The property is a no frills but distinct with a homely feel & lot of greenery. Room was clean and all services worked well. Best for long stays. Only drawback is a bit interior and not walking distance to nearby markets etc. Located in a good residential area with plenty of greenery & walking areas. Food is made to order & did not try it out.

The front desk is very efficient in handling my check-in and check-out. Room is very neat. The washroom is super clean. Bed is well made and very comfortable

El hotel es un hotel muy elegante y tiene todas las necesidades para una habitación única normal, desde mini frigorífico hasta caldera. Sólo que la ubicación está al lado de la carretera y el placa de señales tiene camuflaje.

Location, good, amenities, average, rooms, cleanliness, bath etc, good, coffee shop only for breakfast, average, the quality, spread, and taste need improvement, no lunch or dinner possible or available. However for the price you get value.

Excellent Stay, Great Location and Value for Money I had one of the best stays at this hotel in Chennai. I stayed for 3 nights and it truly felt like a luxury experience at a reasonable price. The location is a major advantage centrally placed and easily accessible to many parts of the city. The rooms are spacious, the bed linen was clean, and the bathroom was well maintained with proper toiletries provided. They also supply water bottles and there’s a water dispenser (water can) available in the hallway, which is a nice touch. They offer a complimentary breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. However the breakfast closes a bit early at 10 AM so plan accordingly. Car parking is available, which is convenient and the staff were polite and helpful, A special mention to the security personnel and room service staff for their hospitality. Outside food is allowed as well, which is a plus. The only minor inconvenience was that the lift always stopped at the first floor (reception) by default, which was slightly annoying. Also FYI, I misplaced my room key card and had to pay ₹200 for a replacement. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Chennai.

I liked the Raj Palace. For a reasonable price it provided everything I needed. I liked the friendly staff. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. It must have looked very elegant when it first opened. It probably could use a remodel to recapture its glory days.

My guest had a late check in at midnight. They slept at 3:am. They woke up at 7am with the disturbing noise because of work done inside the hotel. They were happy with the location, staff, service, food etc. This is their second stay in this hotel.

Just okay okay if the only purpose is business travel at low cost. Wouldn't suggest for personal stay if travel-ling for holidays. Breakfast taste was okay but no variety was there. They are still building/renovating the ground floor and 5th floor cafeteria of the property. The reception staff was not very customer friendly. Rakesh at cafeteria was very helpful and made my breakfast a good experience. No dental kit in the room and the cups were not clean only 1 litre water is given.
