Great hotel with great staff. Very friendly and attended staff always smiling. The rooms are nice and clean. The beds unfortunately have memory foam madrasses wich are not good for my back. Otherwise fantastic place with fantastic staff. The restaurant is also great with great quality food. Great value.

I stay at Ramshof quite often for business. All the staff (hotel and restaurant) is very kind and the quality of the restaurant is very high. I am Italian so, you know, we are picky eaters but in this place you can always find good dishes. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, there is no minibar.

To start with the positives: the restaurant offers a nice choice of game dishes, and the courses that are prepared in a hearty traditional manner (think gravy) are actually very nice indeed. Sadly, the chef (or management?) seems to feel that adding ‘class’ (by drizzling thin lines of sauce onto plates) and ‘international flair’ (by using posh names for food) is called for. That does get confusing quickly. For example, two of us ordered “Tataki of Jacks Creek Australian Black Angus, Asparagus, Wasabi, Ginger and wild prawn”. What we got were 5 thin slices of grey, dry roast beef with mayo (!), accompanied by three half-inch cuts of green asparagus, a fried prawn, and a sprinkling of flowery herbs. This would have been disappointing as a 6-EUR-dish; they charge ＞EUR16. So beyond the pretence, cost is an issue. The four of us ended up paying ＞EUR200 for a two-course lunch, incl. one glass of wine or beer each. Wouldn't recommend this...

Sind am 1 Mai dort gewesen,wollten nur was trinken ,nach 15 Min.war noch kein Kellner da.Bin dann rein gegangen um zu fragen ob um jemand Getränke bringen könnte,darauf wurde geantwortet wenn wir mal Zeit haben ,kommt jemand.Meine Antwort darauf,danke dann fahren wieder. Scheinen auf Gäste die nur was trinken wollen keinen Wert zulegen.

Waren wegen einem Geburtstagsessen im Restaurant. Essen war gut in der Qualität sowie in den Portionsgrößen. Der Service kann hier leider nicht mithalten. Es war genügend Personal vorhanden, diese haben uns aber wenig beachtet, unser Nachtisch wurde vergessen an die Küche zu geben. Trotz extra gebrachtem Besteck schien es niemanden zu kümmern das wir mehr als 35 Minuten warteten. Selbst in dieser Zeit kam keiner vorbei auch nicht um nach weiteren Getränke Wünschen zu fragen, trotz gut sichtbarem Tisch direkt an der Bar. Auf Nachfrage wurde dann klar das der Nachtisch vergessen wurde. Kann mal passieren, kein Weltuntergang, aber etwas mehr wie eine hingemurmelte Entschuldigung wäre der Situation angemessen gewesen. Das geht besser.

Wir waren mit meinen Eltern abends um 18:30 Uhr verabredet und haben uns auf einen gemütlichen Abend gefreut. Das Essen war gut, aber leider konnten wir uns kaum verstehen, weil es um uns herum so laut war. Nachdem wir gegessen hatten, haben wir bezahlt und sind gegangen. Unzumutbar diese laute Umgebung. Das war das letzte Mal, das wir uns dort zum Essen treffen.

- Service war nur vom Feinsten, von Anfang bis Ende - Auswahl an Speisen sehr gut, genau wie der Geschmack -sehr aufmerksames Personal, man hat sich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt - gern wieder, freuen uns bereits jetzt schon auf den nächsten Besuch
