One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in China. It has a classic luxury feel with elegant architecture and timeless charm. Although the rooms are slightly dated, they are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location is excellent, within walking distance of many major attractions, shopping areas, and restaurants. Overall, it’s an outstanding value for money, and I would gladly stay here again.

It's amazing that the rooms provided at such a price are quite large, yet practical. Our family of five arrived late (past one o’clock in the morning) by plane. Thanks to the front desk guy who took us from the parking lot to the hotel. Otherwise, with kids, 4 luggages, raining heavily, midnight, one could imagine how disastrous would be without the help from the hotel front desk! The breakfast is also very rich, and the service is also very good. I’m not sure if this is due to the friendly personality of Qingdao people or just Atour staff, people I met when I touched down from Qingdao airport to convenient storekeeper to driver, I found that people here are very easy-going. For this reason, I am looking forward to this trip at Qingdao. 😊

¡Recomiendo muchísimo esta habitación doble con vista al mar junto a la playa de Shichangzhe en el distrito de Laoshan! La ubicación es inmejorable, a solo unos minutos a pie de la playa, lo que la hace increíblemente conveniente. La habitación ofrece una vista panorámica del mar azul, con vista directa a la playa de Shichangzhe. Podrás contemplar el amanecer sobre el mar por la mañana y sentir la suave brisa marina por la tarde. I stayed at Hilton Yantai for 8 nights and overall had a very pleasant stay. Check-in was around 3pm and was smooth and straightforward. As I was staying for a longer period, the hotel kindly upgraded me to a room on the top floor, which was a very nice gesture and much appreciated. The concierge staff were also very friendly and polite. They helped with my luggage and brought it up to my room, which was really helpful after checking in. The room itself was spacious and was kept clean throughout my stay. Housekeeping did a good job every day, with the room being cleaned properly, fresh water provided and even the carpet kept clean. I was happy with the standard of housekeeping during my 8-night stay. The breakfast was good overall, and one of the nicest things was the view. The restaurant has large windows overlooking the park, which creates a really nice atmosphere in the morning. The service was also good and the staff were attentive. However, as I stayed for 8 nights, I did notice that the breakfast selection was quite repetitive. There wasn’t a huge variety of hot food, and the choices were largely the same each day. For a five-star hotel, I would have liked to see a little more variety, especially for guests staying for several days. The TV in the room was another area that could be improved. The picture quality looked a little blue and not as sharp as I would expect from a modern five-star hotel. It would also be nice to have a wider selection of international channels, particularly for international guests staying for longer periods. I also used the gym during my stay. One small thing I found a little inconvenient was being asked for my room number every time I went to use the gym. I understand the hotel needs to make sure the facilities are being used by guests, but for someone staying for 8 nights and using the gym regularly, being asked the same question each time felt a little unnecessary. Perhaps there could be another way of checking hotel guests in, such as using the room key. I completely understand checking room numbers for access to the swimming pool, but for the gym, a key-card system might be a little more convenient for regular guests. The lobby looks nice, although interior look old fashioned , and during busy periods it could take a little longer to queue, especially when there were conferences being held at the hotel. The lifts could also be quite busy and take some time during peak breakfast hours. As room was on the 24th floor, did occasionally hear some noise from the corridor, including people speaking loudly, as well as some construction noise. It wasn’t constant, but it was noticeable at times, especially when trying to rest. We had a good stay at Hilton Yantai. The spacious and clean room, helpful staff, good housekeeping, nice park view and smooth service were all positives. With a little more variety at breakfast, better TV picture quality and more international channels, I think the experience could be even better for longer-staying and international guests.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the spotless cleanliness throughout the entire property. The lobby was bright and inviting, the hallways were pristine, and our room was immaculate. The price was very reasonable, especially when compared to other hotels in a similar category that we've stayed at in Qingdao. You get so much more for your money here—the excellent breakfast, the modern, clean rooms, and the wonderful service make it a standout choice. The location was another huge plus for us. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro, making it incredibly easy to get around the city without a car. Furthermore, the surrounding area is vibrant and full of life! We loved being able to step outside and find great restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. It felt like we were in the heart of the action. Finally, as non-smokers, we greatly appreciated that the entire hotel, including all rooms, was completely smoke-free. It made the environment so much more pleasant. In summary, our stay at the Hampton by Hilton in Qingdao was practically perfect. It offers incredible value, combining cleanliness, exceptional service, a delicious breakfast, and a prime location.
