Courtyard Traverse City

This hotel proves you can slap the word “Marriott “ on just about anything. Room smelled. Elevator didn’t work. Didn’t get anywhere near the breakfast because the line ups were long and we had a flight to catch. Front desk was understaffed and overwhelmed. Stay here if you have no other option.

My discount couldn’t be applied due to “third party booking” via *******. My info wasn’t available upon checkin. I had to give all info again x2. Just a minor inconvenience for time and defeats the point of doing so prior to checking in. Our room is not a suite. It is over charge for the quality of the room.

I like to say thank you to courtyard for helping make my son’s wedding special . Everyone from friends to family had No problem with their check in. We were happy to see the coffee shop open after a long drive. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I recommend staying here

We really enjoyed our stay. Brandon at the front desk was great. Room was clean and nice. Pool and hot tub were great. We got food one night and it was very good as well. Full bar and they also serve Starbucks coffee as well. Very enjoyable stay, we will be back.

We stayed for one night on our way to Traverse City. The room was clean but the hotel experienced an electrical outage. We were able to get our key to the room, but no lights or any electricity. The indoor pool was also locked down so no swimming. We just left for dinner and when we returned a few hours later the electrical was on. Still could not access the indoor pool which was one of the reasons we choose this Marriott location. Oh well . . . just bad luck starting out on our getaway!

It was convenient to where we planned to go. The bathroom needs a flat surface of some kind between the shower and the toilet. The "breakfast" offerings were extremely limited and expensive.

These folks really did their absolute best to ensure the hotel was shipshape, and we left as happy campers. However, they forgot one thing: to clean our room. We left the room after the housekeepers had come through on the first morning, so that was understandable. However, we left the room before 9:30 a.m. the second morning, and still didn't get the room cleaned.

We stayed here for 2 nights because my husband won the 2 nights through work. Housekeeping never came after our first night so I called and when housekeeping came, she had a poor attitude. I told her that we only needed towels and the garbages emptied because we were back in the room at this point. Upon leaving this morning, my husband was told that we don’t get the receipt because it’s paid for by a third party. I check our credit card and we have two separate charges for $350 for incidentals. After speaking to 3 different people and 13 minutes of wasted time on the phone, the manager finally got it right. This hotel is very basic and way overpriced.
