It is a brilliant experience. The hostel is near the museum and also Victoria Village.
Be aware of the check-in time in Winter as it is an hour later than the closure of the nearest by museum.

The hotel was good, and both the receptionist were so helpful and had a good sense of humour. They were always ready to help., The only downside was we missed on goring in the pool as the Ph levels were high on the day we wanted to use. The breakfast was fresh and very good too

Hotel and room where clean, friendly staff, Breakfast was ok, nothing special. The bed was a little hard for my liking and the room was very hot. The location is ideal for access to the International centre.

Where to begin with this one?
Firstly i requested to cancel as i was coming down with COVID like symptoms. Ramada Telford seem to not mind that though, so that request was denied (no offer of another stay, or partial refund, nothing).
Felt better day of, and decided to travel. On check-in (nor on the website, photo attached) i wasn't told anything about the pool being out of service. Turns out it was. No offer of a full or partial refund. Nothing. Luckily, Trip have stepped in with a good will gesture.
Spoke to some people (named below) by email afterwards and basically told ”nothing they can do” and ”it's trip's fault” that the website didn't reflect that their pool had been out of action since DECEMBER.
Awful customer service, facilities not available. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Spent first night in noisy room with less than satisfactory plumbing. We were upgraded to a minimise for night 2 - excellent customer.er service. A great historic building that was lacking soul as bar was closed.

¡Wem es un lugar donde la mayoría de las personas pierden el camino en algún lugar más grande, más emocionante pero detengan la Elegencia del Viejo Mundo en este deleiteable rédito listado de 1804.Don't worry the showers work, as does the central heating -without fires in every room as it was built! Las damas se transportan a Jane Austin con ropa de período y la graciosa curva de la escalera hace una hermosa foto.Ok sí hacen bodas pero también permanecen en cualquier momento - hermosa comidas inc domingo almuerzo .Una joya - ¡Estoy seguro de estar de vuelta!

UUsuario invitadoThis hotel was located just off the motorway, and fairly easy to find. Upon arrival/check in we were informed of our room number and given our key card, however no information was provided. ie (check out times, breakfast times, any of the bar/restaurant details, pool/fitness centre details. We had to go back and forth to reception through out to get the information we needed. Fortunately the staff were friendly and welcoming which made easy to approach them.
Room was nice, bit cramped even for a king privilege room. Not much space to walk, too many unnecessary chairs. Room and bathroom was clean. Mini fridge was nicely stocked up with water and soft drinks for free. TV in the room was a smart tv, allowed us to watch Netflix via screen mirroring which was excellent. Bed was comfortable with multiple pillow options. Sockets and USB charging points on both sides of the room, great for charging multiple devices. Full length mirror and cupboard space to hang up clothes. Nice gown and slippers presented neatly on the bed.
We did visit the pool facilities on multiple occasions during our stay. It was just a medium size. With a separate jacuzzi and steam room and sauna. Pool water was nice temperature, slightly warm which felt really nice. Lighting in the pool area was poor, quite dimly lit. Lockers in changing area needs a padlock, as we didn’t know we didn’t take out. Some chairs are available on the pool side which we were able to put out things.
Dining room was nicely laid out with ample space to move around. Breakfast had multiple options including vegetarian options available on request. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall a pleasant stay. Would recommend it.

PPeter ClemensA Wonderful Stay at the Lowfield Inn – A Hidden Gem on the English-Welsh Border
We had a fantastic stay at the Lowfield Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Our family room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of room to relax, including a sofa. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep in a quiet and peaceful setting.
The inn features a lovely common area and a roof terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. The scenery is stunning and perfect for enjoying long walks along the border between England and Wales.
The pub itself is a true highlight—offering a great selection of traditional cask ales and a very welcoming beer garden where you can enjoy the evening sun. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the staff are genuinely helpful and accommodating. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as pencils and paper provided for children.
As for the food: it was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The menu offers a wonderful mix of traditional English pub fare and Indian dishes, all prepared with creativity and care. The starters were delicious, the mains were generous and satisfying, and the desserts were absolutely indulgent. The children’s menu was also well thought out and very appealing. Breakfast was equally impressive, with a wide selection and very generous portions—no one left hungry!
There’s also plenty of parking space, which made everything even easier.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return the next time we’re in the area.

Sin embargo, esto también significa que es un poco de un conejo de guerra dentro, lo que hace difícil encontrar su camino alrededor de los largos corredores de rama - un pesadilla cierta en caso de un incendio.
El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer.
Nuestra cama era grande, limpia y cómoda y la habitación estaba bien recurso: instalaciones de té y café con una amplia gama de tés y leche; agua canada complimentaria en la mini refrigeradora; plancha de hierro y de hierro; muchos sockets incluyendo USB, La habitación está muy bien, pero no hay pasta de dientes que se olvide de empacar.
No tuvimos tiempo para usar las áreas de recepción abajo, pero se veían bien presentadas y estaban llenas de carácter, ofreciendo un espacio muy atractivo para tomar una bebida o una comida.
El personal de la recepción fue agradable y profesional.

Positives - All staff friendly and helpful, nice location, if you can book a deluxe room so you get a first floor room with outside table and chairs and view of the golf course. Treatment and spa facilities were good though there are no jaqoozi.
Negativos - Organización, tuve un día de spa y un almuerzo, no se explicó dónde estaba el almuerzo o qué estaba incluido, tuve que hacer todas las preguntas. No me dijeron el límite de 15 libras para almorzar, así que pasé y luego esperaban que pagara la diferencia, pero acordaron que era injusto. La habitación era muy caliente y no era ni siquiera tan caliente fuera, tomar un fan en el tiempo caliente. ¡El personal estaba enfermo y había un nuevo barman que retrasó las bebidas!
No volvería por el precio que tienes que pagar y lo que tienes

HHameed966From the very start, Rebecca was an absolute star. Her proactive communication and all the useful information she shared made us feel confident we were in for a lovely stay and we truly were. She greeted us on a rainy day with a big smile that instantly made us feel at home.The house is beautifully set among rare farmlands, offering peace and scenic charm. Our room, which had a private balcony, gave us stunning countryside views. Having binoculars provided in the room was such a thoughtful touch we loved watching the birds while relaxing outside.The place itself is full of delightful details board games both in the room and the lobby, Sky and Netflix for cozy evenings, and a nice selection of snacks and small bites available.Breakfast was served with a view, and it was excellent fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. My wife and I truly enjoyed every part of our stay, and we will definitely be coming back.

The room was warm, the bedding/towels were clean and breakfast was good. We couldn’t connect to WiFi during our stay until we were in the car park ready to leave
