El olor de los cigarrillos fuertes que fuman a la puerta abierta. mezclado con el olor de la habitación fue super abundante y causa náuseas. Pensaba que podría ser realmente el olor del olor que usan, pero cuando entré en el baño. El olor a fumar en el interior antes... con mis 2 niños, pido que se cambie la habitación que se me dio. Pero la molestia de esperar a descansar cuando se inspecciona, pero luego termina con la necesidad de hacer un viaje a la recepción para cambiar la habitación no me gusta. El hotel es bueno, pero RM200 para los fumadores que fuman en la habitación es demasiado pequeño como la mayoría de SG y MY pueden. Debiera aumentar la multa a $3000.... No te preocupes... Los fumadores son personas ricas porque tienen la oportunidad de comprar cigarrillos para fumar su vida.

Very quiet and clean hotel with clean towels and bedsheets. Easy check in and check out. There are many halal eateries and convenience shops too. Overall pleasant stay. Tv channels ok but tv quality can be improved cos screen quite pixelated.

Went for a 2D1N trip and here’s my takeaway: - Location: Less than 5minutes walk to KSL, have KFRY next to hotel lobby, massage parlours around 3-5mins walk✅ - Check-in: Require RM100 cash upon check-in, seamless✅ - Room: High floor, love the pillows! Spacious, clean and tidy. ✅ - Amenities: Not bad, basics ✅ - Toilet: Have bath tub, but the shower curtain a bit dirty & when shower the water will puddle up around the bath tub, and leak to the floor. This creates potential hazard (slippery) ❗️ - Breakfast Buffet: Typical like nasi lemak, porridge, omelette (they prepared beforehand), but nothing amazing. Overall was still good but can improve better 🍽️

We stayed at Trove Hotel JB for one night on a whim to avoid traffic. It’s a comfy 4-star hotel, and the extra bed we ordered was set up quickly. I rated cleanliness a 4 out of 5. While the room was generally tidy, there was litter under the beds, and the toilet corners had some dirt. It’s a bit disappointing since the hotel is relatively new. But overall, I’d stay here again if needed.

First time request for connecting room. New iron, ironing board & tv.. We enjoyed our stay even though it was raining on the first two days. Pasar Karat moved to the parking lot beside Galleria Kotaraya. We tried Kopi Kedah 888. Very nice but their green tea was so sweet.

A decent stay for one night. Just that the hotel is a little rundown, the bed and toilet was old but was clean. We took the room that have the seaview and it was beautiful. But, it was abit noisy throughout the night from the disco sound. Package included the buffet breakfast but variety was limited.. Book a grab to city square was about RM9, 10 mins drive. So for less than SGD55 a night, I would say it was reasonable stay.

En contraste, el hotel es un mamak abierto 24-hour (Ayub)Restaurante musulmano. Hay una tienda de conveniencia 7-11 al lado del hotel. Muchos restaurantes chinos cercanos. En la esquina, hay Hong Leong Bank. A unos pocos kilómetros de aquí, hay un restaurante malaico (arroz mezclado, menú, etc.). Como he reservado para 2 personas, mi única edición no es suficiente espacio (no hay caja) para colgar ropa como se muestra en la última foto. Es pendientes de espacio abierto. Si usted es viajero solo, no es un problema. Sin embargo, en general estoy satisfecho con la estancia.

I’m giving this hotel 3 stars because it delivers exactly that — a textbook 3-star experience. If you’re walking from JB CIQ, take a moment to pray for your luggage wheels. The cobblestone pavement on the way is a certified durability test for any suitcase. The reception staff, to their credit, were professional and efficient, setting the stay off on a positive note. There’s no air-conditioning in the corridors on the way from the lobby to the rooms, which makes sense once you feel the lobby itself — it’s cooled to near polar conditions, possibly at the expense of the upper floors. The lobby even has a convenience stall with tables and chairs — great for a quick snack or late-night instant noodle run. The fact that they sell noodles complete with disposable bowls almost makes it feel planned. I stayed on the 19th floor in a room that could politely be described as functional. It came with two sockets, a few hangers in an open closet, and no mini-fridge, so don’t bring anything perishable unless you plan to eat it immediately. The vinyl flooring showed signs of wear, and a quick look under the bed revealed a generous collection of dust. The AC was the old-school fan coil type, and thankfully, it worked perfectly fine. The bathroom, however, turned into an adventure of its own. The shower head was fixed in place, the glass partition far too short, and the result was a small-scale water park after every shower — fun only if you enjoy slipping hazards. The toilet needed a two-flush routine, and the bidet hose leaked enough to make using it a careful balancing act. Then there was the Great Towel Shortage. Despite two guests, we received one face towel. There was no hand soap either — only the all-purpose shampoo dispenser in the shower. When housekeeping came, they simply rehung the used towels instead of replacing them. The lone face towel, which I’d pressed into service to mop up the flooded floor, was removed and never replaced. We ended up with just two towels for our second night. I was too tired to argue. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise — the buffet was reasonably priced and had a good range of options. Overall, this hotel is best suited for travelers who can adapt and aren’t thrown off by a few inconveniences. If you’re the kind of person who enjoys finding creative solutions when things don’t go perfectly, you might even appreciate it here. But if you’re after consistent comfort, you’ll probably want to look elsewhere. Staying here is a bit like driving a reliable car with no seat cushions — it gets you where you need to go, but the ride won’t be entirely comfortable.

We had an excellent stay! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The beds were well-made and the overall ambiance of the room felt relaxing after a long day. The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights of our stay—lots of variety and everything tasted fresh. We especially enjoyed the selection of local dishes and the drinks section. Service was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The facilities were well-maintained, and overall the stay was definitely worth it. Would happily return again!
