Reservé una habitación de 28 metros cuadrados, pero la amable señora del check-in me cambió a una habitación Chunhe Jingming. We stayed at the hotel in late 2025.3 Everything exceeded our expectations. When I book, it seems the location outside the city is a drawback of this hotel, which is compensated by a free pickup. But for a sightseeing trip in ZhangYe and with services the hotel has to offer, the location doesn't matter at all. Not to mention that the hotel's car+driver offer is quite competitive compared to what we have pre-booked. ###Room###: The room was spacious with comfortable beds and lots of amenities. WiFi speed is decent. There is also a public washing & drying machine, where the maid offered to wash our clothes. ###Restaurant###: The breakfast was plenty. The dinner offer a wide variety of local and standard dishes at an accpetable price. We got a free decent late night snack/dessert (with milk for children) delivered to the room at night. ###Staff###: The staff was very attentive. It started with the driver waiting at the train staion exit. Then we were greeted at the hotel by a staff with a good command of English. The staff has good knowledge of sightseeing spots in ZY. At dinner, the staffs made their best to help us understand the menu, patiently expained the food choices, as well as help estimate how much food we should order. (We are traveling with 2 children.) When we arrive back at the hotel in the evening, they enthusiasticly offered to help carry our stuffs. Tips are not expected nor accepted. If I have to comment, a moisturizing lotion and extra blankets in the room would help when the weather is cold. This hotel will definitely be my first choice if we ever come to Zhangye again.

I stayed in a 4-person room. The room was minimalist and medium-small, with lockers – basic but comfortable. The common area is stylish and inviting, with plenty of seating, cozy corners, plants, kettles, and power outlets, though it’s on a high floor with a glass ceiling – warm when hot, cozy when cold, and the few fans aren’t always enough. The staff at the desk were friendly, laundry facilities available, though no snacks or cold drinks. The area is urban, among regular buildings, so not particularly attractive from the outside, but within walking distance to the museum and the metro station, with a large supermarket and several food options nearby. Overall, a decent place to stay in Lanzhou.

We arrived at the accommodation when it was raining heavily. There were a lot of leaks from the roof, when we entered the room we simply saw that the mattress was completely wet as a result of the leak. We then moved to another room where there was a leak in the bathroom as well as a lot of dirt, including in the toilet. We cleaned it ourselves so that the stay would be reasonable. It should be noted that the place only has a solar water heater, so on cloudy and rainy days there will be no hot water as happened to us on the day of arrival. We asked the staff in the evening for tomatoes and onions and they happily gave us them free of charge. This is noteworthy and thank you for that. It should be noted that the Didi does not always arrive at the accommodation location, they offer a paid shuttle, which is convenient. On the second day we went out to the dunes at sunrise, the guy at the desk insisted that we would be cold and gave us some kind of sand socks. Only when we returned did we realize that it was actually a fee of 20 for both of us (just like on the website, and much more than supermarkets in the area). We did not understand why we were not told that it was a fee, plus it looked used and did not come in a plastic wrap. Apart from this incident, the staff was nice and helped us with the shuttle (for a fee). The breakfast was great, and they tried to help us according to our vegetarianism. We wanted to extend our stay after cleaning the room ourselves and it was decent and good, but the price was high for us, which is perfectly fine and reasonable on their part, and we decided to leave.

¡Un lugar maravilloso y una familia maravillosa! El mejor alojamiento en el que nos alojamos en China. Ubicación perfecta, muy cerca del monasterio. Muy limpio. Nada más llegar, nos recibieron con un refrigerio de dátiles secos, pan, mantequilla y tzampa, acompañado de un delicioso té. Nos alojamos con esta familia dos días y siempre nos ofrecieron desayuno: el primer día con té de la casa y pan fresco, el segundo con café y pan frito. Pasamos la tarde con ellos y siempre nos ofrecieron comida y té, haciéndonos sentir como en casa. La casa es maravillosa, de estilo rústico, de madera, siempre muy limpia. Las camas son muy cómodas y tienen una manta térmica. En nuestra habitación también teníamos un calentador eléctrico para calentarnos, lo que hizo que la habitación fuera realmente cálida y acogedora. El baño tiene agua caliente. Puedes llenar tus botellas de agua de los recipientes que tienen frente a cada habitación. Siempre los vimos limpiando las zonas comunes. El sótano de la estación de tren no tenía conexión a internet, así que no pude usar DiDi. No solo pagué de más incluso después de negociar, sino que el conductor pasó la primera parte del viaje enviando mensajes de texto y tuve que pasarle el brazo por encima porque estábamos a punto de chocar por detrás con otro coche. 20 minutos después llegamos a la entrada del parque Maiji Shan. El amable propietario ya estaba allí y me ayudó inmediatamente con mis maletas. Unos minutos en coche hasta la espaciosa casa de campo. Pedí un plato de fideos que estaba caliente y delicioso, servido por una anciana. El desayuno chino de la granja era abundante. Usé la calefacción ya que las montañas se enfriaban rápidamente cuando se ponía el sol. La habitación impecable era grande con dos camas dobles, un televisor y un escritorio. El baño tenía inodoro y ducha integrados, así que estaba húmedo. Había mucha agua caliente, aunque encenderla era cuestión de pulsar un botón. ¡Aprendí algo nuevo! Se proporcionaron artículos de aseo y toallas de papel (otra novedad). El dueño me llevó a Maiji Shan.
