Before we even arrived, the team had already contacted us and seamlessly arranged our airport transfer and pickup to the accommodation, which immediately set the tone for an exceptional stay. Accommodation: The accommodation itself exceeds a 5-star hotel standard. From the moment you enter the room, it is clear that every element has been carefully considered. The design, attention to detail, and overall comfort reflect the work of a top-tier designer. As designers ourselves, we truly appreciated the thoughtful colour schemes, lighting choices, and smart conveniences throughout the space. Features such as the fully automatic toilet, comfortable shower, and stylish humidifier added to the sense of luxury and refinement. It is this meticulous attention to detail that truly sets this accommodation apart from others. Location: Located in Yuhu Village, a charming Naxi village, the setting is both authentic and peaceful. The village atmosphere, friendly locals, and lovely coffee shops and bakeries make it a joy to explore. A particular highlight is the close-up view of Yulong Snow Mountain, which adds a breathtaking natural backdrop to the entire experience. Customer Service & Staff: The customer service was outstanding. We received thoughtful, personalised tips and guidance to make our stay in Lijiang as enjoyable as possible—far from generic recommendations, the suggestions were clearly tailored to our personal interests and needs. The staff are exceptionally warm, friendly, and generous, and they genuinely make you feel welcome. It is evident that they love what they do, and that passion translates into an atmosphere where guests truly feel valued. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. We were deeply touched by the manager’s generosity and thoughtful parting gifts. La habitación era espaciosa y muy limpia. Todas las instalaciones de un hotel recién inaugurado son nuevas. El ambiente es muy bueno. Puedes ver las montañas nevadas desde la habitación del hotel. Está muy cerca de la ciudad antigua de Baisha y es conveniente para viajar. ¡Uno de los mejores B&B en los que me he alojado! ! ! Si un amigo viene a Lijiang, definitivamente lo intentará. El jefe y el personal de servicio son muy considerados. Salieron a saludarnos cuando llegamos y nos guiaron para que nos detuviéramos y nos ayudaran a cargar nuestro equipaje (incluso si había niños que pudieran cargar nuestro equipaje). Si regresas muy tarde por la noche, dejarás una luz en la recepción y dejarás la puerta abierta con antelación. I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

This is hands-down one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in. The location is great - at the base of Jade Dragon Mountain and close to Yuhu and Baisha villages. The interior is clean, modern and tastefully decorated, and they offer complimentary activities such as horse-riding, plant foraging, craft activities and even a visit to a Naxi family. However, what stands out most were the staff who always went the extra mile. They were warm and genuine and made our stay truly unforgettable.

A hidden gem in the Yunnan countryside, absolute highlight of our trip This place is a little paradise. A beautiful farm stay surrounded by lush greenery, with one of the best views of the snowy mountain we saw on our entire trip. The kind of place you didn’t know you needed until you’re there. The animals on the farm are a lovely touch, and special shoutout to Dou Mi the dog, who basically adopted us and gave us a personal tour. An absolute sweetheart. What really sets this place apart is the staff. Jason the manager speaks excellent English and went above and beyond with recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. When we accidentally left our phone in a Didi, one of the team helped us track it down and we were so relieved and grateful. Little things like the WeChat group for communication, reminders for breakfast time, and even offering a breakfast takeaway bag for early departures show just how thoughtful and attentive everyone is. The location is perfect too, a 10-minute walk from the old town but peaceful and quiet at night. Falling asleep to the sound of the stream nearby was genuinely one of the best sleeps of the trip. The only tiny suggestion I’d make is a small welcome fruit basket or drink on arrival, something a few other local guesthouses do and it’s always a warm touch. But it’s absolutely not mandatory and didn’t affect our experience at all. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% return.

You must communicate with the team via wechat before your trip, they will need details for you to enter the premises (within the attraction) for free. THE FREE PASS TO THE SNOW MOUNTAIN that is provided by the accommodation is NOT the same ticket to go up the snow mountain. To go up the snow mountain, you need to book your tickets at least 5 days in advance, and it is NOT included in your stay. We had a free upgrade, compliments to the team, really appreciated it. Everything was great, amenities were good, thou the shampoo made my hair dry. Water heater and pressure were good too. The activities provided by the accommodation were sufficient to keep you occupied for the entire day. There are no shops around, so pack what you need for the stay. Staff were hospitable, accommodating, friendly and approachable. Always contactable.

Honestly, I rarely post reviews—but this time I really felt like I had to, because this hotel was the highlight of my family trip to Yunnan. From the moment we entered the hotel gate, we were already amazed. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff member who communicated with us via WeChat was incredibly helpful—from arranging our transfer from the station to the hotel, to accommodating my dietary restrictions as a Muslim. They kindly prepared a special breakfast for us: rice noodles with egg, along with sweet potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs. What made it even more special was that everything was cooked by a very warm grandmother. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel the warmth and love in her cooking. The cabin we booked was absolutely perfect. It had a spacious yard, a hot tub, and a terrace with a table and chairs—great for dining or simply spending time together with family. Stepping inside the cabin was even more impressive: a large bed, lots of natural light, and equipped with smart home devices. One important detail for us was the bathroom—it had a bidet and a fully smart toilet with remote control. Since the temperature in Lijiang varies greatly between day and night, we were very grateful that the cabin had both floor heating and room heating. The bedroom also featured a large projector, and above it, a sunroof that can be opened—perfect for stargazing at night. It truly exceeded all our expectations. The hotel area is also next to a very aesthetic café with a stunning view called Yuntian Cafe. For those traveling with family, this place is perfect—the area is spacious and great for kids to explore nature. If you want to go out for meals, Baisha Ancient Town is just a few kilometers away. What I will remember the most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, always doing their best to accommodate every request. Please never change—your hospitality feels just like being with family. Next time we visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at 望山雪 Hotel. The view from our balcony was absolutely amazing — exactly as shown in the listing photos, if not even better in person. Waking up to that scenery every day was such a highlight of the trip. The room itself was very impressive as well. The features and amenities felt modern, advanced, and thoughtfully designed, making our stay extremely comfortable and convenient. What truly made this stay special, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was sincere, warm, and genuinely helpful. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for both beautiful views and heartfelt service.
