks and importantly the toilet. Overall the resort is good for families with kids.
