Hoteles con Wifi en Gansu, China

We are a family of two adults and two young children travelling with my in laws staying at a room with loft and a twins deluxe for 6 consecutive nights (had to extend the stay for 2 nights due to unforeseen circumstances). In our opinion, this hotel definitely fits into the 5 star rating category though not sure why the rating is marked as only 3 stars on trip.com. All staff that we interacted with at concierge, reception, restaurant, housekeeping and lounge were eager to help, professional and friendly. Housekeeping recognised my in laws has mobility issue and protectively provided additional accessibility facilities for their room. The rooms are modernly designed, spacious and clean. The gym is well equipped and the swimming pool has been excellently maintained, with water temperature that's just perfect. There's also a fairly hidden kids playing area (not very big) which the kids enjoyed spending ages at. Breakfast choices are diverse with local, broader Chinese and typical Western options available. Signature LanZhou noodles soup is a must every morning. For travellers not intending to dine out at night, we highly recommend paying a little bit extra for a room with club access as the light dinner it provides with the room is well worth the money. Overall, we had a very positive experience at the hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone. With that said, here are a few areas that we are not used to, which are common issues across hotels in China: 1. There is cigarette smell at various parts of the hotel. While this is not a constant issue, I personally have expected there's absolutely no such unpleasant smell at all throughout our entire stay (for a hotel that we deem to be 5 stars). In our mind, perhaps there can be better room allocation based on smoking and non smoking floors, and stricter enforcement of no smoking policy near common areas where there can be smoke drift. The reception area in particular is a hot spot for cigarette smell. 2. For visitors like us travelling from overseas, the rooms' air-conditioning setting are just too warm for us. As the heat setting was centrally controlled, we couldn't change it to a setting that kept the room to a temperature of low 20s. We ended up just completely switching them off and the hotel provided us with a separate cool air generating machine which helped to a degree. 3. For our initial booking of 4 nights, we were somewhat disappointed our loft room does not have the river view (noting that the room booking type for loft rooms made no distinction to river or city view, so we had assumed all rooms have river view). With all that said, we believe the first two issues are probably not unique to this hotel specifically in China, and the last issue can probably be resolved by making our expectation clear during booking, which makes this hotel still one of the best in the area.

It is very convenient since they pick you up and drop you off in the airport in just 10 minutes. But I wish they had contacted me to make it easier for them pickup. It was a bit of a nightmare. Overall pleased.

The hotel fulfilled all requirements I have for a base from where I can explore the sights in and around town. The only strange thing, which I didn't count to much was, that I ordered the room with breakfast (at least does the check-in voucher from trip say, that I get a breakfast) but there was no breakfast. I asked at the reception, where breakfast is and they said, in the entrance room of the hotel some thing (I don't remember what) is offered. There are some nice places to sit, but the only thing I saw was, that you could make some tea. Since I left on the first day early to visit Binblingsi, I didn't see whether other guests had their breakfast there, the next day I saw nobody. Despite I am a westerner I usually like the chinese type of breakfast at chinese hotels, so I eat the same like the chinese guests and don't need western breakfast when on holidays in China.

Este lugar era muy agradable y súper limpio/ordenado con una estética muy linda. Hay un gato residente llamado Pudding, lo cual es una buena novedad, y el albergue está en una excelente ubicación, a poca distancia de una gran cantidad de comida, tiendas y lugares de interés. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, con grandes ventanales y el propietario es muy servicial. Ella habla inglés y te enviará una lista de recomendaciones de comida para los alrededores. ¡También nos ayudaron a organizar muchas visitas turísticas a buen precio! Tuve una estancia maravillosa y estaría encantado de volver. Asegúrate de probar el “arroz” con carne de la lista, ¡es tan bueno!

