The hotel is centrally located and I think that’s basically the sole reason I may consider staying at it again. Checking in was smooth (thanks to the HK colleague seconded from Ritz Carlton HK), and other than that, I think your hotel staff needs re-training, especially the concierge team! Terrible service and clueless! My friends who were also traveling were not as lucky at check-in. One wasn’t able to get his room at 6pm and was asked to wait (20 mins), and when he finally got his key, he went into the room where someone was already in it. Who could expect this kind of mistake happened in a “modern luxury hotel”? My other friend nearly traumatized trying to check-in with a staff who can’t really speak English and don’t understand what “confirmation number” means. To me, the only disappointment was no upgrade at all even I was a Titanium member then. But well, I of course understand it is “subject to availability”. Hotel itself and its location is superb and definitely create a modern luxury feeling. But I’m staying in a HOTEL and HOSPITALITY and SERVICE should be the most important. And Edition Tokyo fails in all aspect, and maybe this is how you want to create a “lasting memory”? The short lady at the concierge was rude and impolite. When I was trying to ask about the timetable of the airport bus and where the stop is, she simply said why don’t you check it online cos you need to use your credit card and book anyway! I cannot believe this kind of service in Japan, let alone at a 5-star Marriot managed hotel. In the end I let my friend to handle it and she told me she talked to 3 different concierge colleagues and each gave a different answer, in the end it had to escalate up to the duty manager to get a concrete response on how to take the airport bus to Narita. Crazy! Then on separate occasions we went to the lobby bar. We requested to sit by the window and the waiter there said “it is reserved” on every occasion. In the end of course the sofa by the window was empty (and on one occasion it was empty till the bar was closed). I got annoyed and asked for the restaurant manager and I said “if you need a minimum spending just say so, why you have to put us at the bar table?” She said she would look into it and of course no one has yet to give us a good reason why is it the case. And service at the bar was appalling and to a certain extent I would even use “racist” to put it. As a Titanium with Marriot Bonvoy and a Globalist with World of Hyatt, I must say I made a terrible mistake staying at Tokyo Edition. I am sure I would receive better treatment and a better holiday experience if I stay at Andaz Tokyo which is across the street!

Había una toalla mojada en el armario. Cuando llamé, pude cambiar de habitación inmediatamente a pesar de que era medianoche. Creo que el servicio es excelente en general, pero puede haber diferencias individuales en el personal. (Como en cualquier hotel) Como era de esperar, el personal del salón responderá a varias solicitudes con una sonrisa. Siempre estoy agradecido.

This review will be hard to write, it's a very nice hotel but I also find it hard to recommend to tourists. Room: The Tokyo Tower view room is very pretty at night. The bed is comfy. I don't like having the closet on the opposite end of the sleeping area though, I find that very inconvenient when packing/getting ready. And for a hotel that opened in 2016, that TV is tiny and needs to be larger. The Aesop products are nice, and come in big bottles with pumps (which I prefer over tiny bottles). They also have the coolest slippers! Service: Concierge helped me reserve dinner, and had confirmation letter ready at check-in. Check-in/out was fast and easy. They offer free HH in lounge, I was pleasantly surprised to find live performance! Food offering during HH is pretty basic, but that's ok because I'd rather be eating in the city anyways. Evening turndown service could be enhanced a bit, may need to borrow a page from your colleagues at Grand Hyatt ;) Location: This is the one thing that truly sucks about this place for tourists. Toranomon Hills is a very business-heavy area, a ghost town after 6 p.m. There's no department stores, no shopping, only two convenience stores nearby, barely any dining options after 9 p.m. To do anything you'll need to get on a subway/taxi from hotel. The walk to the subway station is frankly a little longer than I like, but it's indoor underground which is nice for cold and rainy days. Overall, I would recommend a stay here if you're on a work trip and your office is in the area. Or you just have to check this place off your bucket list because of its design or the room with Tokyo Tower view. As a typical tourist in Tokyo who values convenience and accessibility to restaurants and shopping, I probably won't be back. It's a shame because this place has so much potential if it was in a better area, but I guess you can't have it all!

Este hotel es hermoso. Situado en el centro, amistoso y útil personal y muy limpio y cómodo. Mi esposa y mis niños (de edades 10) y me quedé aquí. El hotel tiene todo lo que necesita. Hay lavandería, bebidas en el lobby y una 711 puertas a la puerta. Muy cerca de las estaciones de metro y buenos restaurantes están alrededor. El techo de la habitación es bonito. Altamente recomendado. Reserva con confianza. Volveremos. Gracias Sui Akasaka!

