Buxted Park Country House

I really wanted to write and thank you, for all the care and attention you gave our Lucy on the 12th May. What a wedding! I am sure you can agree, that being in the industry and then being a guest is always a worrying experience. But, I was assured if you were on duty the day would run like a dream, and how right Joanne from Elegant Stationery was! You are a master of your craft! Being so poorly and yet still so eager to take care of the Baker/Maher clan, in such a caring fashion was – especially for me – a complete relief! We all felt in very safe hands from the top of the day, and for once I was able to be a guest and not worry about a thing. Your attention to detail, moving décor to maximise the spend Lucy and James had invested in their day, so that everywhere looked beautiful and en theme was brilliant! Thank you so much for seamlessly thinking of moving the décor and dressing the fireplaces in the wedding breakfast room. The organisation of the ceremony was superb, down to queuing the bridesmaids in on such a windy day! Your care of Grandad was lovely, going above and beyond to ensure he was safe and well for the whole time he was with you. Amazing! Crediting Fi for her beautiful pinging was lovely, and how we enjoyed her harp – something Lucy always wanted for her wedding day. The wedding breakfast was faultless. You are the best master of ceremonies I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I can now see, having judged Buxted last year for TWIA in the hotel category that all the couples feedback that continually refer to you is 100% accurate. The meal was delicious, the plates piping hot – sadly a rarity these days elsewhere – and the service perfection! The evening celebrations went off without a Hitch with Limelight brilliantly looking after our families and friends, perfectly as ever. The evening burritos were a brilliant idea and enjoyed by all. Thank you for taking the time to come and say goodbye, for being so incredibly kind, and most importantly for giving Lucy and James the best wedding day ever. You, sir, are quite simply a star! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The Orangery restaurant is a must if you’re in the area, the food is delicious and the staff are so friendly and attentive. The pork and black pudding terrine was delightful as was the chicken and chorizo skewer with scrumptious sweet potato fries - highly recommend this restaurant

Another wonderful stay at Buxted Park Hotel, we attended the Hidden Springs Winetasting and tasting menu event and I can truly say we had an incredible time we also combined it with celebrating our daughters birthday too and without doubt the staff made our stay another memorable experience. We love spending time at Buxted Park either for family occasions, or just for dinner and drinks or a quick lunch and it always feels like home and that we are amongst friends. Its always so special to see Marc and his team, we were married at Buxted Park nearly 8 years ago and Marc was our Master of Ceremony and he holds a special place in our hearts. When ever we visit it is so nice to see Jean Francois and Phil Graham who are also so friendly and professional. We would also like to mention on this occasion too Hannah on Reception, Ben who assisted us also when checking in and my daughter and her boyfriend would like to thank Vlad behind the bar for his great cocktails. I would also like to thank the team working on the Wine Tasting evening who ensured a special evening was had by all. Thank you for making our stay another memorable one and we will see you all on our next visit.

Another great evening at Buxted Park Hotel . We were made so welcome as always. Our guests 2 friends over from USA enjoyed an excellent dinner with us in the beautiful orangery. We stayed the night and had a great breakfast in the morning . Hope to be back soon .

Lovely hotel, staff amazing,food geogeous will definitely go back Have a lot going on over the summer festivals etc! Rooms are well maintained restaurant over looks the Lawn a lovely peaceful experience the staff make you feel like it's your own home!

Wow. Attended a friends wedding at this marvellous venue. The architecture is incredible as are the grounds. The staff are A class and worked tremendously hard without fault. Marc, Master of Ceremonies, truly is a Master! He was fabulous. He remembered each guest in their own right, ensuring every person had the best experience they could. The Bride and Groom were treated as the Prince and Princess they deserved to be treated as. The food was amazing. We had lamb that melted in the mouth, dauphinois potatoes cooked to perfection and an array of beautiful vegetables. The starter and pudding were of equal quality and perfection. We didn’t stay the night but so wish we had. But we will! Thank you Marc, and your amazing team, for the most fabulous, brilliant day with the most professional and friendly team. We really couldn’t have asked for more.

Great Sunday lunch - 4 courses ,all at the highest quality and at a reasonable price in today’s costly world. Top service from the staff, fronted by Marc and served by Alice and Jean-Francois in the best professional way. I will return for more great service and food. Recommended.

I would like to thank Gemma for assisting me with organising my husband's special birthday. Everything was superb, the room looked fantastic, the food was as always delicious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choice of meal and made such positive comments. Many thanks to the Chef and his team as we know with the Jazz lunch he must have had an extremely busy kitchen, but for us it all went very smoothly. I knew with Marc the F&B Manager at the helm, the service would be perfect and of course, it was and he was ‘on form’ and amused our guests no end – they like us, loved him, and were so complimentary about him and felt, as we do, he is an exceptional asset to the hotel. So our grateful thanks go to Marc and his assistant on the day as we could not have asked for anything more – we were looked after superbly and just love coming back to Buxted Park as we know how well we shall be looked after by everyone and we shall now look forward to the Wine Tasting event in June. Many thanks again Buxted Park for a brilliant day/celebration.

A lovely afternoon tea in a beautiful setting overseen by the highly entertaining Jean Francois and a lovely young man whose name I can’t remember, sorry. An absolute treat and an experience I will not forget, we were so well looked after and the food was simply delicious.