Una buena estancia. Era temporada baja, así que había menos turistas en Tianshui. La casa de huéspedes estaba ubicada dentro de la ciudad antigua. La decoración era única. Había varios restaurantes en la planta baja. El agua tenía un sistema de tratamiento de agua fría, así que hacía calor incluso en invierno. La calefacción era muy potente, aparentemente con aire acondicionado central. Era tranquilo, con habitaciones espaciosas y buena limpieza. El personal fue amable y acogedor. El Templo Fuxi estaba cerca. Ten cuidado con el aparcamiento. Hay dos aparcamientos subterráneos cerca: uno en la ciudad antigua y otro en Cuijia Lane. Curiosamente, el servicio de localización de la casa de huéspedes me llevó a otro aparcamiento (en la ciudad antigua) al irme, a pesar de haber aparcado en Cuijia Lane la noche anterior. Parece que el aparcamiento de la ciudad antigua está un poco más cerca. En cualquier caso, ninguno está demasiado lejos. Es mejor preguntar con antelación o contactar directamente con la casa de huéspedes. El administrador de la propiedad de Tianshui me contactó sobre las 19:00. Si eres turista, ¡te recomiendo alojarte aquí!

We had a very pleasant stay at Hilton Lanzhou City Centre. Many thanks to front office staff, Debbie who attended to us warmly and responsively. The hotel's location was good and the check-in was very fast. Our high-floor room was clean and comfortable, the best is, choice of pillows is granted. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrise view of the city from our window. A point to note, the room window can only be unlocked by staff for cooler air flow as the central heating system is in operation for the current winter season. We also loved the fragrant of the toiletries. Buffet breakfast spread was tasty and varied. We spent a relaxing time enjoying our breakfast slowly.

Atour es la primera opción de viaje de nuestra familia. Esta vez, cuando fuimos a Tianshui, fue más cómodo tomar un taxi desde la estación de trenes de alta velocidad a las 11 de la noche. La habitación era grande, estaba bien equipada, tenía cuatro botellas de agua y un cómodo aire acondicionado. A mi madre le gustó mucho la almohada de látex de Atour. Pedí otra botella de agua en la recepción por la mañana y me la trajeron inmediatamente. Cuando hice el check out, la recepción me envió dos botellas más. Gracias.

Reservé este hotel Ibis porque tenía que tomar un tren a las 5 en punto del día siguiente. ¿Cómo puedo decir que el alojamiento es aceptable, pero no cumple con los estándares de otros hoteles Ibis o Huazhuhui? La recepción es realmente muy buena y la actitud del servicio es muy buena. Pero hay dos puntos negativos: 1. Las instalaciones del hotel son viejas, los taburetes y las mesas son como los de los hoteles antiguos y las toallas, efectivamente, no tienen pelo y deberían ser reemplazadas. 2. Hay dos botellas de agua en la habitación. La botella de la izquierda en la imagen obviamente se abrió y no está llena. Todavía hay gotas de agua evaporadas. La señora de la limpieza no la reemplazó cuando estaba limpiando. realmente sorprendido!

Esta estancia superó mis expectativas. Escuché que el hotel llevaba más de dos meses abierto, pero no parecía que lo estuvieran renovando. La decoración era muy sofisticada, limpia y ordenada. El personal de recepción fue amable y atento. El hotel no solo ofrecía té de la tarde gratuito, sino también un desayuno buffet muy completo. La recepcionista comentó que los chefs se levantaban a las cuatro o cinco para preparar la comida fresca, y que no había comida preparada. Había muchos restaurantes en los alrededores, así que era muy cómodo para comer. Además, estaba cerca de las atracciones de la ciudad, así que se podía pasear después de cenar. Era muy animado. Al irme, la recepción me dio un regalo especial de Zhangye, un regalo realmente genial. También había aparcamiento gratuito. Esta estancia fue la mejor experiencia que tuve en los últimos diez días fuera de casa.

The room is great, although this time we had an issue with the morning to the airport service. We arrived on time at 6:20am and there was no room in the shuttle that was scheduled. It’s very stressful to wake up early and make sure you don’t miss a flight, and they clearly overbooked the shuttle, even though we specifically arranged this the night before. A rude family pushed past us too and the hotel staff didn’t really communicate what was going on. I appreciate the hospitality during the stay, but guests shouldn’t have to worry about missing a flight from rude other guests and miss-counted shuttles.
