The hotel was clean and the service staff was very friendly. The hotel services both smoking and non smoking and we chose non-smoking and the smoking rooms did not affect the smell of our room. I really enjoyed this hotel--great value for the condition/location of the rooms. They are more like apartments in houses. The hotel and surrounding area is very clean, quiet, and beautiful especially at night with the lights. The hotel staff was very helpful in picking me up late at night as well as ensuring I got a taxi and got to the train station when I checked out. Xiao Xue, who works at the front desk, even accompanied me to the train station an hour's drive away in Yancheng. She also made sure my belongings were stored from noon-6pm after I checked out and was exploring the area. Two of the other front desk also helped me as well. As the location of the hotel is quite rural, I would recommend getting a taxi from the front desk well ahead of your departure time if you are leaving by bus or train.
