I used this hotel as a stop off location, the 24hr check in desk came in real handy as I arrived at 2am. Room was clean, no issues with noise and a good set of amenities. Staff were kind and professional, nice stay overall. Will definitely pop by again, hopefully I'll have more time to use the fitness suite. The only thing that bugged me was the pay for parking which I didn't realise, so i paid £7 for parking at the reception when i arrived. Come morning, I've packed up, walked to the car, and gone to leave and the gate states I need to pay £12 to leave. I have to then reverse from the barrier before anyone else comes, park back up and walk back to the reception for them to tell me it's a glitch and that it doesn't sync up sometimes, this just added to an already tight turnaround timings wise. Hopefully they get this fixed.

Great location. A very nice spa. The hotel room is unfortunately quite old, the shower was cold, the bed was uncomfortable and the walls are very thin making it hard to sleep.

We booked a room for 3, which came with a King bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed is one of the worst bed I have ever slept on. You virtually could feel the spring cracking whenever you move.  I have to let my parents sleep on the king bed.  The room assigned was right at the end of the building. Hotel guests uses that exit door to get to the carpark. Each time a guest uses the exit, the corridor floor “crack” and follow by the door slamming shut. Just too noisy and affected our sleep. Otherwise, it would have been a wonderful stay. Hotel should strength the floor and add a soft close mechanism to the door.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for my 60th birthday. With my daughter. The views are breathtaking and the hotel its self . Great location the staff are very welcoming and courteous. There is lots of parking , unfortunately we did not get a chance to use the spa facilities. Our only negative thing was our room although lovely the carpet had a few stains on it and our windows did not open easily , and the entrance hall to our room was very dirty we had been given a room in the grounds outside of the hotel and for the cost of our stay we were very disappointed after seeing such elegance,with the main Hotel and the lobby etc . We had also been given a room with a bathroom that was more suited to someone who needed more support and although there was nothing wrong with that , it would of been nice to have had a choice of a bath as well and we felt someone else might have benefited more with this set up on their stay.

Easy to check in and out. Plenty of parking and very clean. Had a room on ground floor and could hear a dog barking so not sure where that came from but it didn’t really bother us (odd bark at night and in morning). Really good that price includes pool and sauna etc. would definitely stay again for the price paid. We didn’t eat there as just slept there whilst visiting family nearby. Quality fittings and comfy beds and decor, much better than a lot of places around the area!

We were disappointed on arrival to find that we had been allocated a standard room, instead of the Opulent one we had booked through trip. The receptionist was very nice but wasn’t able to give us the room we booked as there wasn’t one available. She gave us a slightly better room which was ok but looked like it was ready for a refresh. We needed to call reception as there wasn’t no hair dryer in the room but there was no instructions for using the phone, when we worked it out there was then no answer! We then needed reception again later as our neighbours were playing really really loud music, again no answer. Besides this, the hotel was very nice, the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced, the pool was nice and the breakfast was good. We would stay there again but book direct.

The room was amazing with a great view and very clean and spacious. The spa wasn't very attentive and forgot to change the time of our afternoon tea and there wasn't staff around to answer queries, that said the spa was enjoyable when they finally switched the steam on! The afternoon tea was amazing and the staff were brilliant there... The fight between 2 men in the evening spoiled the stay as the staff were unaware and I had to ask for security to calm it down.. it was then taken outside but upsetting to see grow men getting hit hard in the face! Not what we expected for our relaxing day at such a beautiful hotel!

We stayed here for Badminton Horse trials and had a great time! The staff were very friendly and helpful from start to finish. The breakfast was nice and there was a wide range of food available. We had dinner there every night as well which was lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Sólo nos quedamos aquí como base para salir y explorar Gloucester. La cama estaba cómoda y la habitación estaba bien.El baño estaba agradable y la mejor parte de la habitación.La habitación estaba absolutamente cocinada, no había aire acondicionado (que no era un gran problema para nosotros), Pero el radiador estaba encima aunque el dial estaba en cero.Aunque la ventana estaba abierta, era demasiado caliente en la habitación.El spa estaba bien, la piscina no estaba muy caliente y el jacuzzi no estaba realmente apagar burbujas. El hotel está muy bien situado para visitar Gloucester y los cuadros son un hermoso lugar para visitar.No nos quedaremos en el hotel otra vez, pero hicimos el trabajo por lo que necesitamos.
