UUsuario invitadoEs muy difícil elegir un hotel en Phuket. Durante estos 4 días, me quedé en un mal hotel la primera noche y decidí cambiarme a otro hotel al día siguiente. Estaba satisfecho con este hotel, así que renové mi reserva. Otra noche, y el precio principal también fue más rentable.
La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, la salida está justo en la costa. Hay 2.711 tiendas a 200 metros. También es conveniente para ir de compras. También hay un mercado nocturno con puestos de aperitivos.
El hotel debería ser renovado, las habitaciones son muy nuevas, los baños son antiguos, pero están muy limpios.
El personal de servicio también es muy bueno. Si necesitamos algo con qué comunicarnos, nos ayudarán a hacerlo.
Además, hay un punto de recogida de basura en el cruce. Huele un poco al entrar y salir durante el día, pero no afecta la habitación.

IIvan KraljThe mattress was comfortable, but sadly the top middle beds are not the best place to put tall people (as they will inevitably hit beams with their head). Also, the electricity socket in my bed wasnt sturdy enough to hold a charger in place, so i had to improvize with putting a bag and a cap as the base, so it wouldnt be following out.
AC in the rooms is turned off between 11:30 and 16:30, fyi.
In terms of other facilities, everything else seemed spacious enough. Actually so spacious that i think the architect could have put additional toilets in the bathroom, as two didnt seem to be enough for the 1st floor (30ish people?). There were however 3 urinals, most awkwardly placed near the always opened doors, and sinks used by everyone (the bathroom is unisex). It would have made sense to get rid of these, and rather have another toilet.
As for showers, there are three. Water pressure was fine, even if it was hard to get truly warm/hot water. Shower gel/shampoo available, as well as necessary hooks to hang your stuff.
Breakfast was a simple scrambled egg with a slice of toast and butter, cabbage salad with mayonnaise, and a cheap sausage. Fine to start a day, but not so fulfilling. Coffee and tea available at breakfast, water throughout the day. You can also use the kitchen to make your own lunch or dinner.
In the lobby and outside, quite a few areas to hang out and chill. If you wanted to play pool, thats 20 baht. Board games were for free.
Top floor has washing machines (50 baht per load) and a dryer (10 for 5 min), but i think you would have to spend quite some time there reloading the coins. After 2 turns that didnt dry much, i hanged my laundry on limited hanging space, but beware if you do that, as it can be windy, and many clothes were flying around.
The staff is approachable and hospitable, even if their basic level of English can lead to quite a few misunderstandings, as I witnessed.

UUsuario invitadoОтель очень понравился, удивительно чистый, выглядит новым, уютный. Каждый день приборка, меняют полотенца для ванны и пляжа, пополняют воду. В номере микроволновка, чайник, холодильник, посуда, чай, кофе, ватные палочки, шапочка для душа, в ванной шампунь, гель, полотенце для ног. Отель недалеко от пляжа карон (мин 15 пешком), но при этом находится чуть вдали от шумных улиц, все кафе, магазины, аптеки, массажи рядом. У нас был корпус с общей терассой, у каждого номера свой стол и стулья, сушилка для белья. Есть корпус у бассейна, там свои отдельные терассы. Бассейн чистый, есть лежаки, народу никого. Персонал в отеле потрясающий, улыбчивые, вежливые и очень старательные! Брали номер семейный с диваном, отличный диванчик с боковинами, для 2 детей в самый раз, и не падали. Единственный недостаток, это то, что полы только подметают, не моют, но наверное это тайский менталитет) я пробовала отмыть, но у меня не получилось, ходила в носках). Этот отель я бы рекомендовала 100%

