Everything was perfect for my trip to this resort. It was a weekend, there were a lot of people. The room faced the sea, heard the sound of the waves, the night air was cool, but unfortunately the decorative lamp outside the room was damaged, making it dark around the room. But overall everything was good.

En general, un hermoso resort en una isla camboyana. Aunque los empleados pueden ser un poco lento y inadvertida, el trabajo se hace. El desayuno está bien y la comida es bastante buena. Mi habitación era limpia y razonablemente cómoda. Si quieres ir a algún lugar y sentarse en la playa y tomar bebidas, este lugar es ideal - atmósfera tranquila, cómodas sillas de playa y mar hermoso. El resort está en una extremidad de una gran playa y puede caminar 20-30 minutos a pie a una tienda y a unos pocos establecimientos. La casa de vacaciones es una de las mejores de las que se encuentran en el hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights in January 2026 and changed two rooms — one with a sea view and one with a garden view. The rooms were amazing: spacious, clean, with fresh furniture and recent renovations. We really loved them. Huge windows and curtains controlled by a remote — it’s absolutely wonderful to open the curtains in the morning with a remote while lying in bed. Sunrise, the sea — incredibly beautiful. The staff are extremely attentive, friendly, and helpful. They literally anticipate your wishes and help with everything — from carrying suitcases to the room to inflating a large rubber mattress for the children. The restaurant is very good, with a varied menu and tasty food. Breakfast has everything: different types of eggs, pancakes, fritters, waffles, delicious juices. Essentially, all our wishes were satisfied by the restaurant. The highlight is the Surf Club — an artificial wave and the opportunity to surf, with one free hour daily for guests. My older child practically lived there and learned to stand on the board. I would also like to especially note the cleanliness of the beach. It is constantly maintained: the sand is not just leveled with rakes but actually sifted with special equipment. You won’t find a single stick, large shell, cigarette butt, or anything like that. The sand is perfectly clean, the sun loungers are good, the mattresses are clean. It’s simply a paradise. This place is wonderful not just because of its location, but because the staff make maximum effort to create comfort, cleanliness, and a truly pleasant atmosphere.

Pro: Todo es perfecto cuando nos quedamos aquí. La habitación es muy bonita y la playa es realmente maravillosa. La playa es maravillosa. La piscina también es muy bonita. La casa de baño es muy agradable, pero no es muy agradable. Contra: Nos quedamos 3 días 2 noches y en nuestro 2o día, le pedimos que nuestra habitación esté limpia. También tenemos cena en nuestro segundo día y preguntamos si podemos conseguir el agua. El restaurante no tiene agua gratuita. Sólo venden botellas de agua que tenemos que pagar. Si queremos obtener agua gratuita, tenemos que conseguirla del receptor y no del restaurante. También no ofrecen una pad femenina. Debemos comprarla fuera y es muy lejos si queremos comprarla. No hay muchas opciones de restaurante.

We dont know where to start but we did enjoyed our stays here. This place captured our heart and we wish we knew it earlier so we can come and spend at least 2 weeks here. Our room was just a few metres away from the beach and the food and service here is 5stars. They deserve a recognition for the food in the sunset restaurant and the breakfast ♥️♥️🙏🏼🙏🏼💖💖💖 We already feel emotional leaving this place, this place captured our heart and we will sure be coming back, if only we knew it earlier 🥹🥹😭😭🙏🏼🙏🏼♥️♥️

El complejo es encantador y sencillo, y ofrece un ambiente relajado y acogedor que te hace sentir como en casa. Su menú es uno de los favoritos entre los turistas, con deliciosos platos orientales y occidentales, además de refrescantes bebidas frías, batidos y licuados que puedes disfrutar en la playa o en la piscina. Uno de los aspectos más destacados es su adorable perrita, Jenny, a quien le encanta guiar a los huéspedes en una caminata de 15 minutos por la jungla hasta Lazy Beach, un hermoso y tranquilo lugar a un corto paseo del complejo. ¡Llegar allí también es muy fácil! Ofrecen servicios de recogida y regreso desde el ferry. Tomamos un ferry de alta velocidad GCTV y desembarcamos en el segundo muelle (bahía Saracen), donde el personal del complejo nos llevó rápidamente en un vehículo pequeño o incluso en un tractor, ¡fue una experiencia muy divertida! Si estás dispuesto a vivir una pequeña aventura, Sunset Beach está a unos 30 minutos a pie del complejo. El sendero es rocoso y empinado en algunas partes, así que planifica en consecuencia. Y a menos que no te importe pagar 50 dólares por el viaje de vuelta en barco, lo mejor es volver antes de que oscurezca. Las habitaciones son un poco lúgubres y pequeñas, y la ducha no es la mejor, con materiales de limpieza proporcionados de calidad mediocre. Sin embargo, el encanto general del complejo, su ambiente y los increíbles alrededores lo convierten en un gran lugar para alojarse.

