the namoo hotel is located near the zoo, national museum, and the cheongju park. Although it is located on the mountainside, there is a bus route 863 to downtown as well as jikji museum, so it is not as inconvenient as I once expected. however, it is very far from railway station and intercity express bus terminal. the hotel is cosy, and room is very comfortable, with helpful staff. it is a very quiet and relaxing place.

Elderly woman who manned the front desk ruined the hotel experience for me. Although i had booked online, she said that she was not told of my reservation and said i had to contact the owner on my own. When i said that I was unable to make calls from my phone, she refused to lend me her phone and also did not want to help me locate the korea tourism agency for assistance. Was unwilling to help call a taxi either. Eventually, she relented and when contacted, the owner confirmed my reservation. When i returned at 4pm, there was again a checkin delay and she had to call the owner to ask which room I should be given. It was a harrowing and haphazard experience. When the lady boss finally arrived back at night, the lady boss was nice and pleasant, but the experience had already been ruined.

Loved the private car parking included. Loved the pleasant, responsive host/owner. Stayed 2 nights and staff topped up our supplies, towels and emptied our bin. Our room was spacious. The rooms seem separated by thin walls only and we could hear the next door neighbours late at night. Enjoyed the free coffee near the reception desk. From the photos of the room on the website, however, we expected to be able to cook in our room.....stove top shown in the photos. But the hotplates were not plugged in, nor were there any cooking utensils, pots or pans, cutlery, plates etc. This was disappointing and the hotplates should not be shown in the photos of the room as it isisleading. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this Hotel which has a great location on the waterfront.

I have been staying at this hotel for a few years when I travel to South Korea. The Enford use to be the Grand Plaza. Enford seemed to have made several updates to the hotel. One of the things that was attractive about the Enford was a grocery store in the basement. Unfortunately, the store went bankrupt and closed during my last trip. Rooms are nice. Very clean. The HVAC system is a wonky, but nothing that would cause any issues. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Same with convenience stores. The breakfast is great. Plenty of options and the food quality is good. Laundry service collects up to three times a day.

Estoy muy corto en mi viaje. Llegué tarde al albergue. El personal estaba bien dirigido y amigable. Era demasiado oscuro para conocer el día. El día siguiente, la vista del albergue con un lago fue tan buena. Pasé por la habitación por la mañana, dejando una lástima por mi corto estadía. Creo que quiero volver.

De repente, en un viaje de negocios a Cheongju, tuve un albergue, pero estaba tan satisfecho y me descansaba. The service is really nice, at first I was wondering why the air conditioner was not working well. The staff came with me back to my room and helped me fixed it. It’s working well. Unfortunately I spot a small stink on one the towel in the bathroom and one on the bedsheet. Other than that I’m satisfied with this experience. It’s very close to the bus station and plenty restaurants in the neighborhood. I would recommend this hotel to my friends who wants to visit.

Its enough for two nights in Cheongju. The rooms are small but they have laundry machine and a small kitchen in the rooms.
