Our stay at Casa Nguluko was excellent in every way with as it combined luxury with authentic local culture. Each detail at the hotel was carefully considered, creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere that felt like a true retreat. What made our experience exceptional was the warm hospitality of the host and owner. She took time to personally guide us on walks around the village and shared her deep knowledge of Naxi culture, making our trip so much more meaningful. The hotel also has a unique connection to her family home, which gave us the rare opportunity to meet family members and connect authentically with village life. The food here was excellent—breakfast, in particular, was a highlight. The staff were always attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed. Thanks for the good memories. My aunty and uncle who stayed here as part of their first trip to China are still talking about this place. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Manqiwan Homestay in Lijiang. The environment is peaceful, beautiful, and very relaxing. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, giving a very cozy feeling throughout the stay. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore Lijiang Old Town while still enjoying a quiet and calm atmosphere. What impressed me the most was the warm hospitality from the host. They were very friendly, helpful, and made us feel truly welcome. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and the beautiful surroundings was such a memorable experience. If you are visiting Lijiang and looking for a charming and comfortable place to stay, I highly recommend Manqiwan Homestay. Definitely a place I would love to come back again!

Took a gamble on this relatively new homestay cos of the Yulong Mountain view and stargazing spot. Exterior's a bit misleading – looks like an abandoned road at first, but drove in and was surprised! 😄 Resident dog greeted us at the door, and a sweet couple helped with luggage and check-in. 小刘 took us on a room tour and explained everything so kindly. Place is built with attention to detail – loved the sterilised, individually packed amenities, hot water purifier, and washer/dryer in the room. Breakfast, hi-tea, and goodnight tea were all on point, plus self-heating floor, purifier, and oxygen machine 💪. 小刘 went above and beyond, even helped with fireworks purchase and setup. Really satisfied with the room and overall stay 👍

Review from Malaysian - worth every penny! 1. First and foremost, this place is a true definition of luxury. It's architecture and design is really well thought off with a dedicated private courtyard. Their common space has different section, giving you choices on where and what you would like to experience. Its interior spells luxury in every corner. They even have a fireplace which is actually a humidifier - very important for a cold place. 2. Secondly, as its name. It is the most carefree holiday we had, where everything is well prepared and well planned. 3. Last but not least, the hospitality.! Its owners are always around. We have multiple conversations beside the fireplace (legit fireplace) and when we depart, the most touching words was said - ”call us if there is anything as we are local people, we can help you” Totally recommend to stay here, true definition of ”atas”.

Este hotel en Lijiang, al entrar, te recibe con un enorme césped justo frente a la Montaña Nevada del Dragón de Jade. Por las mañanas, sentarse en el césped para ver el sol dorado iluminar la cima de la montaña nevada es una experiencia tan hermosa que te deja sin palabras; cualquier foto que tomes parece sacada de una revista. La habitación es súper espaciosa, con un ventanal de suelo a techo que enmarca completamente la vista de la montaña nevada. Por la tarde, acurrucarse en la mecedora, bebiendo té y contemplando la montaña, es tan agradable que no querrás moverte. El diseño combina modernidad con el estilo Naxi, y por las noches, la chimenea es perfecta para calentarse. Además, es muy fácil llegar al casco antiguo de Baisha; está a solo unos minutos a pie. Puedes disfrutar del bullicio del pueblo y luego regresar a la tranquilidad del hotel. La ubicación es fantástica. Lo recomiendo de verdad. Si quieres ver la montaña nevada y relajarte en el césped, este es el lugar. ¡Definitivamente volveré!

This is a place that only exists in dreams. Snow mountains, huge green grasslands and adorable animals everywhere -the scenery was truly unforgettable. I fell in love with this place the moment I arrived. For people who are always busy and stressed with daily life, I highly recommend staying here. It is the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe and feel peaceful again. The whole environment is calm, quiet and very healing. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is also very convenient, very near to Baisha Ancient Town and they even provide free shuttle service. One of my favourite stays in Yunnan and I would love to come back again someday.

The service and the acivities are superb. The overall is good. The hotel is sitting at the middle of mountain which is quite and peacful. Moreover the hotel cafe is amost at the top of mountian so you will get a stunning view The down side is 1.The view from the balcony I booked is not as advertised (I pay extra for this view, see the picture on trip) and is also nearby the cemetry ( I would perfer to stay in the room at the opposite site) 2. The hot water is not stable as it was too hot , hot, just rigth, cold, and too cold. It happens like this when we are showering

¡Absolutamente increíble! La experiencia fue inmejorable desde el momento del check-in. Nos recogieron en la ciudad vieja y nos llevaron al hotel en un coche privado. La vista desde la habitación era espectacular, con ventanales de suelo a techo que daban directamente a la montaña nevada y al casco antiguo, tanto de frente como a la derecha. El servicio fue impecable en todos los sentidos, con té de la tarde, sopa de buenas noches y desayuno, todo incluido. Además, tenían KTV y un gimnasio. Pero lo más destacado fue que el dueño montó una tienda de campaña en el patio y nos invitó a hacer una barbacoa juntos. Estaba lloviendo a cántaros y nos sentamos alrededor del fuego, ¡creando un ambiente y un sentimiento de destino absolutamente mágicos! ¡Es lo mejor de lo mejor, totalmente recomendado!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at 望山雪 Hotel. The view from our balcony was absolutely amazing — exactly as shown in the listing photos, if not even better in person. Waking up to that scenery every day was such a highlight of the trip. The room itself was very impressive as well. The features and amenities felt modern, advanced, and thoughtfully designed, making our stay extremely comfortable and convenient. What truly made this stay special, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was sincere, warm, and genuinely helpful. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for both beautiful views and heartfelt service.
