Swapnagandha Resort

Rooms are non a/c , is dark and has no basic facilities like table cupboards. It has huge mosquito nets at ceiling which can not be closed, so it was terribly hot at day and cold at night. Washroom is dark. Room door has gaps so small bugs can crawling. Room service is not there. Parking is far away. Food is average, if you go late it will be cold. Definitely not 4 star and not worth 8+k price!

Visited this with my wife and daughter Positives Good view of mountains Sunset view Waterfall track Nice infinity pool Pottery demo and mehendi Issues Right next to chorla ghat main road. Can easily hear all the noise of vehicles passing by. Food is monotones, tastes similar in every meal and needs improvement No activities for kids accept swimming pool. Difficult to keep little ones engaged for two days. No TV in the room Most importantly, room needs maintenance, though they are clean and neat there were multiple places where they just had mosquitoes net in wall separation no glass/concrete wall. Was getting cold wind throughout the night and lead to cold to my daughter and myself. Also, it’s a security threat as anyone (human/animal) can easily break the net and get into room. No cctv spotted around the walkway/near room.

Medicine/first aid box didn’t had basic medicine . Had to wait whole night to get it. Staff was courteous though to suggest local remedies. Most importantly, room needs maintenance. There were multiple places where they just had mosquitoes net in wall separation no glass/concrete wall. Was getting cold wind throughout the night and lead to cold to my son. The rooms are very basic poorly designed and uncomfortable. The bed is very hard and there is nowhere to sit. The balcony has chairs but no table. The shower drain was blocked and clearly hadn't been cleaned, was full of indescribable filth.

Will never recommend for family trip. Over rated place, property is very good but very poorly maintained They don't have good option of food to serve, half of thing in the menu is not available and their standard lunch and dinner is very oily and not at all kids friendly food. More over no network, no wifi and no room service and even our personal drinks are not allowed in restraunts. Being in Goa drinks are too expensive so better take your own or better never go

There are innumerable places to escape the daily urban grind. This is one of them but. CONs first -No personnel seen around the walkways and common areas expect at the restaurant and reception area.Hence security is compromised Didn't find any CCTV either. . -Below average mattress and sheets with foul smell. -No toiletries in washroom expect for soap in cling wrap (should have been paper wrap if they wanna preach pollution and environment. Maybe toiletries available on request. -Not recommended for kids as they might be scared of this environment and no particular activity for them other than pool. -No room service, but can carry stuff from bar/restaurant to room which is not practical. -Three simple buffet meals included, ok taste, except for the pickles. -Hardly 6 items available on a la carte, maybe couple more on weekends. -Guests need to carry their plates back to the counter after eating, incuding all the a la carte serving plates and saucers which is quite absurd. -No latches in any washroom doors throughout the resort, therefore difficult with kids and disoriented partners. -No wardrobe/ shelves in rooms - maybe because they're prone to mold and fungi due to moist conditions PROs -Life in lap of nature. -Serene and some of the best of what nature has given us. -Valley and waterfall views are amazing, to say the least. -Forest and waterfall tekking organised. Also local dance alternate days -Can encounter certain unique creatures while walking around with a sharp eye. -Good spread of pickles at the restaurant. Other than forest and nature experience everything else is average. *** has again made compromises. Most of the service and restaurant staff are locals and are kind enough but they have been given instructions on what not to do. Cost and expense cutting measures lead to below-par service and disappointing experience. However, I wouldn't have any complaint if the tariff was 60% lesser as most of CONs are what one finds in random bus station lodges and that's expected.

We selected mid september, unfortunately it was still raining heavily as such could not participate in trekking. Cottage booked by us had stunning view of vajra waterfalls. Staff is good and so is housekeeping.Pacakage including Breakfast, lunch& dinner is only option as there are no nearby places to eat. Only Jio network is available and WiFi only at the reception area. Almost equidistant from Goa or Belgavi airports. Suggested visit only between November to April as rains can play spoil sport in rest of the months. Good for 1/2 days break for those who enjoy nature. They also have nearby resort called wildernest which is surrounded by jungle and even better.

We stayed for 1 night and the total exp was awesome, will defiantly recommend specially couple to stay here at in rainy and winter season would be great exp View form Room . View from Restaurant and the complete premises is awesome. They have another properties called Wildernest we stayed there as well for 1 night Another great exp is of their slope train by which you can go from one property to another one

Stayed with my family over the weekend . Upside: It was back to nature, beautiful views, infinity swimming pool, rustic, treks , lamp dance, loved the use of natural wood everywhere not forgetting the trip to their second resort next door called Wildernest by the cable car which was exciting. Downside and some suggestions: Room : very very basic, just a bed , dirty windows, one towel, no amenities in washroom, blanket with a stale smell and not very clean. Suggestions: Bed should face the view of the valley, a tea coffee maker in room will be a blessing, some basic shampoo / moisturiser / face towel in the washroom will be helpful, replace existing slippery tiles with anti skid tiles in the bathroom, Curtains that are not half way falling off the hooks , some chairs inside the room will be great as the room is huge but empty etc etc .. Food: Lunch was fine, home made , basic meal , nice setting ( tables could have been wooden too and not glass as looked scratched and dirty) . Dinner: Very average, hardly any selection , no dessert except for some watery sweet liquid . Breakfast: Very basic . can easily add toast and a live egg counter though can order eggs. no accompaniments provided and barely any fruit except some raw papaya . No tea coffee maker in room, so would be nice to have access to tea coffee in the restaurant at all times for house guests without charge. Evening tea - Average. Activities: They keep you busy . all good if you are the adventurous kind or else just chill by the pool . The lamp dance was a great touch including the pottery class . Lots of nature and beautiful places to just sit and relax. MUST - have an attendant to clear bottles, dirty dishes left behind by guests and incase of an emergency. There was no one in sight. Overall: Will I come back again : Don't think so as did not feel it was value for money though has fantastic potential if they upgrade ... not to a swanky hotel but just improve the room and amenities and food selection / quality and retain the Nature and environment which is a big plus for this property. Staff was polite and courteous .