２ Ha estado una noche, pero desde la estación de la barrera de la línea de campo de miles de generaciones hasta la estación de Wang de Liu Jiangshan está muy cerca, muy conveniente, también hay pimientos y el agua es barata. Io e mio marito abbiamo dormito qui per tre notti e siamo stati molto bene. La posizione è il loro punto forte, in quanto è vicinissima alla stazione metro. La colazione non è inclusa ma all'ingresso sono sempre disponibili a tutti maschere viso, pettini da viaggio, tè ecc. Unica pecca, non c'è il distributore gratuito di acqua che invece abbiamo trovato in tutti gli altri hotel in cui abbiamo pernottato in Giappone. Le stanze sono molto piccole ma è lo standard per loro, infatti facevamo fatica ad aprire le valigie. Nonostante ciò, hanno tutto il necessario, phon, ciabatte, bollitore, aria condizionata ecc.

Top 3 things we like at the hotel: 1. Breakfast - it has everything we needed to feel full before a long day of exploring. It has fresh vegetables and fruits, coffee, milk, juice, breads, noodles, soup, and rice w/viands. It has yogurt and cereals for our little one as well. Definitely our favorite meal of the day. 2. Cleanliness - both our trash cans and our towels were cleaned and changed daily. 3. Smooth check-in/out - the machine/robot was fast and reliable. One thing to consider: 1. It's a 5-min walk to the nearest station - Tameike Sanno. We did not mind this much though because it has four subway lines (Ginza, Namboku, Chiyoda, and Marunouchi that we were able to utilize during our trip). There are convenience stores (7/11 and Family Mart), Yoshiike supermarket, and restaurants in the vicinity as well.

¡Siempre nos encanta quedarnos en el hotel Tokyo Prince! Esta vez fue una habitación más grande, así que nos disfrutamos plenamente de nuestra estadía. La ubicación es muy cerca del vendedor de Tokio y fácil de ir al aeropuerto de Haneda. Las cosas son muy amables y amables que nos hacen sentir cómodos y están dispuestos a ayudarnos. En Tailandia también nos disfrutamos de un curso en uno de los restaurantes japoneses que era muy delicado y maravilloso! ¡Recomendamos a otros que intenten probar si quieren probar comida japonesa adecuada! Una cosa que me decepcionó esta vez fue que el escritorio de la habitación era sucio, parecía que el limpieza no era una perra adecuada, así que tuve que limpiarlo por mí mismo. ( parecía que los clientes anteriores estaban todavía en una mesa ) Tokio Hotel Precio es uno de los hoteles tradicionales y famosos legendarios, por lo que espero que puedan mejorar su método de limpieza y asegurarse de que se limpie antes de que los nuevos clientes vengan y - ¡Quédate! Y cuando nos quedamos allí antes de que hubo una máquina de café pero no parece esta vez, así que también fue un golpe decepcionado...espero que puedan proporcionarlo de nuevo... ¡Nos quedamos cómodos y volveremos cuando volvamos a Japón!

It’s a new hotel largely meant for business travellers but it works excellently for tourists too. The staff were very well trained and did everything they could to help make our stay comfortable and the place was spotless. Location was great, Akasaka is a nice part of Tokyo, we were three minutes walk from bustling bars and restaurants, one of which served great food at OK prices, we were near three Metro stations and we could walk to the imperial palace from the hotel. Breakfast was quite expensive but worth it. It was heavily Japanese with some leanings to the westerners but we loved the flavours and textures of the Japanese offerings, breakfast here was a great start to the day. An interesting element was the direct connection to a convenience store from the ground level of the hotel and having an Irish pub next door was a plus. It’s a good place to stay if Akasaka is where you want to be.

El hotel es relativamente nuevo (enero 2020). El diseño de las zonas públicas es amplio, sabroso y con ojos de calidad y detalle. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas. No demasiado grande - 26 m2 - pero muy prácticamente arreglado. cama confortable, gran ducha! , instalaciones, etc. El desayuno es un placer - una elección de un buen menú. El servicio es impeccable. Mucho personal - pero todos muy bien formados y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Y el precio que pagamos era muy razonable. Finalmente, pero no menos importante, la ubicación es perfecta. En medio de la trendy Roppongi. Todo en conjunto - una apuesta segura cuando se queda en Tokio.
