I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming homestay in Shaoxing that truly felt like a sanctuary for the soul. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning traditional architecture that seamlessly blended with the local culture. Each corner of the property exuded warmth and character, making it a perfect backdrop for introspection and creativity.
Despite the rain during my stay, it only enhanced the experience. The open courtyard design allowed me to immerse myself in the soothing sounds of raindrops while I reflected on my thoughts and future plans. There’s something incredibly calming about watching the rain dance against the tiled roof, and I found it to be the perfect setting for writing and contemplation.
After a peaceful day, I ventured out to the nearby old street for dinner and drinks. The vibrant atmosphere, with its charming shops and lively eateries, made for a delightful evening. I enjoyed exploring the local cuisine, which was a wonderful complement to my stay.
The homestay offered remarkable value for money, combining comfort with an authentic cultural experience. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met while allowing me the space to find my own rhythm.
If you’re looking for a place to clear your mind and connect with your inner self, I cannot recommend this homestay enough. It’s a true haven where traditional beauty meets modern-day tranquility. I left feeling refreshed and inspired—exactly what I had hoped for.

KKhE168Stayed three nights and I think the hotel gave us one of the bigger rooms which is appreciated. The staff were friendly and the early check in at around ten in the morning helped a lot after a long flight. The free late night congee was good and the laundry room with detergent was very useful. The lobby also had free coffee, milk and bottled water which I used a few times.
The room was comfortable and the bathroom was big. The only problem was the water design because the shower and the sink both leaked onto the floor. Housekeeping kept the room tidy but the teapot and cups were never cleaned even when I left them used which was disappointing.
There is a Lawson about two hundred metres to the left of the hotel which was convenient. There is also a noodle restaurant across the road that tasted good and was easy.
Overall a good stay with friendly staff and useful facilities but some small details still need improvement.

UUsuario invitadoThe location is fantastic! It’s a remote hotel not far from the Fuzhi Rice Terraces. It’s a great place for the summer time when you want to relax by the pool and have a walk amongst the fields. They had fireworks which was a lovely touch. I maybe go back. However, the place is very dirty and is in need of a deep clean. There was a dirty plate in our room, the door on the inside of our bathroom is black at the bottom, the pool needs a clean and the tiles need fixing, the white curtains in the dining area are old and need replacing, there is dust in the corners or the windows as you eat. This place is great but it could be SO much better with a deep clean every month. There are different members of staff and the man on the last day was much more attentive than the first day. Instead of being on the phone, those men could be cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the place. It’s too expensive for what you get.

UUsuario invitadoThe location is the best thing about this place. You can take easy, kid-friendly strolls or go trekking in the hills and cliffs just a short walk from the hotel. It’s surrounded by postcard views — no wonder it’s often used for weddings.
The pool has a beautiful view and is relatively clean, but the sunbeds were dusty and dirty. The restaurant was supposed to be open until 8 p.m., but by 7:30 p.m. there was hardly anything left to order. The menu is just an A4 sheet with small, dense text, hard to read and not very inviting.
The hotel grounds have many nice spots, but most look somewhat abandoned. We also saw a staff member smoking and throwing a cigarette on the ground next to the pool. The room was spacious and overall fine, but during the holidays the price was 50% higher than usual — not justified by the experience.
I accidentally left my earbuds in the room, and nobody contacted me until I reached out myself. I appreciate that the hotel sent them to me, but it would have been a nice gesture to cover the small 13 RMB shipping fee. For a hotel charging 1,400 RMB per night, that kind of thoughtfulness makes a difference.
This place definitely has potential, but it hasn’t been developed.

XXteroHome Inn is always a reliable choice wherever you go. This one was in a great location, near all sorts of food, shopping and entertainment. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Something was stolen from my motorcycle that night, which i hope isn’t a common problem there because the hotel itself was very good.

MM3119****Los beneficios y los desventajas son los siguientes:
Ventajas: 1. El servicio de recepción es muy bueno y muy amable.
2. El hotel tiene varios pisos superiores en un edificio, otros pisos tienen otras empresas, pero no da una sensación de molestia, hay cinco pisos de ascensor, muy pronto.
La habitación es cómoda y sana, el precio debe ser muy alto. La habitación familiar tiene un cuarto de niños solo, aunque pequeño pero similar a un pequeño replicado, es demasiado amigable para nuestros niños.
4. El transporte es conveniente, muy cerca del centro comercial de Wanfeng y la tierra, y es conveniente comer.
No es sorprendente decir que el desayuno es muy sorprendente, pero hay estilo chino-occidental, este precio puede comer tantas clases, el sabor también es bueno, y la máquina de café puede beber café.
6. Una cena cercana llamada ”Yuan Everest” es realmente deliciosa!!!
Y los desventajas:
1. Probablemente la tía que se apaga no es responsable de algunas cosas, como las puertas, la limpieza de las ventanas de la casa de baño, algunas cosas sucias no se han limpiado durante mucho tiempo, la televisión no puede ver, y las ventanas eléctricas ya no pueden controlarse a distancia.
2. La luz no es suficiente, la luz no puede ser iluminada al mismo tiempo, no se puede leer la luz cuando se abre la cabeza de la cama, y la habitación es más luminosa.
En resumen, este precio ya es excelente y la próxima vez se considerará la estancia

UUsuario invitadoBeautifully located about 1.7km from city center at a quiet residential area which is very peaceful and serene next to a river. It's easily access by online taxi booking.
We love the awards winning Southen Song Dynasty design of the property , however we noticed that the management didn't really put in efforts to upkeep the place.
We stayed in the garden room on the ground floor which we have access to the Riverside garden. It's a shame that the garden are not maintained and the furniture in the garden are not clean to tho use.
I'm sorry to say that staffs attitude are pretty standard or below, not warm nor cold , didn't make the guests feel welcomed.
