The hotel here is nice. The area is bad, but that is to be expected when traveling to a rural area. Upon arriving you’ll immediately be pressured into buying a tour. The price I was offered was $100 for two people. The tour was from 8-4. They do bring you to all the sites which for us was good. We had an uncomfortable experience on the second day of our tour (which was booked through the hotel) it was only supposed to be $80 for a half day where they then take us to the airport, but instead at the end he charged us $95 in the local currency. Overall I would recommend the hotel, but no need to book a tour with them.

Pukyo is a 5-room B&B run by David who is a very friendly and helpful host. We got a room on the ground floor which was excellent for my husband who does not walk well let alone climb stairs. It was a big family room with a king-sized double bed and 2 singles. There is an ensuite bathroom with a very good hot-water heater. The bathroom floor gets wet and slippery after the shower but there is an anti-slip mat and Daivd knows about the problem which he is going to fix this summer. The aircon is very powerful and there's also a wall fan as an option. There's also a small TV but we did not use it. The B&B is about 4 min from the airport and less than 10 from town. David will take you to town for dinner in his comfortable van and wait for you. He very kindly bought dinner back for us the 2nd night as my husband was too tired to go out. There's a fridge stocked with beers and drinks and a water dispenser in the living area. We had wonderful chats with David who is a great font of knowledge and felt like we were staying with a friend rather than a commercial lodging. There are mosquitoes in the evening but David sells lemongrass -scented repellent for 11,000LAK - very effective also for outdoor tours. David has a outdoor seating area at the back and it's a very peaceful and pleasant place for breakfast or a beer at sundown. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with David.

El hotel envió a un buen conductor inglés para recibir el aeropuerto de forma gratuita, que llamó Sr. Souk, y que también ha sido un guía de viajes durante muchos años y ha sido muy experimentado. Si hay más, puede organizar un viaje de un día de la gruta, incluyendo la planta de Shijiang, el viejo Buddha, el pueblo de Tongjiang, y otros, $25 por persona. La ubicación del hotel es buena, el aspecto es el clima. La habitación es grande y las instalaciones son muy sencillas. El aire acondicionado no tiene aire acondicionado caliente, pero se puede añadir un calzado. La bañera está muy caliente y el agua es muy grande. El desayuno es sencillo.

Занимали два номера. По ощущениям были одни в отеле. Завтраки заказывали по небольшому меню, выбор не большой, но для утра достаточно. Расположение немного в стороне от города, на небольшой возвышенности. Приятное место, очень ухоженная территория. Номера комфортные, приятные балконы с мебелью. Все необходимое в номерах есть. Нам понравилось.
