This is a renovated basement apartment (ceilings are low, 6' 2") in our historic bungalow in the Mapleton Hill neighborhood. A 10 minute walk to downtown pearl st, as well as the Mt Sanitas trailhead puts you in an ideal location to experience some of the best that Boulder has to offer. You have your own private entrance in the back of our house accessed by a brick path, and the apartment is locked off from the upstairs of our house and is totally private, non-lived in space. Lite Haus means little house in Norwegian. But we also named it this because of the sound of, "Light House". We hope that this space can be a place of "Light" and restoration for each person who stays- a great escape.The home is a wonderful, quick walk to Old Town Louisville (just 3 blocks away). There are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques to explore. The home is also a short 15 minute drive from Boulder and a scenic 25 mins. to Denver. Public bus stop is a 1/2 block away.The spaceThe Lite Haus is connected to the owners main home, but once you are inside you'll feel like you are in your own little oasis. This mid-mod gem is impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed and fully appointed. The size is best for 1 or 2 guests.Guest accessThe "Lite Haus" is connected to our main home, but is its own entity, separated by a foot thick concrete wall. Park in front of house and walk down the path to the private and beautiful French door entrance.Other things to noteThere is plenty of storage in this little house, a large space to roll luggage under bed (bed is built so that luggage can be stored underneath).