Novotel Sihanoukville – My Honest Review I recently stayed at Novotel Sihanoukville with my family, and unfortunately, the overall experience was below my expectations. The first issue was the hotel's policy on outside food and drinks. There is a sign clearly stating that outside food and beverages are not allowed. However, it doesn't seem to be enforced. The corridor on my floor was constantly filled with strong food smells, and even my kids' room was affected. The smell became so unpleasant that I had to request the hotel to spray the room. I also noticed that some rooms appeared to have more than five guests staying together. I'm not sure whether the hotel allows this or whether it is being monitored properly. I strictly followed the hotel policy and booked two rooms for my family, so it felt a little unfair if others were not following the same rules. As for the food, both the seafood dinner buffet and breakfast were just average. They were acceptable, but they did not meet the standard I normally expect from an Accor hotel. The room itself was comfortable enough, but the bathroom ventilation needs improvement. Whenever someone used the toilet, the smell spread throughout the entire room because the exhaust ventilation was not effective. The biggest highlight of my stay was definitely the hotel staff. Every team member I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. From the reception team to the restaurant staff and the swimming pool bar crew, they consistently provided excellent service. They were the best part of our stay. One major disappointment was the swimming pool. The water did not look clean, and it discouraged me from swimming. This was something I really did not expect from a Novotel property. Overall, I left feeling that the hotel has good potential, especially because of its excellent staff, but the facilities and overall maintenance need improvement. With better enforcement of hotel policies, cleaner facilities, improved ventilation, and higher food quality, I believe the guest experience could be much better. Overall rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Outstanding Luxury Experience – New Year Celebration (31 Dec 2025 – 1 Jan 2026) I stayed at this hotel to celebrate New Year from 31 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome from all the staff. Every team member was extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating, making us feel valued and comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel truly feels like a palace. Based on my personal experience, it is much better and more luxurious than Sokha Sihanouk Hotel and Independence Hotel, where I usually stay. It even offers the same level or more luxury than Try Palace in Kep. Every detail reflects quality—from the door handles to the bed, everything feels premium and well-designed. All facilities and equipment are modern, luxurious, and very clean. The room was spacious, with a huge bathroom, including a separate bathtub, shower/steam room, and toilet, which made the stay even more comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was the generosity: • Soft drinks and fresh fruits were plentiful and completely free • The breakfast for special for the New Year celebration, breakfast manu • They even offered free breakfast for my two children, even though they were over the usual free age limit — a very kind gesture The location is perfect, with what I believe is the best beach in Sihanoukville. The sand is incredibly clean, smooth, and soft—like ground powder—and the beach area is well maintained. I accidentally took their room key, the hotel staff were extremely understanding. They were not upset at all and kindly allowed me to return it on my next visit to Sihanoukville, which shows their trust and professionalism. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. It is far more luxurious than Sokha and Independence Hotel, and easily ranks among the best luxury hotels I have stayed at in Cambodia. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a true luxury experience, especially for special celebrations

La bienvenida de Lyhour fue pésima. Tardó 48 horas, incluso con amenazas de quejarnos a Tripadvisor, en arreglar la estufa. La lavadora tenía fugas por todas partes. Tuvimos que solucionarlo nosotros mismos. El alojamiento estaba muy sucio (ver foto) y plagado de chinches (ver fotos), por lo que decidimos cambiar de alojamiento durante los dos días que estuvimos en Sihanoukville. Una experiencia que no repetiremos.
