I spent 4 nights there. It's located in the outskirts of Portland, thus it takes 30-40 minutes to get to the downtown on foot. Friendly staff. There's a decent gym inside. The only downside is the breakfast that could be better.

We stayed 1 night for our trip to enjoy the Maine’s lobster. This hotel is located at the old port area where is easily walking to restaurants and pier. Nice, clean and good service!

We stayed at Super 8 by Wyndham as a group of 4 families for a one-night stopover. The rooms were pleasant, and the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The complimentary “to-go” breakfast was convenient, offering boiled eggs, ready-to-eat oats boxes, probiotic mix, juices, apples, and a microwave for use. While simple, it was thoughtful and practical for travelers on the move. Overall, a good option for short stays with clean rooms and a quick breakfast.

La ubicación es muy buena porque no estaba en el corazón del centro. Sala limpia y brillante. Debido a la codicia el servicio de mantenimiento de la casa no se ha entregado durante las 3 noches que nos quedamos. El precio era extremadamente caro (de hecho todos los hoteles en todo Portland). En cualquier caso, una gran habitación espacial y tuve una agradable estancia.

Very clean, accommodating staff. If I could suggest anything, it would be that they would explain when asked about being pet friendly that they don’t allow pets to stay in the room while you’re not there and charge a $250 fine if you leave the room. We were confused because in other hotels that we stayed, we were allowed to leave the dogs. This makes it rather difficult when you arrive at the location and you’re an hour and a half away from your house that you have to now find a dog sitter or a dog daycare while you go out of your hotel room to me it defeats the purpose because I know I would’ve left them with the dog sitter at home either that or they clarify their stance on such issues like “do you have a dog here well as long as he stays quiet, it’s OK“ something to that effect.

We celebrated my son's birthday and the added freebies (free breakfast, birthday card, late checkout and candies surprise) are indeed very much appreciated! UUsuario invitadoWe just came back from our 4 nights stay. The Inn looked clean and offered a good breakfast, although in a different building. That is pretty much it.
Our stay was not the most pleasant though. We booked a room for 3 people (we were traveling with our teenage kid) and at the time of booking I specified that I needed a room large enough for three people and an additional bed for our son. I called the Inn twice in the week prior to our arrival to make sure we had the room we needed and to let them know that we were arriving late in the evening. We arrived on Thursday night at 9 pm to find out that the room we were given was incredibly small and there was no place for an additional bed. The receptionist, a foreign student, called the manager who told her to add a cot to the already small room. We asked for another room and we were offered a room on the third story that was identical to the one we were given but with an awful smell and we declined it. The receptionist told us to either take the room we were assigned or leave. Little caveat, we had already prepaid a non refundable rate and at this time of the year there are no rooms available on Old Orchard Beach without a reservation. The receptionist did not seem to understand the conundrum of the prepaid non refundable stay and did not want to call the manager a second time to try to help us out. We did not want to lose the money we had already disbursed for our vacation so we had no choice but to take the room we were given, move the furniture around to fit a cot bed between our bed and a bureau (which then we could not use because his bed was right against the drawers). Every night we had to move all the luggage against the door to have enough space for the three of us to get to the tiniest bathroom you can think of (a closet repurposed as a bathroom). I do not understand why they accepted the reservation and ended up messing up with our vacation. They could have rejected the reservation saying that they did not have a room for us and I would have booked a room somewhere else. This small room could have worked for a couple but did not work for a family. The room service is offered every other day which meant leaving wet towels from 3 people's showers on the bathroom for an entire day. On one day, I asked for a garbage bag and put the wet towels outside the floor for someone to pick up. Same for the garbage. They sat there in the hallway until the next day. How do they expect people to shower every day, without a change of towels, especially after spending a day at the beach? There are a lot of things that could have been done better. We have been at OOB several times and other motels offer a much better service. I think there is a lot of potential but they need better management.
Will not stay there again.

YYUE¡Nos quedamos en la habitación en anexo y nuestro grupo quedaba en dos habitaciones. -muy limpia y nueva! La habitación es limpia y es spaciosa y la cama es cómoda! La única cosa es que una de las habitaciones tiene olor a una nueva habitación renovada - afortunadamente compramos una bolsa y no se quedó en la habitación mucho por lo que fue aceptable. UUsuario invitadoBreakfast was great. We had a little maintenance issue with the room but the maintenance staff came right up to resolve our issue. Front desk girl was very professional and courteous. She was on the phone with what sounded like a previous guest who was clearly complaining about something regarding the sales tax and a reservation with the previous private owner prior to Quality Inn taking over. She handled herself very well, calm professional and respectful even though the person on the other end of the line was not reciprocating those same qualities. She got off the phone and helped me with a great smile and very attentive to my questions. Great job!!

The room was quite large with a nice couch and balcony. Also had a coffee make, refrigerator, and M/W. Good TV. The bathroom was a little smaller, although better than some of the hotels in the area, which all tend to be older. It was a little rainy and foggy, but still had some nice views. We were on the first floor and I think the second floor would be a little better. We seem to go back to Greenville quite often and I will use them again.

UUsuario invitadoThe Press Hotel is a very nice hotel; clean, modern, upscale. But I found the valuer for the money was lacking. The food in their restaurant, Union, was above average but the prices were too high for what you got. Breakfast for two (one order of oatmeal and one order of a smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese) came to $44, and with a 20% tip thrown in the meal cost $53. For breakfast! My dinner the night before was similar; very tasty food, but not worth the $125 price for two people. If you don't mind spending lots of $$, it's a great hotel with excellent service and nice rooms.
