The place itself is very cozy and the location is superb - very close to changbaishan west station and just a few minute walk to changbaishan west scenic center. Many restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. Highly recommend this place!!

When I arrived at this hotel early in the morning, I actually felt puzzled, wondering if all the surrounding shops and other hotels were closed. It seemed that not only was it not the peak tourist season, but the economic situation might also be unfavorable, which likely explained it. Since I arrived at the hotel too early, no rooms were ready yet. So, I left my luggage with the hotel first and set out for a tour of the western course of Mount Baekdu. When I returned, my luggage had already been placed in the room assigned to me. The condition of the room was impeccably clean. When I woke up in the morning and opened the curtains, the bright sunlight streaming into the room made me feel incredibly refreshed. I went down to the lobby for breakfast, and the hotel owner personally set the table. The food was exceptionally neat and delicious. Moreover, the owner spoke better English than anyone else at other hotels, which was a great help. It was a clean, cozy, and comfortable hotel to stay in. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator, but carrying luggage up one floor shouldn’t be a problem for most people. We were given a honeymoon suite. Very big and nicely decorated. However, the water in the shower cubicle did not drain well. Also, some leaking from the basin. We arrange an early morning taxi journey to Changbaishan north slope and the hotel owner requested the cook to cook something for us early in the morning before the official breakfast time.
