During our three-day stay at The St Ives Bay Hotel, we had a memorable and relaxing experience as a couple. Our beach-view room was an absolute delight, offering stunning vistas of the ocean right from our window. The gentle sounds of the waves crashing on the shore were incredibly soothing, making every morning and evening special.
The room itself was spacious, providing more than enough room to unwind and truly feel at ease. We appreciated the hotel’s accessibility, with both bus and train services conveniently close by, making it easy for us to explore the charming town of St Ives and its beautiful surroundings. This convenience added an extra layer of ease to our holiday.
On top of everything, the hotel’s rates were budget-friendly, offering excellent value for such a great location and amenities. For couples seeking a comfortable and scenic getaway, The St Ives Bay Hotel is a wonderful option that doesn’t break the bank. We’d love to return!

The Anacapri is a first class place to stay, great location, staff very friendly and approachable. Breakfast was scrumptious. Definitely going to return someday and highly recommended comfortable and clean hotel facility

I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is beautifully located with great views and elegant interiors. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast was very good – fresh ingredients, tasty full English options and nicely presented dishes. The avocado toast and classic breakfast plate were both excellent.
Service was friendly and professional throughout my stay. The restaurant area was clean and well-organised.
Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I’m happy to recommend this place and would stay here again.

We had 2 nights here, 11-13 July. We arrived late, between 10-11pm, and the counter staff was very friendly n helpful.
We did not manage to get dinner due to train delays but the front staff was kind to inform us that we could purchase some cold sandwiches and he would make sandwiches for us. 😊
The room price includes breakfast for which we were glad. We enjoyed the breakfast thoroughly.
The views from the hotel overlooking the St Ives beach is truly amazing. The hotel grounds were immaculately maintained. You must walk through their walled garden … it is well landscaped and very beautiful. It felt like walking in some professionally well curated botanical garden. 👍🏼

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel itself was a great experience and we did enjoy the novelty of staying in the prison which I would recommend to anyone.
Upon arrival we were welcome by the team but very basic information was given, leading to us missing a tour of the hotel which we were told was included in the price. The manager then offered for one of the team to do a later tour for just the two of us which was cut short, very awkward and definitely not worth the money paid for. If we had been advised of the tour with the bigger group when checking in we may have had a better experience.
We decided to book dinner at the chapel to experience it as much as we could but dinner was poor. We had to wait for our table, 3 different people asked for our name before we sat down and then again a fourth person checked once we were sat down. With minimal staff on the service was poor to say the least and The burger ordered was pretty much raw, I did not finish it. Once we had finished no one came to ask if we wanted anything else or to look at a dessert menu. We left the restaurant with no one even there working! Not sure where the team had disappeared to.
Breakfast was good and would recommend it.

OOlly reviewsEl King Arthur's Arms está situado junto a un enorme parque de coches, pero en Fore Street, que es la calle principal que corre a través de Tintagel y a unos 3 minutos a pie a la cima de la colina que conduce a la castaña de Tintagel de la herencia inglesa. En el bar de Jess, al llegar, nos inspeccionó con una bienvenida muy amable. El olor de la limpieza nos surgió cuando caminamos hasta nuestra enorme habitación con cama doble, guardarropa, mesa de vestir, sillas fáciles y enorme baño con doble caminación en la ducha, la bañera, el baño y radiador caliente. En el hotel, el hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad, donde se encuentra el centro de la ciudad. No hubo problema con el ruido del pub y dormimos bien, despertando un amplio desayuno que comienza con una selección de pasteles y cereales, luego inglés completo, té, café y jugos! A continuación, pudimos permanecer estacionados por unas horas después de comprobar a las 10:00 para pasear por Tintagel.
Realmente no puede recomendar las Armas del Rey Arthur lo suficiente y especialmente para los padres solteros con niños seguros, amigables y acomodados y gritar a Jess por un servicio de super amigable a lo largo de todo!

UUsuario invitadoA lovely welcome as we were greeted at the Bar by Tommy and shown to our room. We went back to the bar and had a drink. The bar offers a good selection of beer lager and wines.
The room was clean and tidy and was great for a short stay. The bed was a double with a mattress that was a little soft for us, however that is because we do have a very firm mattress at home
The staff were very friendly and polite. Unfortunately due to our stay being on Sunday and Monday we could take advantage of the restaurant as it was closed for these two evenings but the menu looked very nice.
We paid for the breakfast for two mornings at £15 per head per day and it was very good. Yoghurt, fruit, warm croissants and cereals were on the table on arrival and then we were offered a choice of cooked breakfast, either a full english, bacon or sausage sandwiches and Scrambled egg with smoked salmon. We had an issue one morning however this was sorted out to our satisfaction.
We would definitely recommend St Tudy Inn for a short stopover.

UUsuario invitadoHas everything you may need for a night's stay. Bed was comfortable. It wasn't very clean, with cobwebs in every corner of the room and a couple spiders aswell. I had to get rid of a few mosquitos as well. There was dust on light fittings and lamp shades, the bathroomlifght switch didnt look like it had been cleaned. The room had a very noticeable damp smell in the air and there were small spots of what looked like mould, on the bathroom ceiling. The toilet seat was stained a yellow colour 🤢(its only a few quid for a new 1🫤). The carpet hadn't seemed to be hoovered before I arrived as there was some dirt and dead insects lying around. Luckily I didn't have to spend too much time in the room, most of the time I was sleeping, otherwise I would have asked to stay in another room to be very honest. The breakfast was really good though!

Es sin duda una de las mejores opciones en la zona, especialmente para las familias con niños, que también tienen un buen tiempo durante su estancia. El hotel ofrece una amplia gama de instalaciones, incluyendo piscina, bar, restaurante y parque de coches convenientes, lo que le hace una gran elección para los conductores. Además, es sólo un viaje a Hayle Bay y a 25 minutos del Monte de San Miguel, lo que le hace una base ideal para explorar la zona circundante. Recomiendo el Hotel Penventon Park para cualquiera que visite la zona.

UUsuario invitadoI can't begin to tell you how great the choice of this hotel was. We booked it as was going the the theatre to see the Luther tribute band who were amazing at the Hall for Cornwall. Under a minute from the hotel.
There was free parking right in the centre of the town which we managed to arrive early and use this facility.
We booked a queen size bed which was huge and very comfortable. The rooms are a tad tired but totally acceptable.
The staff in the bar were lovely and accommodating. This went from day and night staff!
This is the perfect hotel for shopping in Truro too.
Can't wait for our next visit! Fitted in a visit to Truro Cathedral too, truly inspiring!

UUsuario invitadoClean, comfortable room with good heating - which was appreciated during a cold snap that coincided with our visit. The wi-fi was reliable, and there was a TV, tea and coffee making equipment and a modern bathroom. Contrary to what some other reviews say, the beds are comfortable with good pillows. There is no fridge or in-room safe, but we did not require those things. The staff were friendly and bar and restaurant facilities were available if required. The ”full Cornish” breakfast was good although not over large. The location is excellent for a range of local services and beaches. Constructive suggestion: add a soap tray in the shower. even if this is just one that clips on to the shower head riser bar.