22morrowsworldMy initial thought on this accommodation business is in some ways positive. If it is viewed purely as a 'hostel' with an associated coffee shop, then it definitely has attributes (and I'll come back to those later).
But if taken at face value on the basis of its tariff cost and amenities, both real and indicated, then there are several problems with it. The first is the way the premises is represented on the Trip com platform.
Photographs of the double bedroom include one of a bathroom. The attached text description and its context makes the plain implication that the room has an ensuite bathroom, which it does not. If little scrutiny is applied when reading the description, this fact will escape the readers attention. Anyone looking to make a reservation quickly can easily be misled (inadvertently?) into believing that this is a 'hotel' style room. Many hostels do offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms after all. The bathroom is communal and is inconveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are above this.
A second related criticism is the room size description - 18 m sq is quoted. The room has dimensions of 3 x 3.5 m. That is, about 10 m sq !
Although late February is still peak season in Phuket, it has to be said that the room tariff of almost $60 AUD per night is exorbitant. It may be considered acceptable for a 18 m sq hotel style room, given the circumstances, but a room of this kind at this particular locality ought to be offered at a lower price. Having said this, I concede that the reservation was made late and in haste.
Now onto the good things. The 10 m sq double bed room has old but high quality wooden furniture which serves its purpose well. The air conditioning is responsive and strong
There is a large kitchen next to the bathroom/wash basin (trough). It's equipped with a large fridge, sink, cutlery etc as well as a coffee maker ( + ground coffee). A delicious banana cake was offered to guests. Clothes can be washed and dried via a coin operated machine.
Other attributes include the woman owner/ manager who has a professional approach and an attitude very well suited to the hospitalality jndustry. The coffee shop also makes decent coffees and ham n cheese croissants.

IIvan KraljEven if it ended with a nice gesture, the receptionist handing me a keychain gift (not sure if they do that with all guests), with a written request to leave 10/10 review, sadly I couldn't ignore the shortcomings of this hostel that seemed like just a downgraded version of Marco Polo Poshtel (not sure which one came first, but from breakfast to ”funny” wall messages, there was a similar ”creative” signature).
While I was initially attracted by reviews mentioning hostel's cleanliness, I couldn't say I shared the same opinion. Certain public areas were quite messy. The staircase to the first floor (where shoes are forbidden) didnt seem to be cleaned for some time. In the showers (which had a good water pressure), there was mold. None of the three handsoap dispensers in the only bathroom had soap in them. It just felt the staff doesnt have time or organizational skills to maintain everything in working order.
But I was mostly surprised by finding a not clean (i dont want to call it ”used”) bed cover in my bed. It had some fresh stains, hair and crumbles (well, not just on bed cover), and seemed just to be folded after the guest before me (even the folding seemed messed up, so i really thought maybe the bed was forgotten). When I asked the housekeeping to change it, they initially approved. The younger housekeeper started changing everything, sheet included (which i believe is a good way to do it, when it is not certain if the bed was completely changed), but when the older one returned, she made her put the sheet back (the sheet that was thrown on the floor in the meantime), laughing all along. No, that wasnt really funny.
Then instead of letting the young housekeeper put on the new bed cover she brought along, i noticed that the older one brought something that seemed to be the same old bed cover that i complained about (the duvet was already inside). When i asked if that is a new thing, she was convincing me it was. Already at that moment, i felt ridiculed. But i said, ”okay, if you say so.”
After all was done, i came back to my bed, unfolded the bed cover and confirmed my doubt - all this performance of changing the bed, without them changing anything! The only difference was that the bedsheet was also on the floor in the meantime.
This got me really frustrated, mostly because they lied to my face (what for?), and mostly because they invested energy in ”changing” everything while actually just stripping everything off and returning it (why? It takes the same amount of energy to do it for real). Feeling like an *****, i asked what seemed to be the problem? Dont they have clean bedding, or what? But they had. I asked them to give it to me then, and i would happily prepare the bed myself. Which they accepted. Lol.
I dont know, with that poor breakfast, the visual mess, unpleasant ”toilet” scent at hostel entrance, and generally low level of cleanliness (you can see how yellow the pillow is once you remove the pillow case yourself), it felt that other reviews mentioning spotless hygiene were misleading. Or were my standards too high?
In any case, i stayed in a dozen of Phuket hostels during my month here, but none of them tried to insult my intelligence. There are better places, and no, Dorm Hostel sadly doesnt deserve 10/10, to quote the request they tell everyone at check-out.
I also tried to leave them space for hostel improvement, so instead of lowest marks, i left average ones, even if the experience was truly below average.
P.S. When a guest asks whether a ferry with a pick-up operates everywhere in Phuket, a genuinely helpful answer would be ”yes”. And not ”no, it's only our hostel's pickup”. I understand everyone just tries to earn money, but it shouldn't be done by misleading guests who just trustfully ask for information.

