A really comfortable hotel room in Takayama. The room is big and clean. The bed is really comfortable. It’s a short walk from Takayama Station and the old town making it a great location. The hotel is quite strict about the 3pm checkin (which I’m usually okay with). I stored my luggage and returned to the hotel later and there was quite a bit line of people waiting to checkin. For me, if the rooms are ready and the guests are a little bit early it doesn’t make sense to be so strict about the 3pm checkin. It creates inconvenience for the guests and a stressful time period for the staff. They moved as fast as they could but it could be improved. It’s disappointing to see another Japanese hotel enforce rules just for the sake of enforcing them rather than logically think about the situation. Also, when informed about the baths, I asked if I could use them with a tattoo and I got a vague answer which didn’t answer my question. I ended up using a public bath at a neighboring facility. I respect Japanese culture but it would be better if staff could give a clear answer rather than feel awkward about a tattoo question. It is 2025 after all. The hotel breakfast was decent but it’s extremely crowded with limited seating. I sat downstairs which was fine with me. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Takayama but there is definitely room for improvement.

Nos sorprendió para bien. Sobre todo al saber que el onsen son gratuitos y con diferentes máquinas entre las plantas. Microondas, hielo, máquinas expendedoras. La atención del personal genial y la ubicación cerca de la estación estupenda. Cerca de varios tiendas y restaurantes. Un hotel muy respetuoso con el medio ambiente. Las lavadoras están dentro de los onsen ya sea para chicas o chicos

Nice and cozy hotel with moderate room size, good breakfast. Cheap parking is available right across the street with only 800yen for 24 hours. A good hotel to get overnight with if you pass by Gifu.

The facilities are recently renovated and well maintained. There are multiple onsens and they are all very clean. The hotel is close to the station with shuttle bus service during certain hours. The food and catering service are also good.

Me gustó mucho la política de no usar zapatos: le da al hotel un ambiente tranquilo y limpio. Sin embargo, la habitación confort era decepcionantemente pequeña y bastante estrecha, lo que le resta comodidad. Además, aunque muchas zonas del hotel están limpias y bien cuidadas, las toallas podrían ser mejores (más suaves). En general, una buena estancia, especialmente por la ubicación, perfecta para hacer senderismo en Nakasendo.

The hotel is very good for public bath and sauna. They have swimming pool and gym but the opening time at 8.00 AM .if they can open at 6.00 AM or 6.30 AM will be better. The breakfast is served with variety of food. Too bad we got room at 4 th Floor. When you open window of room, You see wall.

Está al lado de la estación Gero, lo cual es muy conveniente. Se considera un hotel de aguas termales gigante en la zona. Tiene tres baños de aguas termales diferentes en tres pisos, los regulares, los al aire libre y los de observación de gran altura. La calidad del agua es suave y suave, lo cual es diferente de Arima. y Kusatsu. No está mal. Es más hermoso durante las hojas rojas. Pero al fin y al cabo es un hotel antiguo, las instalaciones son muy antiguas, la cena es normal y el desayuno rico. Si tiene requisitos más altos, puede elegir otros B & B de aguas termales más pequeños. Si desea experimentar múltiples estilos, puede elegirlo.

Este hotel en Takayama nos dejó muy satisfechos. Está muy cerca de la estación, es bastante nuevo y la habitación fue la más espaciosa de los cuatro hoteles donde nos hospedamos en Japón. El desayuno era muy completo, y los fritos estaban incluso más ricos que en algunos restaurantes. Por las noches, a las 21:00, ofrecen ochazuke gratuito. En la azotea se puede disfrutar del onsen, y al salir, hay paletas de helado disponibles. Dado que muchos restaurantes en Takayama cierran por la noche, incluso cenamos una vez en el propio hotel. El gyudon no fue excepcional, pero nos resultó muy práctico. En definitiva, quedamos muy satisfechos. Takayama merece otra visita y este hotel es totalmente recomendable para repetir.

This hotel is very good and worth to stay in Gifu-hashima station, it's easy to walk just leave from the train station at South exit and turn right, then just go straight walking to hotel. The hotel room is super clean and convenient, there are all facilities provided in the room, it's great to stay here. There is vending machine and microwave provided. I'm very happy to stay in this hotel.
