Location of the hotel is great. I came from Hiroshima. The journey is very long. I stayed 3 nights here. Breakfast was kinda okay, they have alot of spread. I paid for 1 x breakfast at 3300 yen. Personally i feel the price can be lower. Afew items to highlights were Tempura prawn, mentaiko, corn soup, soba and grilled beef. They have welcome drink (tea/coffee/soft drinks) for certain hours. Topup 1000 yen you can get unlimited alcohol. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the station. And also they have 2 properties . Next to each other. There’s 6 laudry machines. A sky pool, sauna and indoor bath (onsen). I can see the hotel emphasis/uses alot of technology . Your door card can be paid for many things (laundry and vending machine) including partner restaurants outside the hotels. Where you can charge the expenses to your room. There’s a touch pad in the room, for you go control lighting, air conditioning , check hotel information and even control the TV. The only downside is the touchpad is very bright. It takes too long for it to go into idle mode. The cast and mirroring was lagging for me. As for the wifi, i find it weird that it only allows in my room. I had not as for the hotel wide wifi, not sure if there’s one. The room wifi was okay. The pool on the roof was great . You can see almost the whole beppu. Sadly I did not take photos of it. It was very chill . I would definitely stay here again just for the pool and onsen. The room clothes hangers were kinda little. There’s only 4 of them. The ice machine is at L2 inbetween the fitness center and the laundry. I would like to suggest to relocate it. As it is located directly next to the smoking room. And both times I am there to collect the ice with the cup provided, I almost out of breath from the cigarette. The Washing machine had locking mechanism on it, so other guests would not take your clothes. Select checkout was brilliant, they have 2 counters for it. I ate a breakfast, did 2 laundry and one vending machine. It was calculated perfectly. The staff at the reception were very helpful . Overall the stay was good! Will stay again if I am in Beppu. Thank you .

Very comfortable stay and amazing service from the front desk. Just a warning that parking is 900 and it's one of those rotating elevator parking services. Wouldn't recommend it unless your car is really small - there are many other parking lots around the hotel area.

Quite new hotel in a great location next to the train station! But unfortunately due to proximity to the train station, can hear some train noises overnight. The 7 private baths are super nice and both dinner and breakfast are also fantastic. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They even offer free ramen at night. Typical Dormy inn service, good as always.

Had a pleasant stay overall. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for getting around. A few small things could be improved, but nothing that affected the stay too much. Would consider staying again.

I had a great time at Kannawaen with my family recently! We booked 2 rooms at Superior Japanese Western Room With Open Air Bath, with breakfast option. Parking was easy and spacious, everyone at the hotel was very kind and professional, room was very nice, clean, warm with nice views. I don't have much complaints except for check-out was done through a machinery method and the hotel only had one machine at the check-out area. FYI they also had employees who could speak English, which was great for forigners!

El hotel está situado justo enfrente de la Torre Beppu, el marco de la ciudad. La habitación es super espaciosa con una sala de entrada adecuada y un guardarropa de tamaño completo. Onsen está en dos pisos para los usuarios de hombre y damas para disfrutar en diferentes horarios. Muy limpio y agradable. La recepción de suelo y el vasto área de estar están decoradas hermosamente con tela colorida y luz brillante.

Exit from train station, turn right, walk out of the exit and you will see the entrance of the hotel on the right of the building at AMU. Lobby at level 8 while room from 9 onwards. Level 19 is the free onsen for guests. Breakfast was good local and western style. The washer and dryer not as good I think as after wash my clothing got a smell. Managed to rewash some at Kagoshima. Overall very convenient hotel as we used their trains to travel to Peppu to visit hells and Yokosuka to visit Harmonyland

Nos pidieron que dejara el equipaje sin comprobar y sin esperar cuando llegamos temprano. El punto en el que nos decepcionamos fue la notificación del tiempo de entrada. La mayoría de los hoteles/aubergos en Japón apoyan el ingreso temprano o tardío, pero parece que no tienen suficiente personal para ello. No nos dimos cuenta de que el ingreso es necesario a las 8:00. Nos llamaron alrededor de 7:10pm-ish para informar el tiempo de inicio de check-in. Y tratamos de negociar cuz que estabamos muy lejos y estabamos en las montañas. Nos llamamos cuz que intentábamos acelerar, pero casi causó un accidente. La respuesta que recibimos no fue SUPPORTIVA. Sólo dijeron que los clientes tenían que leer el tiempo de inicio de sesión en el sitio web (Trip.com) y no podían esperar ni siquiera dijimos que llegaríamos tarde por 5-10 minutos a la velocidad más rápida de nuestro viaje. Afortunadamente, hubo un grupo de clientes que estaban check-in cuando llegamos (20:05 pm) para que podamos check-in.

農曆新年去福崗旅行，因為老公喜歡浸溫泉，所以順道留宿兩晚在由布院。 旅館地段一流，鄰近金鱗湖，又寧靜，走一段小路便是湯布院大街了。 我們因為遲了訂房間，所以只能選擇日式洋房，沒有私湯，很可惜，老公有點失望。 一泊兩食真是吃到飽，好像是懷石料理+ 和牛燒烤／和牛Shabushabu. 個人不太懂得欣賞懷石料理，但可以感受食物10分精緻和新鮮。 因為我們不懂日語，旅館派了一位懂英語的年輕女待應全程照顧我們，感覺很貼心。 上面說過他們食物的份量有很多道菜，食到近尾已經很飽。女侍應問我們要不要米飯，我們回答只要少少便可，但原來在她看來以為料理不合我們胃口， 神情很緊張😅，我想說我們已經飽了。 至於缺點，我老公覺得廁所離洗手盆遠了些，尤其睡房內的私人廁所。旅館也不設洗衣服務，職員說如果要洗就得拿去市集大街的洗衣店。結果我們沒有，待回福岡才去酒店洗。 另外，我想旅館是傳統日式飯店，職員也頗有原則，去的時候我們不熟交通所以遲了到步，開飯時間延至7:30左右，感覺他們有點不滿，但都表現克制，回程又因為想要的火車／巴士車票售完，我們得提早出發，旅店也肯配合早餐時間，原本叫他們減去小朋友的份量，只要炒蛋便可以，但後來他們堅持照原本份量上枱，叮囑我們吃得多少就多少，他們回覆是旅客付了錢便應享有所訂的份量，那我們也尊重，我們只是不想浪費而已。 整體上我們是滿意的，很感受日本文化和傳統裝修各方面。
