I booked a room for three adults, and the booking confirmation clearly stated that the room was for three adults. However, upon arrival at the hotel, we were informed that the room was for two adults and one child. They changed the room for us, and we had to pay additional costs, even though this issue was entirely the hotel’s mistake. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you.

I was initially sceptical when I read over 5,000 positive reviews on this hotel, as many of them had been upgraded. However, we truly had a great time. The facility is amazing, and we stayed in building 8, which is closed to the dining area. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent. The dinner buffet costs RMB 138 on weekdays and 158 on weekends. The food was great, and there was a lot of seafood to choose from. The hotel is quite close to tourist attractions, but be aware that taxis can be quite expensive. They can cost RMB 50 or more compared to the DIDI taxi . So, it’s best to order a taxi via DIDI or online rather than catching one on the street or in front of the hotel. One place you must visit is Xu Shui Ancient City, which is the most well-documented museum in Shaoxing. It’s a walking distance away and free to visit.  All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We extended three nights more , and will definitely stay this hotel in the future.

Excelente hotel para viajeros de negocios, estar cerca de la estación de tren es una gran ventaja

Grand House Shaoxing was an 4000 years old village which had an ancient history, villagers surname Si (姒）were Dayu‘s (大禹)tomb guards for thousands of years. Now it is as a beautiful hotel with a lot of amenities ! Breakfast had many local specialties were very delicious ! It’s also had a big restaurant and wedding banquet hall ! Room is beautiful as in my photos. Hotel located only 4 KM from city centre, as taxi only cost less A$7. We stayed 3 nights, enjoyed peaceful country life, also the very busy tourist spot ! I must mention all the stuff in the hotel are so helpful, specially the young man who greeted us on arrival in the rain at night, helping us changed room because I can’t get to upstairs loft ! I hope more tourists visit Shaoxing and stay in this hotel, because it is a totally different experience from big city like Shanghai or Beijing, and you will not regret it.

En general, estuvo bastante bien. Dos noches por más de 3500, incluyendo el desayuno, me parece un precio justo. Se puede disfrutar de la experiencia, pero no hay que ir con la expectativa de que cada noche cueste 3500. Es un valle privado con villas, un restaurante con buena comida, servicio de transporte, y se pueden sacar fotos geniales subiendo las escaleras celestiales. El personal estaba ocupado pero resolvía los problemas. Los cargadores gratuitos para vehículos eléctricos (algo raro y generoso) y el spa fueron una delicia (¡gracias, Lena!). Es una pena que me perdiera un desayuno por levantarme tarde. Solo un detalle: es mejor visitarlo cuando haga más frío. Si hace calor, las tejas del tejado se calientan durante el día y se enfrían por la noche, lo que hace que se agrieten y suenen como explosiones, lo cual asusta.

We stayed at this resort for a two-night, three-day trip, and while the building and location were visually impressive, our overall experience fell short of expectations, especially for international travelers. First, the golf course was not well-maintained and did not resemble the pristine images shown online. Additionally, while the archery court was fine, it lacked proper safety protections, making it a concern for families traveling with young children. Despite being branded as an Italian resort, there was no functioning Italian restaurant during our stay, which was quite disappointing. Even though the breakfast was really good, the food options for lunch and dinner were very limited, especially for non-Chinese guests. As visitors from Nepal, we found it difficult to enjoy the meals, and one member of our group who is vegetarian struggled even more to find suitable food options. There were no alternative dining options nearby, so if you don’t bring snacks or food with you, your choices are extremely restricted. Another challenge was the language barrier. Only one staff member could speak basic English, which made communication quite difficult at times. While the venue might be suitable for events like weddings or photoshoots due to its scenic appearance, it’s not ideal for a relaxing getaway unless you come with your own activities planned. Without that, there isn’t much to do onsite, and the lack of entertainment, food variety, and language support made the experience feel isolating. Overall, this resort has potential, especially in terms of architecture and ambiance, but it still needs significant improvements in service, food, and international accessibility to truly be welcoming for global guests.

La ubicación del hotel es cerca de la residencia de Lu Xun, hay un metro de jardín y sabor de Shaoxing, también al lado, salir es la calle de caminar, caminar 3-5 minutos es Chen Huang y buscar recuerdos de tesoro. La habitación es amplia y limpia, y las instalaciones de suministro también son muy cómodas. 地理位置優越，就在江邊，晚上可以去步道散步。房間不錯，江景景觀很愜意，有浴缸。晚餐是套餐，服務很好有星級酒店的腔調，餐品品質也到位符合檔次。早餐種類還可以，挺好吃的，蔬菜非常新鮮乾淨，就是收餐沒有跟每桌客人説，説是十點半收餐，我背對着取餐區吃飯，想再喝杯牛奶，一回頭已經收了，當時衹有10點17分，不過早餐整體衞生各方面都很到位。好評。健身房好像外包的，不過器械非常豐富，挺好！
