This is a truly comfortable and in fact elegant ryokan with all amenities desired. The staff is simply wonderful - nice, helpful with very good English language skills. The ryokan itself is very traditional in layout and style but very modern in amenities. Good location close to snow monkey park and Shiga Kogen skiing. All in all a wonderful experience

Small and cute place to be. Once you get to the train station or bus stop, give them a call and they will come pick you up. You can walk if you want, but it does go uphill a little bit if you have suitcase with you. Staff is really nice and accommodating. We did have one of our friends ending up pregnant on the trip after we had booked the trip and she was not able to eat many of the foods. They were really nice and worked with what she could eat and even gave her a little omamori (like a charm) for her healthy and safe pregnancy and birth. Would recommend to others. The individual onsen in each room is wonderful and if you want to have more people gather together, get the bigger rooms. Mt. Fuji is visible but understand that it depends on time of day and season. Due to the smaller space, there is only one area to gather downstairs, which is also where you check in. Not a big deal for us, but for those who wants like a whole area to walk around in the hotel, then may want to look at those bigger hotels.

我們是自駕前往的，酒店雖然有點陳舊，但是服務還是不錯的，秉承了日式温泉旅館的風格，接待人員的英語也還能溝通，我們在入住過程中去了該館的私湯，也不錯。

位置離雪猴很近。很喜歡他們的私人温泉。床很舒服，房間寬敞。

地獄谷野猿公苑と近くて、サービスも抜群、料理も美味しく、最高の思い出だった。

Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Beautiful gardens on property and very convenient to Snow Monkey Park. We loved being able to reserve a private onsen. Meals were delicious and such a great experience! And of course we enjoyed the view from our balcony.

Thank you very much for the hospitality. Everything was very nice. If I have to rank from 1 - 10; I would give almost in every parameter 10 Food, will give 9 Still a very high ranking, so would be more then happy to come back. Shopping of souvenirs, a bit limited, but it is o.k Thank you again for the excellent hospitality.
