Au Coeur des Hôtes

A wonderful find for an overnight stop on our way to Germany. Room was spotlessly clean, well equipped with great attention to detail. Hosts were warm and welcoming and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended and we would go out of our way to stay here again.

Stayed one night whilst touring the area on my motorcycle and had an excellent stay. The place is fabulous, the owners obviously put a lot of hard work into the conversion. The room was great, the breakfast excellent and host welcoming & friendly. A special thanks to whoever dried my motorcycle seat in the morning following the early rain!

This is an amazing small quiet b & b establishment close to the ferry and shuttle terminals to rest before a long journey.

My only small criticism is a common problem , people are different sizes and the towels provided by the property were standard bath towels and do not cover the modestly of a larger person.

I don't usually write reviews unless something was very bad or very good. This falls into the latter category. The rooms are atractive, clean and tidy, the setting is great (lovely gardens), the breakfast was generous (egg, cheese, ham, bread, pastries, butter, jam, yogurt, fresh orange juice, coffee or range of teas). The hosts are super nice, friendly and accommodating. We were cycle touring for a few days using the B&B as a start and finish point. There was a space to leave our car while we were away. I would totally recommend this accommodation.

We just stayed one night, enroute back to Calais, from Netherlands. Au Coeur Des Hôtes is a wonderfully renovated farm building. Steenvoorde is a pretty town, with restaurants within easy walking distance. Our hosts were very welcoming & secure parking is available inside the gated courtyard. We had chamber 1 Accroche Coeur, which was a ground floor room, a good size, comfortable bed & lovely bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic - fruit/yougurt/cheese/ham/bread/croissant. Tasty & very nicely presented. A great stay & highly recommended.

Prestation haute gamme !!!!! Gîte magnifique, environnement super entretenu et agréable. Les chambres très spacieuses et très bien décorées. La propriétaire est très accueillante. N'hésitez pas un instant !
