I had a wonderful stay here. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and relaxing environment after a long day of traveling. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would gladly stay here again in the future.

Las dos habitaciones que habíamos reservado eran con ducha, pero las que nos asignaron no la tenían. Al ser un hotel con aguas termales, no utilizamos la ducha y solo nos percatamos de este detalle al día siguiente, justo antes de hacer el check-out. La cena fue bastante normalita y el desayuno mucho peor. El entorno es agradable.

Está a 10 minutos a pie de la estación de Morioka y a 15-20 minutos a pie de la estación de autobuses de Morioka. La ubicación es excelente, con una animada calle comercial justo al lado. Aunque el hotel no es nuevo, cuenta con instalaciones completas. Además de la zona de baño, también hay servicio de bebidas gratuito. La habitación está limpia y ordenada, con suficientes provisiones. El desayuno es el mejor, muy completo, con todo tipo de alimentos, y la relación calidad-precio es excelente. Recomiendo este hotel.

Stunning location! Walked into the lobby and was floored by panoramic views of the cape. The hotel isn't modern or new, but it's well-maintained. Stayed in the tatami room and it's extremely spacious. Opt for the dinner buffet as there aren't lots of dining options unless you drive. Breakfast was full of Western and Japanese options. Oiishi!

Toyoko Inn well known as one of big chain Hotel in Japan among others. This is my first time to stay at Toyoko Inn and I am happy! Despite I still confused how to go there from Morioka Station (we need to going down from underground and there is a lot tunnel 😭) The building was closed to everywhere. Food was great! And they clean my room on day 2 (I thoughts they only clean on day 4) and i wasn’t prepare it so my room completely messed up. Sorry! T

The best ski in and ski out and Onsen hotel in Japan so far! We loved the hotel so much in Oct 2025 so we rebooked and came again from Dec 20-24, 2025. 1. Very convenient for ski experience. Ski in and ski out. Ski rental and ski coach school are just besides hotel. Good experience for rentals and coaches hiring. 2. Breakfast and dinner buffets are great and so yummy! The food does change every night to give you diversified variation to choose from. Very delicate food preparations by great chefs so don’t worry you will never get bored. 3. Onsen is also great great great! Great view and women and men get alternate the hot spring pool everyday. 4. First floor relaxing area is great great! You have self service bar of juice / soda / coffee and popsicles. 5. The hotel staffs are so nice and make you feel at home. Motoyo-San is extremely friendly and her English is so fluent!!! We were very lucky to have her help out during our stay. 6. 3rd floor is newly renovated so pls try this beautiful room next time! Highly recommend!!!! Great for family and couple trips!

The onsen is nice. The pool is clean, and amenities are abundant. While the price is rather low, the location and service, and breakfast was so amazing. From miso soup to soba noodles, the food represents the area, Iwate County, in a delicate and satisfying way. The food is so beautiful. My mouth is watering while writing this. I will definitely stay here next time when visiting Morioka. Grids hotel is just a memorable hidden jem.

We had a pleasant stay in general. However, room ceaning service needs to be improved. Our group of people have a few bad experiences. 1) after returning to room after the day, there was a used mask left in the bathroom. There’s also a day without providing onsen towels and we had to bring over the mid size ones 2) the door of my friend’s room remained open after the cleaning service (a 3M sticker with なすし2 sticked on wall). Glad there’s no missing items 3) another room, there was blood and urine stint left on the toilet cover! I hope the hotel can take it seriously as it indeed ruins the brand of IHG and bad customer experience.

El hotel está situado en la parte superior de la pequeña colina, a pocos minutos a pie de la estación de tren de Sanriku Tetsudo Horinai, que es un buen tren de escena. El hotel está muy bien situado en el centro de la ciudad, pero el hotel está muy bien situado en el centro de la ciudad. La mayoría de las habitaciones pueden ver directamente el océano a través del balcón, disfruté de un sorprendente ascenso del océano Pacífico, los ojos semi-exteriores también tienen la misma vista océano, maravilloso. La comida puede ser proporcionada, precio razonable y buena calidad, usted tiene que preordenar comida mientras se ingresa. La habitación era muy agradable y me gustaba la habitación.

This hotel is really out-of-the-way; I'd recommend driving. It's mainly a place to go if you want to ski, as it's by a ski resort. I found the area to be very quiet. The hotel food was excellent, though you'll need some level of Japanese proficiency to effectively communicate with the staff. You can enjoy a bath in your room, or the hot springs downstairs. Overall quite nice, the rooms have a cottage feel.
