We were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended. The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour. The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

As a mom travelling with my two boys, (16 and 13) we had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful villa! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our incredible host Xianti (XT), his lovely mother, and the entire family. They were exceptionally kind, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout our entire visit. We stayed in the Triple Family Courtyard Room, which was not only beautifully decorated but also spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Despite our late arrival, we were still able to order a meal from the aunties and wow, the food was outstanding! In fact, we ended up having lunch and dinner there every single day because it was just that delicious. Every meal felt like a lovingly prepared, home-cooked feast. We also had the pleasure of taking part in a tea ceremony, which was a serene and special experience. The tea was exquisite, and it was a lovely way to connect with the culture and surroundings. Another highlight was the recommendation to see Impression Da Hong Pao a next-level show that left us absolutely amazed. What made it even better was that our host arranged the tickets for us and had them delivered to the villa, so thoughtful and convenient! If you’re still hesitating, don’t! We can wholeheartedly recommend this villa. It truly felt like a home away from home in China 💖 and was the perfect base for exploring the breathtaking Wuyishan mountains. La comida del restaurante es muy sabrosa y tiene una buena relación calidad-precio; incluso te dan guarniciones y verduras de la huerta gratis. También ofrecen tés de hojas sueltas gratis (5 o 6 opciones de la finca, según tengo entendido; muy ricos). Es una pena que las tazas y los vasos sean de plástico desechable por comodidad; poner agua hirviendo en plástico no es lo ideal hoy en día. Las salas de té son muy elegantes, pero por lo que entiendo, son básicamente salas de degustación para clientes que desean comprar té, lo cual puede resultar un poco confuso si solo quieres tomar té, no necesariamente comprarlo (y mucho menos al por mayor). El personal es amable, pero no habla inglés, lo que limita la comunicación a transacciones monetarias. Esperaba un mapa de la zona turística, indicaciones para llegar a la parada de autobús, consejos sobre qué visitar en el parque, etc., pero en general lo averigüé por mi cuenta. La habitación es muy cómoda y la zona es impresionante; no te pierdas el espectáculo Impressions Dahongpao y, por supuesto, las vistas panorámicas del parque.

I’d choose this guest house again! It’s really clean and comfortable and spacious in the rooms! There is an elevator despite it being only 4 storeys high but it serves the elderly well! Staff are helpful and friendly! Lots of tea drinking available!

El paisaje es realmente único, la ventana de la habitación ya es hermosa, y el cuarto de piso 6 es aún más hermoso. El servicio de los administradores también es muy bueno. The owner was very friendly, helpful and thoughtful, making the entire stay comfortable and delightful. He tried to contact me multiple times on my mobile (as he could not reach me on my Singapore number which I had switched off) on the day of check in, to ensure I was able to find the location of the homestay efficiently. He gave good advice on hearing we had booked the bamboo rafting plan the next morning, which was great as it helped us get a little more sleep 😆. Location is right along Song Street which has various food and drinks options. It’s also right next to the disembarking area for the bamboo raft (on the return journey). We booked the Tatami room which had a great vibe and faces the river. Room is very clean and well-maintained.

Recomiendo mucho este hotel. La ubicación es excelente, justo al lado de la carretera principal y rodeado de restaurantes. Desde el momento en que entras, te recibe el personal con un saludo muy cálido. Durante el check-in, el recepcionista me hizo un upgrade y me dio un mapa turístico detallado, además de sugerencias de rutas. La habitación estaba impecablemente limpia y me sentí muy cómodo nada más entrar. El desayuno es delicioso, con café recién molido, fideos y vermicelli frescos, que son especialidades locales. En general, la experiencia fue fantástica. La próxima vez recomendaré este lugar a mis amigos.

El hotel está ubicado en una zona pintoresca. Es muy conveniente visitar las atracciones. Las habitaciones están bien equipadas, limpias y cómodas. Las señoras de la recepción serán pacientes para resolver cualquier problema que surja. lugar para registrarse. El ambiente es hermoso y cómodo. A truly wonderful experience! We felt really at home in this characteristic family-run hotel just at the fringe of WuyiShan National Park 🌸 the hotel is conveniently located just inside the National Park and it is a perfect starting point for your hiking exploring the wonderland of WuyiShan. The building maintains its authentic vintage charm while offering all the conveniences of modernisation: the rooms are spacious and well-equipped and you can enjoy a lot of communal spaces for various activity too. The courtyard and the little garden are especially charming and in the tea room you can sip a cup of hot Dahongpao for free after a muscle-challenging walk around WuyiShan. The hotel is also very close to a lot of restaurant and amenities, while shielding you from the hustle and bustle of tourists. We especially appreciated the privacy and silence surrounding the hotel: it wonderful to hear the sound of the rain in the night gently lulling you to sleep. The hotel is also very clean and well-looked after. The service staff is particularly helpful and supportive: super gentle, welcoming and polite! We really recommend this hotel as a base for your discovery of the wonders of WuyiShan!

酒店總體上來説還是不錯的，但是設施有些陳舊了。洗澡間的推拉式玻璃門，我們倆人無論如何也拉不動，衹能將就着用了。酒店樓頂上的不知什麼設備，噪音很大。 服務人員的服務態度都很好，尤其是保安師傅，指揮着我慢慢停車，不厭其煩。謝謝啦！