MM522182****La recepción del hotel fue educada y entusiasta, y me explicó pacientemente información sobre la ciudad de Phuket, lo que me permitió tomar el autobús a Hua Hin sin problemas. La ubicación está en la carretera secundaria. Saqué mis maletas a las 6:00 en. por la mañana y pude tomar inmediatamente un tuk-tuk para llegar a la nueva estación de autobuses, aunque la habitación es un poco vieja, tiene una buena relación calidad-precio. No hay hervidor de agua en la habitación, pero usted. Puedo conseguir agua caliente las 24 horas del día en el vestíbulo del primer piso. Quizás considere volver allí en el futuro.

UUsuario invitadoThis used to be a quiet and sleepy village with a tourist off-season. Now, it is bustling and packed with tourist signage, restaurants, and shops and seems more crowded. This hotel has a restaurant in the back right on the beach. The food is ok with tourist prices (you can walk down just 100 meters to a great restaurant) but the setting is fantastic. Beware, the path from the street/front of hotel/restaurant goes right past the rooms in a little hallway. Get a room on the 2nd floor if possible.
The rooms are ok and nothing to rave about. It can feel claustrophobic since the only tiny window opens directly to a cement wall and you'd keep the main entrance/sliding doors closed and covered for privacy. It is very dark at night.

BBjörn AbroadThey have a bad habit of turning off their water. I was just now having a shower, shaving my head, and the water in the shower stopped. I had to walk downstairs to the reception with nothing but a towel and soapy head to ask them to turn on the water. they did so. however... When I exited the shower to brush my teeth, the water had stopped again! I waited at the reception but it seems they were hiding from me. I called The hotel number and they came downstairs. I questioned why they keep turning the water off. they just apologized and turned it back on. I don't shower profusely long. why does this hotel have a problem turning on their water? I think I know the answer... Because they have a leaky tap! I think that instead of repairing the tap, they'd rather just turn off the water...

CCecibunzEsta casa de huéspedes superó mis expectativas más allá de las palabras. Lo juzgué prematuramente por el precio, pero mi habitación era muy grande, estaba impecablemente limpia y realmente se veía bien. También tenía un televisor que realmente usaba, una tetera para prepararme el café, una plancha para planchar la ropa y un frigorífico mini-bar. Mi habitación también tenía un balcón. La ubicación es perfecta. A unos 8 minutos a pie de la playa (NO uses la carretera principal si caminas, es peligroso porque no hay aceras y más lejos. Usa las calles secundarias). Hay bares, restaurantes, oficinas de cambio de divisas, lavanderías, cajeros automáticos y spas por todas partes. Si hubiera sabido cuánto disfrutaría de este lugar, me habría quedado mucho más tiempo. El personal de Sure Guesthouse también es muy amable, profesional y servicial. Por último, si no conduces ni vas en moto, no te preocupes, Grab and Bolt funcionan muy bien aquí. Estaba usando Grab para ir a destinos lejanos, pero luego cambié a Bolt porque sus precios son casi 1/3 de los precios de Grabs. Desventajas: Se vuelve un poco ruidoso por la noche (debido a los bares y la vida nocturna), pero no tanto como para no poder dormir. Además, no hay ascensor, por lo que tienes que usar las escaleras (esto estuvo bien para mí porque estaba comiendo MUCHO, así que necesitaba las escaleras, pero sé que a algunas personas no les gusta eso y probablemente deberían pedir que les den una habitación). el segundo piso al hacer la reserva. En general, este es un excelente lugar para hospedarse para cualquier persona de cualquier edad, especialmente considerando el precio. Si alguna vez vuelvo a Tailandia, definitivamente me hospedaré en Sure nuevamente.

LLiliyaОтель Tina очень зашёл ребенку. Ещё бы бассейн прямиком во дворе. Классно. Водичка освежиться в самый раз. Мы жили на 2м этаже, что тоже плюс на 1м, где бассейн показалось, что в номерах не так неуютно - мало света. Были 2 ночи, номер у нас был хороший. Было комфортно очень, что большой холодильник. Немного огорчило отсутствие горячей воды, но в + 32 это не очень печально.
