El hotel es un hotel tranquilo y agradable, perfecto para relajarse. La ciudad de Chikan Movie City está cerca, facilitando la visita a las atracciones locales.

Its a new hotel. Room facilities are all new and modern. Heavenly bed, aircorn is adjustable which is a bonus. The only down side is the pillows are too soft. One of the pillows has beads inside that caused me skin allergy. Room does not come with a fridge, safety box and hair conditional (they have stated on the booking) Very happy that the hotel has a laundry area. The hotel is close to the malls, but need to take didi.

We were delighted to stay at Country Inn and Suites by Radisson in Taishan (Liyi Hotel), we found the service and facilities to be quite excellent. The updated look of the room and its amenities was surprisingly enjoyable. We would stay at this hotel again in the future.

El personal de recepción y limpieza es amable y habla cantonés. Tomaron la iniciativa de mejorar la habitación king size, que se alquilaba por 292 HKD la noche. El aire acondicionado era bastante frío, el agua caliente en la ducha era suficiente, los electrodomésticos eran nuevos y la habitación no olía a humo ni a decoración. La habitación estaba bien insonorizada y había un Changdachang Plaza y un supermercado en el sótano, con muchas opciones para comer y comprar. La relación calidad-precio era muy buena, y me alojaré allí de nuevo la próxima vez.

El hotel de primera opción, que se abrió en 2025 en las zonas residenciales más recientes de Taishan, tiene que ser un excelente viaje a Taishan y este hotel de Fairfield Marriott. El servicio de respuesta, aunque con lengua, comunica mejor en Putonghua. Su cantonés es promedio y el inglés es pobre (pero intenta). Las habitaciones son grandes y confortables, están bien diseñadas, utilizando paneles de vidrio para delimitar el área privada de baño/douche del área de dormitorio. Pagué un poco más por una habitación de la esquina con grandes ventanas en dos paredes (Aspecto del Nordeste), mejoradas características de diseño de paneles de vidrio y una mesa/desk separada con sillas y luz para hacer el trabajo. El diseño de la habitación ofrece una larga caja de Oakwood y Marble que funciona la longitud de la suite, que fue muy útil para colocar el equipaje y para el asiento de los visitantes. El restaurante es excelente con las delicias de Taishan y las opciones de comida occidentales. La TV en pantalla ofrece una actualización en tiempo real de la disponibilidad de lavavajillas - la primera que he visto en un hotel, pero tiene sentido. El hotel está junto a un centro comercial de 4 pisos muy grande con todas las compras que quiera, y varias opciones de comida.

Overall experience was good. Only issue was the ac not able to adjust but was offered to change room. Also, if you want to do laundry, make sure not to use the wash and dry machines. We had an issue where the machines won’t dry for hours. We ended up having to air dry. This is no hotel fault. Seems like all machines there are like that.

We booked 3 rooms for a night, and all rooms were spacious and clean! 2 of the rooms that we got were equipped with mini washing machine and this is really convenient for us! The hotel is quite near to the main entrance of Chikan ancient town, and there's 1 convenient store within walking distance. 

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to both my home and my grandparents' house. However, an event called the ”All-China National Games”, specifically a volleyball tournament held in Taishan - meant that most of the players were also staying here. I understand that this arrangement was likely due to government decision-making. Nonetheless, this situation caused significant inconvenience to regular guests. For instance, delivery services (robots) were prohibited, and access to the self-service laundry was restricted. When I asked for assistance, a staff member stated, ”We don't do laundry for customers.” Only after I explained my inconvenience was caused by the national games did the manager offer to make an exception, saying, ”We will do laundry for you since you are a special case these days.” This reasoning is highly unsatisfactory. The reason I couldn't do my laundry was that I was denied access to the sixth floor, where the laundry room is located. If the hotel cannot adequately accommodate regular customers during such events, they should not accept bookings from the public.

I had a pleasant stay at the Manley Hotel during my visit to Taishan. The service was excellent—staff were attentive, helpful, and made the experience feel welcoming from check-in to check-out. The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shopping options just steps away. Even if you need to head into downtown Taishan, taxis are easy to find and very affordable, making it simple to get around the city. The breakfast offered at the hotel was great, though it’s worth noting that it’s entirely Chinese cuisine—something I personally enjoyed, especially for an authentic local experience. The downside was the laundry dryer— There was only one dryer for 3 washing machines, it didn’t work very efficiently and took about six hours to dry a single load, which was a bit frustrating. The Wi-Fi was also very unreliable, it would connect and then drop constantly. Even when it would work, the speeds would fluctuate. Overall, I’d recommend the Manley Hotel for its excellent service, local charm, and convenient location.

Rong'an is located very close to the North gate, and situated next to its sister, Cheng Shen hotel. In fact, the check-in/out is done at Cheng Shen, and the breakfast is also served there. We stayed in the double bed standard room on the 5th floor in No.3 Rong'an building. When we checked in, the front desk staff was very helpful in using English translation app (we don't speak Chinese), and walked with us to the room as the No. 3 building entrance is a bit difficult to find in the back of Cheng Shen building. The room faced the scenic town view with a veranda (photo from the room). The room looked exactly as shown in Trip.com hotel site. Clean and spacious, although a bit dated and simple. The beds were comfortable. Good value for money and a very pleasant stay.
