"I have chosen Mercure Timisoara and it was the best decision because this place really gave me the perfect accommodation experience. The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet area close to the city center and from the 4th floor (where my room was located) it offers a great view. The room was astonishing: spacious, modern design, all amenities needed and a large comfortable bed for an excellent sleep. On top of that, the technology inside the room was amazing because everything is digitally controlled using a tablet. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast that offered a lot of choices and all of them were great. There is an outstanding restaurant inside the hotel where I had both lunch and dinner and I can easily say I had a real international dining experience because the menu includes dishes from all over the world. Special thanks from my side to Mr. Florin Cojocaru (the hotel’s general manager) for his great hospitality, friendly attitude and willingness to help me with anything needed in order to have the perfect stay at the hotel. I highly appreciated that the management is really focused on creating the highest standards, so the guests can have the best experience during their stay at this hotel. Thanks to Mr. Cojocaru and his amazing team I had a wonderful accommodation experience."

"Yo daría este hotel 3.5 estrellas. La habitación misma era grande. Muy moderna y se sentía nueva. Todo era limpio y cómodo. La ubicación en la ciudad es buena. Desafortunadamente el desayuno es terrible. Fui la primera persona a llegar justo cuando se abrió. Las platas calientes estaban completamente frías. Cada mañana, platos, herramientas de servicio, bolas, u otros artículos estaban desaparecidos. No se puso en ninguno de ellos. El servicio de escritorio delantero también era perfeccionado. Si se hubieran reparado estas dos cosas, estaría muy apreciando este hotel."

"Está algo lejos del centro, unos 2 km, pero se puede ir andando. Por la noche no es muy recomendable volver a pie, ya que hay que pasar por muchas calles poco iluminadas y solitarias (aunque no tuvimos ningún problema). En Uber son unos 3-4 € desde el centro. El hotel tiene piscina (fresquita) y habitaciones tranquilas y cómodas. El desayuno es buffet muy variado. El precio es normal."

"First of all the ladies from the reception were great, very helpful and nice. The check in and check out were smooth. Big rooms, warm and sunny all day. It was very quite although the hotel was fully booked. Very clean, including the bathroom. The location may seem a bit further, but you get to the city center in 5 mins by cab, and also there is free parking. The breakfast was delicious, with a lot of varieties including pancakes :) Would definitely come back."

"Bueno, tiene todos los peros y alguna buena calificación. Las habitaciones y baños están muy bien, aunque por la noche nos quedamos sin agua caliente. Según recepción estaba lleno y, al parecer, se habían duchado todos al tiempo. (menuda disculpa para un hotel de 5 estrellas). El desayuno sin más, nada excepcional desde luego, tampoco se merece las 5 estrellas. Ponen ahí abajo que el personal mal, pues fue bastante aceptable. Y calidad, precio, yo diría que le sobra 1 estrella, al menos de momento. No conseguimos que bajasen la altura de la cuna para mi nieta, no sé si es que no tenían la llave adecuada. Eso sí, está situado en la carretera de entrada a la ciudad y hay ruido de coches, pero tengo que decir que la presencia y decoración es muy buena. Si mejoran los peros les doy las 5 estrellas sin duda."

"What a hotel! The room we got was very spacious. It was not that far from the centre at all. For the price, it is such a good deal! The furniture was modern, mostly scandinavian style. Made myself a tea with the amenities in it. It had parking outside of the hotel, which was private. The doors open with a code. The hotel didnt have a restaurant given it has 3 stars. But that was no problem as it is so close to the centre where you can get a great meal. Would recommend 100%."

"Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing and did not match the expectations created by the photos and description on Booking. The hotel is rated as 4 stars, but the reality of the room is far below that — honestly, it does not even reach the standard of a 2-star hotel. The room we stayed in looked neglected and poorly maintained. Cleanliness was unacceptable: there were hairs on the bathroom floor, visible dirt, stains and signs of mold, including on the hair dryer cable. This is completely unacceptable for any accommodation, especially one claiming a higher standard. The bathroom is one of the biggest problems. The water pressure in the shower is extremely low and water also leaks out around the hose. The bathtub cannot be used — it is basically just decorative. There is no window in the bathroom and the extractor fan barely works, so humidity and smells remain in the room. This makes the bathroom uncomfortable and unhygienic. Safety in the room is a serious concern. The lamp next to the bed is fixed with adhesive tape, and there are exposed cables coming out of the wall. Since the lamp is made of metal, this is potentially dangerous and poses a real risk of electric shock or fire. The lighting in the room is poor and incomplete — only half of the room is properly lit, and the bed area is badly illuminated. There are no power outlets next to the bed, which is very inconvenient. The bed itself is uncomfortable, the mattress is worn out, the pillows are very low quality, and the blanket is for one person only, even though the room is for two people. The minibar does not work at all. The Wi-Fi is unusable and barely works, so if you need internet for work, this is not the place. Parking is almost always full — although we were told it was included, in reality it is not guaranteed, and if you do not find a spot you have to pay 45 lei, which is not clearly communicated. The only positive aspect was the staff, who were polite and friendly. Overall, this hotel is seriously overrated and does not meet the standards of a 4-star property. There are major issues with cleanliness, comfort, functionality and even safety. I do not recommend this hotel and we will not return."
