Very close to the beach with nice environment

I can't recommend Pearle Beach Resort enough. The service here is by far the best I have ever experienced in a hotel and I have been lucky enough to visit lots of them. Every member of the team is friendly and welcoming and you are made to feel like part of the family. Sandy in particular made our stay special, always coming over to chat and giving us great advice on where to visit on the island. The restaurant team were all brilliant, Julietta,Julian,Ariella and everyone else (sorry I don't know all the names). Vikash and the other chefs always came out at meal times to check everything was perfect and chat to the guests. The food selection was good, there were different themed nights and always Mauritian food to try each day. There was always plenty for my boyfriend to eat who is vegetarian. We hired a car through the hotel, Luqmaan on reception was great at helping with this. I would definitely recommend this as a way of seeing the rest of the island. We love snorkelling and found that the beach the hotel is on, was for us the best on the island. You can swim very easily in the lagoon straight off the beach and see all sorts of different marine life,without needing to book a boat trip. We stayed in room 309 and it was perfect. This is one of the recently renovated rooms with a sea view. Sitting on the balcony at the end of each day and watching the sunset was my favourite thing to do. On arrival we were treated to a fruit platter and a bottle of fizz delivered to our room and a couple of welcome gifts. One night we were even invited for drinks with the management team in a 'secret' location. The housekeeping team were also brilliant. I loved that they visited the rooms on the evening to check if you needed anything even after they had already been earlier in the day. Damien from the entertainment team was great, I joined one of his aqua gym classes which was a laugh. He was quick to learn which guests were keen to join in activities and which ones preferred to observe and he didn't harass you. Patrick and the team in the bar were very friendly too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of coming to Mauritius. Just returned from six nights at this hotel. First, the positives....all the staff were friendly, helpful and kind. Always smiling and doing everything they could to make our stay special. For our anniversary we were deligjted to be greeted by bubbly, fruit and gifts in our room. Patrick in the bar gave us extra special trea**ent, thank you Patrick. Our room (221) was big, with a huge comfortable bed, loads of storage space, a great shower and pleasant decor. Loved our balcony which had a lovely view over the garden and out to sea giving beautiful view at sunset. The garden was beautifully kept and the beach above the sea line was soft sand kept very clean. You could walk along the sand to Flic n Flac one way along the front of bigger hotels (where you could buy drinks and food) the other way. Buses were close and there were some shops close by. The pool is warm and sunbeds are comfortable. You can have free boat trips for snorkelling on the reef and other water activities Now the negatives..the whole check in process was a nigh**are. Nearly all flights come in early but rooms are not available until at least 14.00. We were given a lovely welcome with a small tropical drink then had to wait about 4 hours until we could get in our room. We could not get all inclusive drinks or food..anything consumed had to be paid for. There was a room to change in but we were exhausted and unprepared so got overheated in our UK clothes on a sunbed in the shade. We lost a whole morning of our 6 day break and it was a terrible start. The first time we have ever had to do this and we have travelled extensively. There was only one toilet downstairs...behind the restaurant. So if you were by the pool or on the beach you had to walk through the restaurant. The manager did say this was being changed. Ice cream was not included in all inclusive...so not ideal for families. Everything had to be signed for. The beach and sea looked amazing but below the water line the seabed was covered in dead coral and sharp stones. Snorkeling was a disappoin**ent because much of the reef was dead. Some beautiful fishes out at sea but hardly any colour from coral. Food was OK but much the same each day. Would have liked more snack foods at lunch time. It was much the same as dinner. Breakfast was the same each day...reasonable selection of fruit, average pastries and omelettes cooked on a grill which could have been cleaner. Toiletries were provided but no bath robes, flannels as in some 4 star hotels. The phone did not work despite a very nice young man coming to mend it! So...all in all we enjoyed our stay, finding it to be worth the very reasonable price we paid. The staff and our room made it special. .

Pearle Beach Was one of the best holidays we have had the general manager mr David bundhoo. Put a anniversary meal on for us on the beach to celebrate our 40th Very hard working staff they can not do enough for you Mr David even put chips on for us . Very clean very tidy lovely rooms we was in room 304 over looking the pool and beach Mark & Carole

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Thanks to Mr. Ramparsad, who recommended the lobster dinner on the beach to us. Its one of the best. The breakfast also is amazing. Thank You Mr Ramparsad for your assistance and hospitality.

Since our last visit in 2022, we are delighted to report a remarkable transformation at Pearle Beach Resort & Spa. The management, under Mr. Nitish, has implemented significant improvements. Stepping into the lobby, the refreshed ambiance was immediately apparent. Our room too (Deluxe Club), had undergone a renovation, boasting modern furnishings and immaculate finishes. But the true highlight was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay, special thanks to Ms Jessica, Mr Nitish, Mrs Sandhya, Mrs Julietta. Most surprisingly, the on-site restaurant has undergone a culinary makeover. The menu offered a delightful variety, and the food itself was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Overall, the hotel has become a destination in itself, offering a perfect blend of comfort, style, and exceptional service. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay in Flic en Flacq.

Just returned to this fabulous hotel. We came last year and couldn't wait to come back. The best thing about this hotel is the team members and location which is on the beach the majority of rooms have a great sea view. Chef was always present at mealtimes and if you required something different always prepared it for you. Wednesday evenings are cocktail night in the garden. A great opportunity to meet other guests and team members. We had a few conversations with Mr Bundhoo who wanted to ensure our stay was good. The hotel is having a complete renovation from June to end September next year so intend coming back October 24 It's approx 30 minutes walk to centre of Flic en Flac or start of Tamarin but frequent buses near entrance to hotel will take minutes. Bus no 123. Jumbo's supermarket in centre of Flic en Flac, good prices. We used Emily for all our trips. Not expensive. She is based across the road, turn right approx 50 yards from the hotel. Big thank you to Patrick and Guilietta for making our stay wonderful but everyone was so warming and friendly.
