Honestly, this has been one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at so far! I can’t really comment much on the location because we honestly didn’t have to think about it—the hotel provides a private car to take us around, which made everything so easy and comfortable. The experience itself is amazing. There are SO many activities included that we were actually confused about which one to try first! The room was beautiful, with an incredible direct view of the Snow Mountain. Waking up to that view was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. They also provide unlimited drinks, alcohol, fruits, and so many thoughtful little extras throughout the stay. But honestly, it’s not just about the unlimited drinks 😆—the whole experience, service, activities, room, and attention to detail were exceptional. My only regret is that we stayed for just one night. I definitely think 2–3 nights would be perfect to really enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. Perfect in every way. One of my favorite stays in Lijiang and absolutely recommended!

Before we even arrived, the team had already contacted us and seamlessly arranged our airport transfer and pickup to the accommodation, which immediately set the tone for an exceptional stay. Accommodation: The accommodation itself exceeds a 5-star hotel standard. From the moment you enter the room, it is clear that every element has been carefully considered. The design, attention to detail, and overall comfort reflect the work of a top-tier designer. As designers ourselves, we truly appreciated the thoughtful colour schemes, lighting choices, and smart conveniences throughout the space. Features such as the fully automatic toilet, comfortable shower, and stylish humidifier added to the sense of luxury and refinement. It is this meticulous attention to detail that truly sets this accommodation apart from others. Location: Located in Yuhu Village, a charming Naxi village, the setting is both authentic and peaceful. The village atmosphere, friendly locals, and lovely coffee shops and bakeries make it a joy to explore. A particular highlight is the close-up view of Yulong Snow Mountain, which adds a breathtaking natural backdrop to the entire experience. Customer Service & Staff: The customer service was outstanding. We received thoughtful, personalised tips and guidance to make our stay in Lijiang as enjoyable as possible—far from generic recommendations, the suggestions were clearly tailored to our personal interests and needs. The staff are exceptionally warm, friendly, and generous, and they genuinely make you feel welcome. It is evident that they love what they do, and that passion translates into an atmosphere where guests truly feel valued. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. We were deeply touched by the manager’s generosity and thoughtful parting gifts. 這次入住體驗直接超出預期，絕對是白沙古鎮寶藏民宿！最滿意的就是地理位置，距離白沙古鎮步行幾分鐘即可到達，位置絕佳。遊玩出行特別方便，不用繞路奔波，既能沉浸式感受古鎮的慢生活，又能獨享民宿的安靜靜謐，太適合度假放鬆了。 服務方面必須誇爆！老闆和工作人員都超級熱情隨和，待人真誠不套路。入住、退房全程高效省心，不僅可以幫忙寄存行李，還會貼心提醒當地天氣和遊玩注意事項，有需求都能及時解決，服務細緻又周到，讓人感覺像在家一樣放鬆自在。 房間衞生標準超高，整體乾淨透亮、整潔清爽。床品、浴巾都是乾淨乾爽的，地面、桌面、衞浴無死角清潔，沒有任何異味和灰塵，用品擺放整齊有序，乾淨程度遠超同價位民宿，住着特別舒心放心。 環境景色真的無可挑剔，民宿整體是治癒的納西庭院風格，環境清幽雅緻。房前屋後視野無遮擋，抬頭就是絕美雪山景緻，白天看藍天白雲配雪山，傍晚看温柔落日，安靜又治癒，超級解壓。 屋內設施齊全且維護得很好，傢俱家電嶄新好用，隔音效果也不錯，晚上特別安靜。公共區域佈置得很有氛圍感，適合喝茶發呆、拍照休息。整體設施完善、環境舒適、服務貼心，不管是獨自旅行還是結伴出遊都很合適，強烈推薦給來白沙古鎮的朋友！ 最後啥也不多説了 看實拍照片吧 真的夯爆了！

I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

A hidden gem in the Yunnan countryside, absolute highlight of our trip This place is a little paradise. A beautiful farm stay surrounded by lush greenery, with one of the best views of the snowy mountain we saw on our entire trip. The kind of place you didn’t know you needed until you’re there. The animals on the farm are a lovely touch, and special shoutout to Dou Mi the dog, who basically adopted us and gave us a personal tour. An absolute sweetheart. What really sets this place apart is the staff. Jason the manager speaks excellent English and went above and beyond with recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. When we accidentally left our phone in a Didi, one of the team helped us track it down and we were so relieved and grateful. Little things like the WeChat group for communication, reminders for breakfast time, and even offering a breakfast takeaway bag for early departures show just how thoughtful and attentive everyone is. The location is perfect too, a 10-minute walk from the old town but peaceful and quiet at night. Falling asleep to the sound of the stream nearby was genuinely one of the best sleeps of the trip. The only tiny suggestion I’d make is a small welcome fruit basket or drink on arrival, something a few other local guesthouses do and it’s always a warm touch. But it’s absolutely not mandatory and didn’t affect our experience at all. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% return.

Me alojé aquí dos noches. La ubicación es excelente, a solo 100 metros de la entrada de los murales de Baisha en el casco antiguo. Hay un amplio aparcamiento gratuito para los huéspedes en la planta baja. Justo al lado hay un Miniso y un KFC, y en la planta baja del B&B hay tiendas de snacks, una farmacia e incluso tanques de oxígeno disponibles. Tienen un gran patio desde donde se pueden disfrutar las vistas rurales. La habitación es espaciosa, con nevera, y las zapatillas y cepillos de dientes son de buena calidad. El baño tiene ducha y WC separados. Para el desayuno, ofrecen fideos de arroz, huevos y bollos al vapor. Los dueños son muy amables y atentos. En el segundo piso hay un lugar especial para fotos y en el tercer piso una terraza desde donde se puede ver directamente la Montaña Nevada del Dragón de Jade. Lástima que, debido a la temporada de lluvias, la montaña no se dejó ver.

We enjoyed our stay at Taohuawu, and it was quite magical to get out of town and have a stay grounded in nature. We experienced a little hiccup with our horse ride booking, and were left stranded for a little while - before realising we had to go hassle the staff to be looked after. The grounds are wide and open, so the staff might be stretched thin, looking after each guests. Not one to have my phone with me at all time on holidays, but a lot is happening on the hotel's wechat group, and best keeping an eye on the updates and experiences info sent throughout the day, if you don't want to miss out. The view from the mountain cafe (and there coffee/snacks) were superb. We did end up going for the horse ride later that day, but being advanced riders, we're left wanting a little more. Would be an amazing spot if they had an experienced professional going for day rides around the area. Nice stop on our way to ShangriLa tho

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at 望山雪 Hotel. The view from our balcony was absolutely amazing — exactly as shown in the listing photos, if not even better in person. Waking up to that scenery every day was such a highlight of the trip. The room itself was very impressive as well. The features and amenities felt modern, advanced, and thoughtfully designed, making our stay extremely comfortable and convenient. What truly made this stay special, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was sincere, warm, and genuinely helpful. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for both beautiful views and heartfelt service.
