Housekeeping was thorough and ensured our rooms were always clean and well-maintained. The rooms themselves were comfortable and well-equipped, making for a very pleasant stay. The property location was very nice, food was good and rooms were good as well. Just in front of the monastery 2 min walk distance plus right near the market area and cafes and landing point so overall the stay was great.

Yalakhom is situated at a remote yet accessible village in Himachal Pradesh called - Kalgha. Kalgha comes in the way to Kheerganga Trek, so those who are planning to go for the trek may consider staying at Yalakhom, as it is a great place to rewind and relax. I stayed at Yalakhom in the first week of June, the weather was pleasant and the rains made my stay even more pleasurable. When you will be at Yalakhom there won’t be any view you could take your eyes off. The people managing the homestay are also great. They take their time in cooking food, but they will serve you the freshest food possible with wide variety to choose from, that too at such a remote place. The wonderful folks at Yalakhom also offer accompanied guidance for treks, however I wasn’t aware of this until my final day at Yalakhom, so I couldn’t make use of the same. Pemba bhai, Agrimji, Resham bhai and Yangzee didi must be specifically mentioned. They will accomodate you as you are their friend, while respecting your privacy at the same time. I highly recommend Yalakhom notwithstanding your purpose of vacation, be it trekking or taking a peaceful break at the Himalayas.

Excelente estadía. Fue mi primera visita y me reservaron por un día pero terminé quedando en un día extra. El personal es muy útil. Esta propiedad es limpia y con un ambiente muy relajante. Ellos tienen hermosos parques infantiles con swings. Muchos parques de coches. Recomiendo este lugar y me gustaría quedarme de nuevo en un futuro próximo.

Location is good. The service is little slow. The breakfast offers a variety of food and is fine. The rooms are quite specious. However the amenities in the bathroom can be improved.
