Hoteles de 3 estrellas en Oslo

La habitación era relativamente grande para ser un hotel escandinavo. También me gustó la calefacción por suelo radiante del baño. Las toallas y el gel de ducha/champú podrían mejorar. El desayuno estuvo genial. Mucha variedad. También comimos en el restaurante (10% de descuento). Para mí, fue la mejor comida de Oslo. El secador de pelo no funcionaba y nos lo cambiaron en 5 minutos.

The location was conveniently close to major sites like Oslo's Central station and all the attractions in Karl Johan's Gate. We could see both the Oslo Opera House, Munch Museum and Oslofjord from our room's window. It is a short walk to many good restaurants, cafes and shops as well as some convenience stores. The area is pretty walkable but you just have to watch out for uneven pavement. Bus 30 has a stop right in front of the hotel and many of the museums worth making a trip out of the city centre for are on this route. The ”barception” combines both a bar and a reception area. There is plenty of seating in the lobby which also functions as the breakfast area in the morning. The reception desk also has a small convenience store where you can purchase snacks, drinks and some sandwiches but it is a little bit pricier than the nearby convenience stores and supermarkets. Reception staff were welcoming and friendly during our stay and we visited a few times and received information and assistance quickly. We were initially worried because there was only one working elevator during our stay but that was only an issue a couple of times. We liked our room with the furnishings provided but would say it is very dim. We got a corner room which had a work space, a bench by the window, a chair and a good sized bed. We appreciated that there were several coat hooks on the walls to hang our winter clothing on when we visited. The hotel promotes sustainability throughout and while the lighting is perfect in the hallways and common areas we found our three small lights and two bedside lamps did not provide enough lighting in the evening which comes early in December. The TV was a big flat screen but unfortunately the smart features were disabled and the programming available is a little dry at this hotel. The amenities at the hotel are sufficient but I booked believing that there would be laundry facilities on site which there isn't. They recommended going to a sister property which was about a 10-15 minute walk away and online had one laundry machine and we were lucky not to have to wait long to get it done. Kettles and extra pillows are available upon request. Our favourite part of the bathroom was the heated floor which made the bathroom nice and cozy. The shower had swinging doors on both sides which helped open up the space when it wasn't in use but it didn't provide a perfect seal to keep the water in during a shower. Thankfully the heated floor helped evaporate the overflow quickly. The shower pressure was good but it was initially tricky to get the right temperature. We appreciated that there was plenty of counter space in the bathroom which made up for the lack of ventilation so use the toilet wisely. The breakfast was pretty good. There was a good variety of hot and cold items including smoked salmon, pancakes, chia seed cups, overnight oats, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese and an area to make your own yoghurt bowl with toppings. They also had a tea/coffee area with plenty of additives like non-sugar sweeteners and creamed honey. We liked the fruit platters but found by the time we went they were largely picked over and they were the less desirable pieces leftover. We started each of our days off right with a decent breakfast each morning. Comfort Hotel has seemingly taken over Oslo in this area and there are quite a few locations. We picked this hotel because it was pretty central for our itinerary, was fairly priced and it has decent sized rooms.

El hotel tiene una ubicación excelente y es el lugar perfecto para alojarse y realizar un recorrido de un día por la ciudad de Oslo. Se encuentra a solo 23 minutos del aeropuerto de Oslo en tren exprés y a 3 minutos de la estación hasta el hotel. Está muy cerca de la calle peatonal, la calle comercial, el palacio y la ópera.

Habitación acogedora y una ducha caliente estupenda durante todo el día. Llegamos al hotel temprano, alrededor del mediodía, y pudimos registrarnos antes de la hora prevista. El desayuno fue increíble. El personal de recepción fue muy amable y atento; nos recibieron con una cálida sonrisa y saludos (olvidé su nombre, tenía el pelo largo y *****). Los alrededores pueden parecer aburridos, pero son seguros y hay mucha gente paseando. A solo 5 minutos a pie de casi cualquier sitio (tranvía, metro, restaurantes). Hay un 7-Eleven justo enfrente del hotel para mayor comodidad.

Great location. The breakfast buffet had a big variety of food and I really enjoyed it. The lounge was cozy and staff was really nice. However, the room is not worth the price I paid for. The room is small with the sink and mirror facing the bed. It is impractical to have the sink in the main room, and to have the mirror facing the bed, which has bad spritual meaning. Toothbrushes are not included, and there is no hair conditioner. There is also no air conditioning, but it is okay since Oslo is a cold city. There are several bugs in the corner of the room, and stains could be seen everywhere. The shower is insanely small, which is not friendly for people with bigger body types. There is also no physical lock in the door of the rooms. Overall, everything about the hotel is nice except the room.

¡Nos encantó este hotel! El único problema fue que no recibí un correo electrónico de antemano para finalizar mi registro y poder tener el código de la puerta para ingresar, ya que no hay recepción. Afortunadamente pude enviarles un mensaje y el problema se resolvió rápidamente. La habitación era estupenda, grande, limpia, cálida y muy bien decorada. Nos proporcionaron todo lo que necesitábamos y más, ya que también tenían una bolsa de mano y botellas de agua reutilizables para la estadía. Estábamos muy contentos y tristes de tener que irnos.

La habitación era muy escasa, pero cómoda y caliente (en noviembre) y todo funciona bien. Nos alegramos mucho del valor de dinero, calidad, ubicación y servicio.

I have told myself to manage my expectation as it’s 3-star hotel after all. But it’s Norway so I am a bit more critical than if it were hotels in other countries. The location is ok, not too much in the city centre but close enough to work to touristic places. The service of staff is really hit and miss: some staff are really good and helpful. I told one of the staff in the morning that I wanted my room to be vacuumed as it was not cleaned properly (if at all) when I checked in the previous day. I would expect an apology but the staff just shrug and said ok. The breakfast is the savour of their 3-star. Plenty of choices, well decorated restaurant, staff are efficient in refilling food and drinks. The room is a standard 3-star, the balcony is a bonus. Overall it’s acceptable with this price in Oslo.

We chose an apt because we like to do our own cooking  The stove hob didn't work and they fobbed us of with electronic responses and broken promises for our total stay of 3 days. On the last night they asked us if we would consider changing apts if one became available. What a joke the place was empty You could shoot a cannon and not hit anyone. If they did not have maintenance available they could have offered the change on the first Night . Lots of food wasted because we had no cook top. No front desk means that there is no one to complaint to. Their Automated electronic responses to service requests  provides appalling customer service. Emails and emergency phone calls don't generate responses either. A disappointing stay.
