Es realmente hermoso, pero todo el hotel está bañado con agua salada, si no te gusta tanto la ecología original, no te quedes aquí.

The strength of this hotel is the great built-in spa within the hotel property! Stay here if you want to enjoy a beautiful spa experience only steps away from your hotel room. Don’t stay here is you expect to be close to downtown. It’s at least a twenty minute walk to downtown, including if you just need a quick drink from a convenience store, and having to take a taxi each time quickly adds up! Don’t even think about walking to and from the hotel after sunset as the mosquitoes will eat you very quickly (you won’t even make it half way). Hence, I sort of wished I picked any hotel closer to downtown as I believe their premium is worth it just on this fact alone. Don’t stay here if you want variety with the included breakfast. The complimentary breakfast will have you searching for the rooftop entrance across the street, climb the stairs to be presented three preset breakfast options; omelette or scrambled eggs with either cheese or ham or pancakes. Granted, a bit of fruits and yogurt is included along with the eggs, but it’s pretty basic. Though I’m not complaining when you get to have freshly prepared breakfast on the rooftop overlooking the Holbox white beach! Just don’t expect much nor to have a variety of options. But it will get the job done! Breakfast was 8:30-10:30am and we hung around past that to enjoy coffee on the rooftop WIFI. Don’t stay here if you are expecting a good pool experience. The two small pools on the property aren’t running all the time so it doesn’t look appealing to get into. Don’t stay here if you are expecting a view from your hotel room. You won’t see any bit of the ocean - just the hotels in front and behind this hotel. We upgraded from the Double Room to the King suite and really glad we did because we got a nice balcony and comfortable bed with plenty of different pillow options. We also looked into upgrading to the King suite with bathtub option but glad we didn’t opt for it as the bathtub didn’t look appealing and just took up all the living room space. We wish the rooms were a bit more spacious, with perhaps some living room furniture, otherwise you just get a basic bed with nightstands, TV with basic cable and basic bathroom. The water pressure was good and quickly warmed up. The room AC was great and didn’t need to be run long. The issue mainly was the poor insulating as we heard out downstairs neighbours and likely would have heard whoever was across from us if there was anyone. There was no safe or iron in the room unfortunately. If beach clubs are your thing, there are three decent options very close by. We checked out “HAU” beach club directly across from this hotel. This beach club didn’t have a minimum, had a generous happy hour (4-7pm), but unfortunately we got diarrhea after their mojitos. Although they were delicious mojitos so it’s hard to regret it. I primarily booked this place to get a great spa experience and they exceeded my expectations. Thus, based on this experience, this hotel deserves nothing less than five stars. I also can’t forget to mention the hotel staff were incredibly helpful during our stay. Shoutout to all the concierges and especially including Mateo, Almira and Marianna in the reservations department!

