賈浩the manager was very helpful and his staff too. The hotel is situated in the old town part of Yangzhou. We visited Dongguan Street and the nearby canal system. They are well worth checking out for history and local food. To me stinky tofu was a must. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. We loved the various steamed buns and dumplings. My family is originally from Yangzhou so I loved the food here. Some westerners might find the restaurants a bit basic and not decorative enough. Also Chinese men are still spitting in the open too much. Slim West Lake was wonderful. We had tour guide 呂琳 to talk us through the various attractions in the Lake. We were very happy with the tour.

Absolutely beautiful 民宿. The room was exactly like the pictures & it was beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean. The room was huge with a nice patio and comfortable bedding. There was a lovely fruit platter provided. The hotel also had 3 gorgeous cats. Had such fun playing with them especially the beautiful grey tabby. The hotel was perfectly located in this newly developed old street which had lots of shops & food choices (cafes, restaurants). Only gripe was there was no lift for the 3rd storey room. That was a bit hard for my 77 year old parents. All in all a wonderful stay.

I've stayed at many hotels due to frequent business trips, but this hotel is definitely the best. Among the reception staff, Tian Tiantu and Changchang were particularly kind. I have an appointment in a place where it's burdensome to walk because I have an appointment. I asked for a taxi, but they personally transported me to the hotel vehicle so I could travel to the location for free. There are also some where you can have a simple meal late in the evening, and in my experience, breakfast is more diverse than hotels of similar size. It wasn't the kindness of one staff member, but all the employees were good. Even when I checked out and left the hotel, they picked me up to the train station. They also packed a gift containing Yangzhou specialties. Next time I go on a business trip to the same area, I will definitely use this hotel. Absolutely brand new and spotless clean. Situated inside the beautiful new Opera House by the lake. However, use E-hauling car not taxi, the access point to the hotel are not obvious if the driver was not using navigation. In general, not recommending using taxi. Use DiDi and any reliable E-hauling car is the best. Wish I had more time to explore the garden and the lake. Next time for sure.

Fantastic cultural and historical hotel! It is like staying inside a museum or a movie set with several courtyards, gardens and tea houses to ourselves, and still with the practical placement in and around the famous pedestrian street. The room had an own courtyard, and a shared front room and in traditional style. Comfortable beds and yet some wear and older features, its nothing to complain about for the price and value. Excellent service. We enjoyed the stay immensely and will not hesitate to stay here next time.
