The Victoria Falls Deluxe Suites

I came in december for 2 nights. What i found in the room: Pros: hot shower Cons: Windows without mosquito nets ( that were left open by the staff) No hangers for cloths Ripped towels Broken dustbin Room with bugs and mosquitoes Food: Expensive and terrible ( fish was so oily ) and potatoes poor done Services: I waited for the food 1 hour, and for the wine also ( it was also cooking)

We booked after a strong recommendation by a friend. In the past we have stayed mainly in hotels but we struggled with the hustle and bustle because we did not have young children. We decided to try this accommodation after hearing glowing reviews. The location is perfect for those who prefer a tranquil environment. It is located just outside the city centre which was ideal for us. I understand a taxi from the hotel to the city centre can be around US5. We were also informed (grape vine) that the staff can provide transportation though we did not confirm this, we had our own car. I have stayed in numerous locations around the world and I must say this was unique and I am already looking forward to visiting again. We parked our car, checked in and came out again after a few minutes and to our surprise, our car had been washed! The staff were very polite and friendly. The manager ensures that everyone receives a personalised service. We were blown away by the sheer size of the rooms! It almost felt like we were in a self contained flat without the cooking facilities. My favourite was the queen size bed which was really comfortable, I slept like a baby. The deco is quite authentic, even the ceiling looked nice. The cherry on top was the double doors leading to our private outside sitting area where we had our breakfast every morning. Now that’s what I call a personalised service. They have a restaurant on site with a personal chef who takes orders prior to cooking. We only had dinner here once and it did not disappoint. Some hotels allow check in and check out at specific times. Well, this doesn’t happen here. We were asked when we wanted to check in and out, we checked in just before 1pm and checked out just before 2pm. Booking activities is available from the reception but it’s not a hard sell. Khomondo provides all activities from this hotel. We compared their prices online to other tour companies and we found their prices reasonable. We booked all our activities with them.

Although it is a bit far from the entrance to the Falls - we had a lovely stay. It is able to walk to the center of town but it is better, and easy, to get a taxi. Breakfast was very good and they were willing to prepare the eggs any way we want - omelets, French toast etc. The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. There good have been more light in our bathroom.

Where do I start? TC and his team have gone above and beyond to make our stay memorable and outstanding - they delivered! Pleasant, helpful, thoughtful and attentive. A great team who worked effortlessly to make our stay enjoyable and entertaining. A personal thank you to TC for the amazing service. Well done and keep doing what you do best. We will be back!!

We originally intended to go in December but had to reschedule because of covid complications. We went a party of 4 ladies. From the airport ride to the hotel we had an amazing person who was very helpful. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful and the rooms and hotel is amazing. We were ferried to and from every place we wanted to go to. Staff are very hands on. Loved the personal touch. Thank you TC and your staff. We loved our stay and we will definitely be back.

We managed to get a spot during their winter special and this was the best deal. A luxurious place with a homely feel. I absolutely loved it. Check in was swift and all the Covid protocols were observed. I can't even describe the rooms. They were just spectacular, spacious, extra clean and luxurious. The staff were always there to assist and lend a hand. The only problem was that they constantly ran out of things in the kitchen or bar. I really got value for money and l would recommend that you stay at this place when you visit the Victoria Falls. Special mention to the manager TC who organised the game drive and sunset cruise for us. He also went the extra way to book the Boma Dinner for us. He always tried to make sure we were comfortable.

Risulta come un 5 stelle ma non gli darei più di 3 stelle. Ci sono molte cose da migliorare. La colazione: una mattina era bella imbandita ed avevamo a disposizione varie opzioni, i due giorni restanti invece era vuoto e abbiamo dovuto ricordarci noi cosa c’era il giorno prima per farci portare qualcosa. La camera: con il piumone è molto caldo ma fortunatamente c’è l’aria condizionata, i letti però sono stretti e veramente corti (io sono 1,65mt ma mio marito 1,78mt….). Personale gentile.