I found this property Ujo have good reviews on Trip.con and wanted to give it a try. I preferred apartment style stays cos the convenience of having a kitchen allows flexibility for diet-restricted people. The place looked modern and clean. Pretty spacious and functional. Has a balcony with a (not so grande, lol) view of the neighborhood. It was so hot outside even in November, like a sauna, so we didn’t spend anytime on the balcony and kept windows and doors shut to prevent heat and bugs. The AC and two ceiling fans in our room helped greatly for temperature control, making our stay comfortable. Note: the AC only works when you use the key card in the room — inserting it in the power slot and then AC can be turned on. Without a note about it, I thought the AC was not working. But glad the lady there helped to call and figure it out. Simple as that. The bathroom is interesting. It’s mostly good, got a ceiling shower and worked well. They provided organic wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The only part that didn’t make too much sense is the short half wall that is functioning as a divider between the shower part and the dry part of the bathroom. Water would easily splash out — it felt like it was designed for shorter users and didn’t account for a lot of tourists that are tall. Perhaps add a good old shower curtain? Mostly for the property’s own benefit of not getting the floor wet where it shouldn’t be. I sent a request when I booked the room for the hosts to spray bug sprays in the room prior to my arrival. They quickly acknowledged that after my booking and did that before I checked in. Much appreciation. When we checked out, we left our luggage to the host for a few hours. They are very helpful to put them away.  Also this place has bike rentals on site for a good price compared to what we saw outside of the property.  Finally, let’s talk about the overall area. We chose it also because it’s close location to ADO bus station as we came from Cancun via bus. We don’t have any interest in the crazy taxi prices and want to walk as much as we can. So this walkable property (less than 10minutes from Tulum ADO bus station) worked. I also chose it because it’s not on the Main Street where I looked at a lot of properties and found noise complaints. I cannot handle noise past 10pm. I need my rest. So overall, Ujo was quiet in itself, no really close-by clubs, no rooftop parties, and other visitors seemed respectful and not loud after 10pm. BUT, here is the reality, this is a town with many stray animals. And they sleep during the heated day time, and get active at night. So there were barking and meowing for sure that can pierce thru. As well as some traffic sound and remote club noises. Don’t expect 100% tranquility. I am fairly picky about noise but I would say given the town’s reality, this is a very decent spot. I was able to sleep thru the nights without much issue.  Overall the stay met the score it had on Trip.com (9.6/10) when I was booking. If I visit Tulum again, or if someone asked for a recommendation, I would stay/recommend this place.

La ubicación era estupenda y el personal era amable y educado. ! No hay lavandería que funcione con monedas, así que tenga cuidado si quiere lavar la ropa. El servicio de bebidas gratuito está disponible de 11:00 a 23:00.

El hotel en sí está bien, pero si hubiera sabido de antemano el ambiente de la habitación principal, no la habría reservado. Al principio, no pudimos ducharnos porque el agua se desbordaba constantemente. Se lo dijimos al servicio de limpieza varias veces, y cada vez se disculpaban, tras lo cual alguien venía a limpiar el agua. Además, la habitación y el balcón son increíblemente grandes, lo cual es agradable, pero el aire acondicionado es muy ruidoso y la habitación da un aire hospitalario. Así que no hay un ambiente agradable. El sofá junto al televisor no resulta acogedor. No había ni una planta en la mesa ni nada, y no había mucho color que lo hiciera más acogedor. Una verdadera lástima. Ah, y tuve que bajar las maletas yo sola por las escaleras. Incluso cuando el botones me vio, no hizo más que gritar: ”¿Estás bien?”. No es que no pudiera soportarlo, pero no es un buen servicio. El hotel da mucha importancia a la vestimenta del restaurante, porque la primera vez que comimos allí, llegamos y nos preguntaron: ”¿Qué puedo hacer por ustedes?”. Fue poco cortés; pensé que era por mi atuendo, pero por suerte vi a varias mujeres con vestidos cortos. Y en la cena de fin de año, me revisaron de pies a cabeza para asegurarme de que cumplía con el código de vestimenta. Creo que esto podría haberse gestionado de forma más amable y orientada al servicio. ¡Ah, sí! Otros huéspedes nos robaron las toallas en la playa, y no nos lo agradecieron cuando se lo comunicamos al toallero. Por suerte, no nos multaron, pero podría haber sido mejor. El restaurante y la comida tienen un aspecto fantástico, y debo decir que el personal viste muy bien, lo cual es un placer.

El hotel está situado en una de las islas de la cadena exterior de Cancún, entre la laguna y el Golfo de México, con aguas azul turquesa y una temperatura ideal. La comida del hotel es buena; reservamos el paquete todo incluido, con una gran variedad de platos, desde bufet a la carta o servicio de habitaciones. También hay muchas actividades gratuitas, como el piragüismo, en las que participamos...

