Wingate by Wyndham Waynesboro

We liked everything about this hotel. We had a room with a king bed and a sofa which was perfect. It is quiet, clean, safe and close to restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. I would higly recommend it.

Easy to find from the highway (close by, yet did not hear roadnoise); the bathtub was missing its plug, so l had to walk down to the front desk (after calling but got no answer); they found me a plug and brought it to my room within 25 minutes. Lots of hot water! Bed was comfy. Vending machine for snacks only accepts coins. Woke up at 4:30 am as a dumptruck was backjng up in their parking lot, right next to the windows of one side of our hotel 😕 The hotel Service people were very friendly and helpful. I’d stay there again.

The property itself is fine. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was better than average. Trying to get your room cleaned is another story. We stayed for 6 nights and were told by the desk that housekeeping was available every night. 2 nights go by we ask to have our room cleaned. Came back room is not cleaned. 4 nights go by and we ask room to be cleaned at the front desk. Room not cleaned again. Funny after night 5 they call my phone immediately after we leave and ask if we want the room cleaned. At that point I cleaned the room myself.

Room was nice, food was good and staff was nice. The reason for not being perfect.. hot tub was not working. If that would have been known I would have booked elsewhere. Also they say there was an update to the hotel that removed the cinema, that's also a negative. Need to put cinema back and fix the hot tub and update the outside it looks really ran down.

Over all good stay. staff friendly and room clean. No caffeinated coffee in room or wash cloths.Towels pretty thin.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was well-equipped, very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was great, with lots of choice, quality items and real eggs!

The staff was friendly and attentive. Everything was clean. The bathroom was very nice. The breakfast was decent. However, there were some things in disrepair - like the broken lamp in the corner. Further, the bed was much too firm for our comfort, and the heating unit didn’t have an option for the fan to run continuously - which resulted in broken sleep through the night. I wouldn’t refuse to stay here again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
