II was thoroughly impressed by my stay at Mercure Dongtai Huanghai Forest Park! The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The entire property was impeccably clean, making my stay even more enjoyable. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. They went the extra mile by offering assistance proactively—whether guiding me or simply checking in to ensure everything was perfect. Their attentiveness added a personal touch that made me feel truly valued as a guest. I was also deeply impressed by their honesty and efficiency. When I realized I had left an item behind, I called the hotel, and 小徐 (Xiao Xu) at the front desk confirmed within seconds that it had been safely kept. She even arranged for it to be delivered to me the very next day—such outstanding service! Thanks to this wonderful experience, I will definitely choose Mercure hotels again in the future. Viajar es bastante conveniente: se puede llegar al Bamboo Forest Hotel y al centro comercial Golden Eagle en diez minutos a pie. Los alrededores son bastante convenientes. En general está bien. Para el té de la tarde, podría ser durante el Día Nacional. Llegué a la 1 de la tarde y básicamente no había nada para el té de la tarde en el bar del vestíbulo. No sé si necesito llamarme a mí mismo o algo así, pero no lo sé.

Not bad, but the room had a damp musty odor that wasn’t pleasant. It was clean overall. Good breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed our stay in my wife’s hometown of Dongtai.

That said, it’s worth noting that the spa and massage services were not available during this period, which may be a drawback for guests specifically seeking those facilities. Overall, Yihe Lakeside Homestay remains an excellent choice for travelers looking for beautiful scenery, a calm retreat, and a truly photogenic stay, where time seems to slow down.

This wasn’t my first time staying in Mingcheng Jinjiang hotel but I must say this time they reminded me how great they are.. I contacted them in advance asking them if they will provide temporary residence registration form. They were super professional especially Sandy Li, who made sure the form was ready. Check-in was smooth and quick, car parking was super convenient. Hotel room was clean and spacious. I asked for a bottle of water, they sent 3 bottles. They were amazing throughout my stay there. It’s a pity I missed breakfast both days as I woke up late hahaha.. but overall an amazing experience.. will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Yancheng.
