Stayed 2 nights at Richmond Hotel Morioka and had a very comfortable stay ✨ The room was spacious, and the bed and pillows were comfortable for a good night’s rest. I also loved that the bathtub was long enough to relax comfortably even for my height. Convenient location near Morioka Station, making it easy for sightseeing and train travel 🏨🚄

We were two people staying 3 nights. We had breakfast and we were very happy with it (6:30-10:00, L.O 9:30). It didn’t change much during the stay, but it had a lot of options and it tasted good. The room was small. If you have suitcase it will be hard to open it up. We didn’t have suitcases, so for us it was no problem. The bed and pillows were comfortable. They have a manga library and coffe machine (15:00-22:00), and space with tables and chairs where you can e.g eat. They have laundry as well (10:00-22:00). It was cheep (washing 400 yen 30 min, dryer 100 yen 10 min). It was a standing washing machine (which I don’t really like) and we had a lot of laundry, so we went to another coin laundry 1 min walk from the hotel, which was good (washing 15 kg 30 min 800 yen, drying 10 min 100 yen). We didn’t use room cleaning, but every day we got a bag of towels on our door knob. It is around 10-15 min walk to the station. But it’s close to shopping streets and Iwaki park. It has a lot of restaurants close by. If you like all-you-can-drink there’s a lot of options close by as well. After check out we left our baggage for a couple of hours. It was no problem. The people at the hotel were very nice and polite. Overall we had a very nice stay at this hotel.

Stunning location! Walked into the lobby and was floored by panoramic views of the cape. The hotel isn't modern or new, but it's well-maintained. Stayed in the tatami room and it's extremely spacious. Opt for the dinner buffet as there aren't lots of dining options unless you drive. Breakfast was full of Western and Japanese options. Oiishi!

Toyoko Inn well known as one of big chain Hotel in Japan among others. This is my first time to stay at Toyoko Inn and I am happy! Despite I still confused how to go there from Morioka Station (we need to going down from underground and there is a lot tunnel 😭) The building was closed to everywhere. Food was great! And they clean my room on day 2 (I thoughts they only clean on day 4) and i wasn’t prepare it so my room completely messed up. Sorry! T

El mejor esquí en y fuera y el hotel Onsen en Japón hasta ahora! El hotel nos encantó tanto en Oct 2025, así que rebookamos y volvimos de Dec 20-24, 2025. 1. Muy conveniente para la experiencia de esquí. Esquí en y esquí fuera. El alquiler de esquí y la escuela de esquí están justo al lado del hotel. Buena experiencia para alquilar y alquilar coches. 2. El desayuno y los bufetes de cena son grandes y tan astuto! El alimento cambia cada noche para darle variación diversificada para elegir. Preparaciones de comida muy delicadas por grandes cocineros así que no te preocupes nunca se cansará. 3. ¡La piscina de primavera caliente es muy grande! 4. El primer piso de la zona de relajación es grande! El hotel está muy bien situado y se encuentra en el centro de la ciudad. El piso 6.3 está renovado, así que los pls probar esta hermosa habitación la próxima vez! ¡Muy recomendable!!

Nice hotel just a few minutes’ walk from Morioka Station. Room was spacious and clean, the facilities were also quite new. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the complimentary drinks at the lounge.

We had a pleasant stay in general. However, room ceaning service needs to be improved. Our group of people have a few bad experiences. 1) after returning to room after the day, there was a used mask left in the bathroom. There’s also a day without providing onsen towels and we had to bring over the mid size ones 2) the door of my friend’s room remained open after the cleaning service (a 3M sticker with なすし2 sticked on wall). Glad there’s no missing items 3) another room, there was blood and urine stint left on the toilet cover! I hope the hotel can take it seriously as it indeed ruins the brand of IHG and bad customer experience.

This hotel is really out-of-the-way; I'd recommend driving. It's mainly a place to go if you want to ski, as it's by a ski resort. I found the area to be very quiet. The hotel food was excellent, though you'll need some level of Japanese proficiency to effectively communicate with the staff. You can enjoy a bath in your room, or the hot springs downstairs. Overall quite nice, the rooms have a cottage feel.

En las vacaciones en Japón, con JR paseo (viajando por tren), la ubicación no es tan lejana de la estación de tren (1.3 km - 10 - 15 minutos a pie, fácil para mí) pero no hay transporte público.
