Sanpeiso was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The ryokan beautifully preserves the atmosphere of traditional Japan while offering excellent comfort and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and took great care of every detail throughout our stay. The room was spacious, spotless, and overlooked a peaceful garden, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The onsen was exceptional — the hot spring water felt wonderful after a day of sightseeing, and the entire bathing area was quiet and beautifully maintained. Both dinner and breakfast were served in traditional Japanese style and were outstanding. Every dish was carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and showcased seasonal ingredients. It felt like a true cultural experience rather than simply a meal. What impressed us most was the authentic character of the ryokan. Unlike many modernized properties, Sanpeiso retains the charm and elegance of a classic Japanese inn. The combination of attentive service, excellent cuisine, serene surroundings, and high-quality hot springs made our stay unforgettable. If you are looking for an authentic ryokan experience in Atami, I highly recommend Sanpeiso. We would gladly return on our next visit to Japan.

Overall, it could be rated excellent as a local ryokan but may not be ready for international clients. It has won Rakuten bronze award 2023. I am particular about smoking and the non smoking room was full of smoky smell. Also surprised that I have to set up my own tatami bed etc. Staff dependent on google translate but stranded when there's no WiFi. They could have translated common phrases in text. Nice garden.

Easily accessible - right in front of the beachwalk. However parking is not on-site but on a separate building. If you are driving, try to drop your luggages off in front of the hotel before driving into the carpark in the next hotel.

El servicio del personal del hotel es muy bueno. La ubicación cerca de la estación, pero muy estrecho camino mejor tomar el tráfico de taxi entre estación/hotel. El tipo de chave de la habitación del hotel es digital que no funcionaba bien Finalmente el personal del hotel dio la clave de metal para abrir la puerta.

The hotel should get more than 3 stars. The room is big, the smells also nice, although is an old hotel but the preserve it so nice. The public onsen also great. The night buffet just find but we think with the price and you can get all you can drink alcohol and sushi, pretty worth it. Overall, we love the hotel.

Located at end of the beach with good sea view; hotel is a bit old (no elevator) but seems recently renovated; staff are polite and helpful,and helped us to take luggage; a value for money hotel; this is the second time we stayed in this hotel and isrecommended

看得出是有年頭的酒店了，設施比較老舊，像房門鑰匙、開關、插座、座便器這些看着就是十幾年前國內3星酒店的標準。因為在海邊的關係吧，房間一進去就是潮濕的霉味，不過房間裏面有放凈化器。在花火大會當晚能訂到房，已經不容易了，雖然相比平時價格可能翻了3倍。房費包括2大1小的一泊二食，按3人鋪好了床、擺了洗漱用品。 早晚餐都是自助餐，要注意的是晚飯最好提前跟酒店約時間，我們不知道，去了現場被告知晚飯時間衹有第二場20點開始，還好我們的司機大姐跟前台軟磨硬泡，說我們要去海邊現場看花火的，給我們調到了18:30的第一場。自助餐品質雖然不多，但是味道很不錯，尤其炸蝦、蛋炒飯、牛排。軟飲、啤酒也是暢飲的，用餐時間70分鐘。 吃完飯，從酒店溜達到親水公園google map有兩條路，一條經過熱海銀座，人多車多店鋪多走起來慢，想感受熱鬧的可以走這。我們選了沿着系川河有台階的小路，去海邊是下坡走起來不累，大概12、3分鐘就能到親水公園，這邊看煙花正好。如果不想去海邊，酒店的5樓也有露台能看（當天有看到一塊指示牌），不過會被前麪的樓擋住一些。 看好花火回酒店，還能去2樓大澡堂洗澡、泡溫泉，舒服。第二天早餐最晚入場時間是9點。

Room was spacious. Nice traditional style design. My room only has a toilet. No private bath. If you don’t mind the public bath with the onsen, go for it. Amazing view of the sea. Downside is the hill + stairs climbing if you come at a timing outside of the transport service.

La habitación es amplia, vieja y habitación. La habitación es muy cómoda y la habitación es muy agradable para ver todo el puerto de mar caliente. La cena es muy regular, el desayuno es demasiado pronto para dormir bien.

He comido desayuno, pero hay muchos platos y todo es delicioso.
