El hotel está muy bien situado, muy bien situado, muy bien situado, muy limpio, muy tranquilo. 10-15 Está a pie de cualquier ubicación interesante. El restaurante fue el mejor (encontré) en la ciudad. La piscina es agradable, no calentada, demasiado fría para finales de mayo. Muchas habitaciones de aparcamiento!!! NO ES QUE BUENA. No hay servicio de habitaciones, por lo tanto no es un hotel 4*, como se ha publicado. La sala de cenas está fuera del hotel, así que en un día lluvioso hay que caminar y mojarse. No quiero vestirme completamente durante una estancia de invierno sólo para tener mi café de la mañana. En la habitación, el aire acondicionado funcionó como un fan. La caja fuerte se rompió. El servicio de recepción era amable, pero no podía ofrecer ninguna solución. Después de dos noches, por un pago adicional, tuvimos un ”apartamento”, con una terraza sin una mesa para poner un vaso. Los ciegos venecianos estaban en parte funcionando. El aire acondicionado estaba muerto. El día siguiente alguien lo reparó. En el baño no funcionó una bola. La habitación estaba a punto de entrar. La habitación estaba a punto de entrar. El otro, con una llave electrónica que sólo se puede usar después de salir del ascensor y subir las escaleras en un solo piso. Posh hotel, very clean, very big rooms, amiable personnel. And the excellent argentinian restaurant at the ground floor is a must Is rather close to city center (walking distance), couple supermarkets nearby. Very quiet, the restaurant is not causing any noise.

We stayed at this hotel with a tour group and it was generally, quite satisfactory. It was situated about 1 km from the centre of the city and away from the crowds and thus, was conveniently located. The walk to the city centre was an easy and flat one. While the hotel did back onto a railway line and our room faced that direction, our sleep wasn't disturbed. Rooms were comfortable but not huge. The one glaring drawback was that the breakfast area really wasn't big enough to cope with the number of guests, with queues forming for everything. In fact, the area was like a pop up breakfast room, with things stored in cupboards around the room. Breakfast itself was average. There is plenty of parking for guests.

Yo estaba allí sólo para dormir y desayuno por una noche, pero todo fue perfecto. El estacionamiento es grande, seguro y por nada, la recepcionista amable me ha esperado extra, aunque el cheque fue tarde. El hotel está cerca del centro y está tranquilo, hay una estación de servicio y un McDonalds en la esquina. El desayuno fue muy bueno, incluso Moussaka había! En realidad no puedo criticar nada, fue todo lo que esperaba por el precio!

Hacía tiempo que buscábamos un buen hotel en Timisoara. El año pasado lo encontramos y este año nos sorprendió con pequeños detalles de mejora que sugerimos el año pasado. Su directora, Elena Zoocan, está muy comprometida con la formación del personal y se nota. También quería agradecer especialmente por su excelente trabajo al personal del desayuno, a Cristina de recepción por ayudarnos por encima de sus obligaciones y a Razvan del restaurante.

What I thought was a nice experience at Savoy Hotel turned out to be unnecessary stress and an awful experience. Everthing went well until we left and we received a very passive aggressive message written in a very unprofessional tone. We only stayed for one night, we discovered we had a small balcony so my mom went out for a smoke (outside in plain air with the curtains shut and the balcony door closed so that smoke won't get in). In the message we received we were accused of smoking INSIDE the room, which couldn't be more far from the truth. We were forced to pay a fine, because someone SAW my mom smoking, NOT because the room smelled badly or because it was dirty. They said they will have to relocate the next guests to another room which obviously is not necessary since the room doesn't smell badly, because I repeat the smoke didn't get into the room. We agreed to pay the fine just to get it over with, however the passive aggressiveness continued with them telling us that they will make an exception and they won't put us on a ”black list”. We have traveled for over 20 years all over this world and never were we accused of smoking inside the room, since it was always done om the balcony, if one was available. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and the tone as they could have just mentioned the fine. however, they wrote a whole paragraph saying that if we don't pay the fine they would have to call the police and sue us. They have also explained that it wasn't in fact a balcony and that their rooms with balconies have furniture in them. Aparently furniture is what makes a balcony worth of the name ”balcony”. I now realise that probably they were upset that we didn't book a room with what they call a balcony that was obviously was more expensive and the fine became the money difference. :) I would like to mention for clarity that it was a clear space outside the room with an actual door, and it could easily fit two people. I regret not having taken any pictures to show you. Not to mention, we booked a triple room and there were only two sets of towels and toiletries and we were 3 people, so their service was far from perfect... Ironically, I have worked in the services industry for a while now and I have never encountered such agressiveness from the management team. If I ever were to talk like that to a client, I would lose my job. They will probably leave a very passive aggressive comment reply to this as well, so just be aware of that in case there are useless new accusations.

I have chosen Mercure Timisoara and it was the best decision because this place really gave me the perfect accommodation experience. The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet area close to the city center and from the 4th floor (where my room was located) it offers a great view. The room was astonishing: spacious, modern design, all amenities needed and a large comfortable bed for an excellent sleep. On top of that, the technology inside the room was amazing because everything is digitally controlled using a tablet. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast that offered a lot of choices and all of them were great. There is an outstanding restaurant inside the hotel where I had both lunch and dinner and I can easily say I had a real international dining experience because the menu includes dishes from all over the world. Special thanks from my side to Mr. Florin Cojocaru (the hotel’s general manager) for his great hospitality, friendly attitude and willingness to help me with anything needed in order to have the perfect stay at the hotel. I highly appreciated that the management is really focused on creating the highest standards, so the guests can have the best experience during their stay at this hotel. Thanks to Mr. Cojocaru and his amazing team I had a wonderful accommodation experience.
