A hidden gem. I don't even want to share this review to make this hotel too popular! As a person who doesn't speak very good Chinese, the staff at this hotel were very accommodating despite the language barrier. When you first arrive at the hotel, you are greeted by a creative garden complete with outdoor dining areas, swings, a fish tank, and more. On check in, the receptionist was very attentive to all of my questions and directed me to the places I asked about through wechat. It was very easy to follow the directions. I was also offered a spread of fresh fruit to enjoy before settling in my room. The room was spacious and clean and had the most advanced toilet that I have ever used! There was a wide open window for a beautiful view of the dialou across the pond. The suite of amenities was also much appreciated, including snacks, toiletries, and slippers. A highlight of this hotel is the breakfast. They not only provide the standard Chinese breakfast fare such as porridge and pastries, but also served local kaiping specialties. They also have food you can order off of a menu but I didn't have anything during my stay. Upon checkout I was also given a goodie bag filled with local specialties and treats which was much appreciated!

Beautiful inn in a lovely tranquil location. We had a wonderful stay. The inn itself is absolutely gorgeous and we had a great time just sitting in the lobby area. Service is great; they helped us with our luggage up the second floor (only stairs here). The area is nice and quiet, but convenient - we walked 15 mins to Li Yuan and it was easy to book a DiDi car anywhere. There is a free shuttle bus between Li Yuan, the other Diao Lou villages and Chikan Ancient Town which was very convenient. Breakfast was lovely and so nicely presented, and the nice lady kept telling us we could ask for more.

I had a very comfortable stay at Mandarin Elegant Hotel. The hotel has all the amenities a traveller would need. It is also near to the newest mall in the city and next to a river with beautiful walking paths. The staff were attentive and personable. Special call out to 熊管家 and 赵经理 who answered all my questions and attended to my requests. The service by all hotel staff is impeccable. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Tai Shan city.

We booked 3 rooms for a night, and all rooms were spacious and clean! 2 of the rooms that we got were equipped with mini washing machine and this is really convenient for us! The hotel is quite near to the main entrance of Chikan ancient town, and there's 1 convenient store within walking distance. 

Wonderful hotel with friendly reception, and a beautiful and spacious room with a balcony! I stayed here for a family wedding that was hosted at the hotel. My room was immense and immaculate, and I enjoyed sitting out on my own quiet patio before the festivities began. My afternoon coffee and snack in the lobby cafe was delicious. Everyone was very friendly and professional, and even the maids greeted me in the hallway. I ordered my breakfast to go, and it was thoughtfully packed and waiting for me in the morning at the front desk. I’m so happy to find such a lovely 5-star hotel in Taishan City. I felt well taken care of. Thank you so much!

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to both my home and my grandparents' house. However, an event called the ”All-China National Games”, specifically a volleyball tournament held in Taishan - meant that most of the players were also staying here. I understand that this arrangement was likely due to government decision-making. Nonetheless, this situation caused significant inconvenience to regular guests. For instance, delivery services (robots) were prohibited, and access to the self-service laundry was restricted. When I asked for assistance, a staff member stated, ”We don't do laundry for customers.” Only after I explained my inconvenience was caused by the national games did the manager offer to make an exception, saying, ”We will do laundry for you since you are a special case these days.” This reasoning is highly unsatisfactory. The reason I couldn't do my laundry was that I was denied access to the sixth floor, where the laundry room is located. If the hotel cannot adequately accommodate regular customers during such events, they should not accept bookings from the public.

Chosen this hotel for its location which is located inside the Chikan resort. In terms of a hotel standard, very limited amenities. I believe the 2 blocks of propertylies used to be the hotel employees’ hostel as the setup equipped with 2 units of study table placed side by side, 2 units of super single bed, big balcony for laundry & 2 units of wardrobe. As i saw opposite ours there are properties, 3 blocks of the same properties are occupying by their hotel employees & seeing all their laundry hanging at the balcony. Anyway, they converted 2 blocks which have better view to rent out. Good idea for business income & the colour & multiple rooms given me the impression of the famous squid game.

The place is quite interesting, looking more like a museum than a hostel. However it looked a little run down and rough. Room 308 was huge but didn't feel cozy. It was cold at night and the heater was not working well. There is a bad sound isolation so I could hear every word that the people next to my room spoke. The young female receptionist that checked me in when I arrived was very helpful. She managed to rent an E- bike for me ! She deserves 5 stars for that. The location is alright, near some coffeeshops and restaurants and close to Zili and Li Garden historical sites.

Aunque la tienda no fue calificada de ”X” por la plataforma, ¡es un gran placer! La realidad coincide con la foto de la plataforma, buena salud!Karaok equipo de habitación de primera clase 👍! ¡La piscina de Cinqi está en el jardín de la puerta principal, junto a la piscina y tres habitaciones! ¡La hermana de la Administradora de Xiao Xiao (Blue) y otra cosa ** buena actitud, el servicio es prudente! Olvidamos llevar el abridor y volver a casa con el propósito! Si hay seis estrellas de aprobación, ¡eloge ******!

設施：極度老舊，十多年沒住過這樣破的號稱“酒店”的旅館了。頂噴花灑都是壞的！ 衞生：圖中可看：1️⃣藍色的皮面椅子用酒精棉片擦出來多少灰塵 2️⃣馬桶都是黃色的污垢 3️⃣盛放沐浴露的容器，全是凝固在出口的沐浴露和洗髮水 4️⃣空調線下方的衣架，怕是上位租客晾曬後，店家未收拾 5️⃣廁所的衣服架上遺留着拆封了的一次性物品包裝 。綜上所述：住得人膈應。如果衹是陳舊都還好，這是臟！大家謹慎選擇吧。如果不是自己有帶床上用品，當日會扭頭就走。 環境：酒店在飛沙灘景區內，出酒店就是海邊。陽枱面朝大海，可看日出。可是站在陽台就可看見隔壁房間，沒有私隱。隔壁的陽台也可直接跨過來，除非一直待在房間裏鎖住窗户門，不然是沒有安全保障的。女孩子謹慎選擇！ 服務：老闆人還是很好的，店裡也可以提供租車服務。也可以在他們前廳點菜吃飯。
