Very friendly people. The room was very clean and the staff took their time to ensure all was clean. I would gladly stay there again .

Owner was very nice but units needed updating. Restaurants in immediate area were closed.
Room had an unpleasant odour. Bathroom extremely
small.

The staff is great but the room has some musty smell from humidity which is high in the area. The room is clean but the furniture and furnishings are a bit dated.

An old school motel with average room and mediocre furnishings. While very clean, linens etc a bit worn to the point of bedspread having a noticeable odor. We arrived from ferry at North Sydney in early evening. Adjacent restaurant not open and local close spots all closing by 7. Few open in morning either. Road noise diminished thru evening which was good

Even if a fairly rudimentary motel, it is in excellent condition and in a perfect location to explore the Cabot Trail and Sydney/Glace Bay. Wonderful and generous host in Audrey - highly recommended and if we're lucky enough to get back there we'll stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Audrey made us feel like we were longtime friends. Our room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The view from our porch was lovely. This property is very conveniently located without being “in town”. We would definitely stay here again.