He estado en docenas de resorts todo incluido en Cancún, pero no hay lugar como Temptation. Somos estadounidenses de origen asiático, estamos a finales de nuestros 20 y nos lo pasamos genial en este lugar. Ambiente: Un ambiente de fiesta lleno de energía, con empleados sexis y una piscina con opción de topless. Un ambiente totalmente relajado y despreocupado para una escapada en pareja. Comida: Leí opiniones variadas sobre la comida, pero debo decir que me sorprendió gratamente la calidad y las opciones disponibles. Probé muchísimos platillos increíbles todos los días. Me encantó su hamburguesa de carne, pulpo, cóctel de camarones, sushi y más. Bebidas: También me sorprendió gratamente la cantidad de opciones y la calidad, como Don Julio, Black Label y más. Servicio: Excelente servicio, como se puede esperar de los hoteles todo incluido. Le doy un reconocimiento a POLO, que atiende el tranquilo bar de la piscina. Todos los demás también fueron amables y serviciales. Entretenimiento: Sí, el restaurante SHE. Disfruta de una comida de 5 estrellas mientras ves a las talentosas bailarinas bailar en el escenario y en el tubo. ¡Qué experiencia! Todos los días por la tarde hay un espectáculo en la piscina, y son divertidísimos, pero muy traviesos. Al público le encantó y se lo pasó bomba. Consejos y notas - Es un lugar travieso. La temática, los olores y el ambiente sensual y sexual son omnipresentes. Hay parejas atractivas de todas las edades, muchas de las cuales podrían estar dispuestas a tener experiencias traviesas juntas. Por supuesto, todo depende de ti y todos son respetuosos. Pero aquí todo vale, siempre y cuando sea en tu propia habitación. - Da propina a todos. ¡Mejorará la vida de los empleados y también tu servicio! - En las habitaciones con balcón de la Torre Bash puedes ver parejas dando un ”espectáculo”. Queríamos ver algo alocado, así que reservamos esta habitación y, ¡sin duda, vimos un montón de acción! - Las habitaciones de la Torre Bash tienen acceso a la piscina y los jacuzzis de la azotea. Ideales para comer y para escapar de la bulliciosa y sensual piscina. - La discoteca Bash siempre está de moda. Es un club al aire libre estilo Las Vegas con un bar enorme, escenario con luces y espectáculos increíbles cada noche de bailarines talentosos. ¡No te lo pierdas! - De 2 a 5 noches es suficiente, o podrías acabar lleno de fiesta. - Hay un plan de tiempo compartido al principio; nosotros no lo hicimos, pero eso es cosa tuya. Recibes algunos obsequios y no hay compromiso, así que depende del tiempo que tengas. - Aunque hay bastante gente joven, la media está definitivamente en los 40. Ojalá hubiera más asiáticos en el resort, ya que la mayoría es blanca/hispana. Deberían mejorar los precios en trip.com para impulsar la presencia demográfica asiática. ¡Esa es mi única sugerencia!

Standout was the unique rooms which are extremely private, spacious and beautifully designed along the lagoon. Personally I didn’t quite understand the ‘Butler’ concept and found some of the comms style a bit frustrating. The other standout was the ‘Day of the dead’ celebrations. The property was decorated beautifully and very well organised. The opportunity to also participate was great as we felt emerged in the festivities. It would have been nice if the dinner package also included the face painting. More broadly the property is set within mayakoba so you can explore the grounds including the other hotels and it was fun to explore on the bikes. The only other thing to be aware off is also this is the more premium / exclusive hotel in mayakoba it’s still geared towards families or at least there where quite a few kids around. Finally don’t have high expectations of the beach it’s tiny and there isn’t much space. If you want high end luxury visit Maroma.

Este es, sin duda, el mejor hotel en el que me he alojado. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas, y las limpian a diario. Es un hotel todo incluido, así que la comida y las bebidas son de primera calidad. Recomiendo encarecidamente el restaurante frente a la playa; recuerden reservar para cenar: el ambiente es increíble y ver la puesta de sol con la brisa marina es una experiencia sumamente relajante. El hotel tiene su propia playa privada de arena fina, justo a la salida. También hay una piscina y aguas termales. Está conectado con otros hoteles, por lo que se pueden compartir algunos restaurantes y piscinas. Hay una función gratuita en el auditorio todas las noches a las 20:30. En resumen, una excelente relación calidad-precio, muy recomendable.
