La Loft Apartments Unley

The fact this place was available at short notice during school holidays should have been a red flag. Urgent deep clean and maintenance required! We stayed in a 2 bedroom apar**ent and it was absolutely disgusting. On arrival there was a strong stench of cigarette smoke which had clearly permeated the soft furnishings as it barely dissipated despite leaving windows open the entire 3 night stay. The curtains and carpets are stained, smelly, and need replacing. The ensuite blind was in such poor condition that we couldn’t close it (no privacy!). The bathrooms (particularly showers) hadn’t been properly cleaned for quite some time, with sludge in the shower screen track and lots of mould, dirty bin lid. We wouldn’t stay here again or recommend this accommodation to anyone else unless it has been deep cleaned and soft furnishings replaced. This is unfortunate because the location is amazing and the apar**ent is very spacious. So much potential let down by lack of maintenance. I have provided specific feedback direct to La Loft, but have not received a reply.
